Envy snarled slightly. He really didn't want to do this- what he wanted to do was kill Hoenheim. Or the Elric brothers- the pipsqueak would be exceptionally fun. However, he calmed himself and smiled slightly, "I'm sorry, Master. I'll go right away". He headed towards the door, shifting into a generic man and heading for the door. "Though, for all we know, she may return of her own freewill." he said, his voice teasing slightly as he walked out.

Dante leaned back into her chair once he left, closing her eyes and letting out a deep sigh. "What am I going to do with him?" she grumbled to herself.

"Well..." Pride continued, contently pleased wiht proving himself but showing nothing on his features. "The children are strong. They've dealt wiht quite a bit, and are not near miscarriage. However, with all of Martel's recent stress..." A quick glance to Envy and Wrath before speaking up once more. "...they aren't develping at the rate normal children would be expected to do so."
It had been a strange sensation, looking into Martel' womb. But he was glad he had done so now. It allowed him to redeem himself. and being Fuhrer, he had 'ways' of gettin those children even faster now. He was going to enjoy this very much. Yes, indeed.
"By using the State Alchemists at my disposal," Pride said, a grin forming at the edge of his mouth, "I believe iof they know the human body well enough and are truely skilled, they can sspeed up the process of birth, tricking the body into thinking nine months when it's really only been a few hours."
A devilsih grin finally broke out.
"And wiht your permission Master, I know just the men for the job..."

Wrath suddenly screamed in agony, leaving contact from his mother to latch to the leg that contained his 'mark.' Beginning to cry, he lifted it up. The crimson light spilling into the room, dimming it red. A moment passed, before it flared down. He sat there, breathing hard. "Greed.." he breathed, which sounded like a hiss. "After doing what Envy said.... He nearly killed us both.." he said between breathes. "He is so powerful.. I heard him scream something..." he said, trying to recall. "He said; 'Fine, I'll show you the real reason why Dante fears me.' But.. Greed can't take all of us, right..? He is bluffing right..?" he said, staying sitting, scared to put pressure on his foot. "Is there more to Greed then we know?" he asked, finally catching his breath. "Or is it that there is something you are not telling us..? Master." he asked, sounding slightly serious, adding on 'master' at the end to tell Dante he was still showing respect despite the question. "I feel, that if he is going to show us the reason you of all people fear him. Then we should get serious ourselves. Master-Dante, never fears any one. So if Greed is telling the truth, it must be something big." he pipped, sounding sincere rather then what it could be interpreted as.

Sloth sighed slightly. While she could admit she felt a slight connection with Wrath, his crying still made her somewhat angry at times. "Calm down, Wrath. I promise, there's not a thing Greed can do to harm you. As long as you don't fool around when battling him" Sloth told her 'son', in a voice that showed that this was a warning.

"But, Mommy.." he began. "He nearly killed both me and, Envy." he added, seeming slightly scared and confused. Things were heating up, now. And he was left out of the loop, and that scared him. He didn't want to go into a battle like that. "He said he knew everything. That there was a bigger reason why master fears him." he quoted.

"Greed was just trying to scare you. Don't take this the wrong way, Wrath, but children like you are frightened rather easily" Sloth said, trying to comfort the boy. She rubbed his back slightly, feeling a bit strange as she did so.

"I may be a kid, but Envy was getting used for a rag doll, Mommy..." he added, desperately trying to warn them. "Envy, too.." he said, before relaxing into to her back rubbing.

Dante reclined in her chair, listening attentively as her most valued homunculus explained his plan. Her face remained completely unreadable, but her eyes shined with morbid fascination.
She frowned profoundly when he spoke of the complications. There had never been a doubt in her mind that Martel had not miscarried, but she had long harbored suspicions about the health of the children.
"You have my permission to do whatever you feel necessary to get me those children," she told him evenly. "But are you positive there will be no side effects? Interfering with natural processes is often risky."
Before she could continue speaking, she heard Wrath scream out in pure agony. She cringed at the sound, then glared at the boy. She was in no mood to deal with his whining.
Leaning back in her chair, she rubbed her temples. "Wrath, I am going to tell you what I told your brother, so listen well. Your job is not to think, it is to carry out my will without question. You may have superhuman strength, but your mind is still that of a child."
She looked up at him, then continued, "If I ever decide to keep something from you or your siblings, I have good reason to. Understood? As for your concerns, Sloth is absolutely right. And even if Greed is more powerful than all of you put together, that won't mean much with the entire military on his tail."
Pausing for a moment to let everything sink in, she smiled knowingly. "Do not worry yourself any longer, Wrath. I would have dealt with Greed a long time ago if I considered him a threat. If he makes a move against me, I will deal with him personally."

Wrath pouted, he knew what he was talking about, even if he was a child. He still was rather intelligent. "Yeah." he said, opening the door and idly walking out. "Now I see why Greed left the bitch. So overconfident, she's going to get us all killed." he fumed, leaving to the streets of central. Of course, a bit more 'disguised.'

Dante watched him leave, her lips curved into a suspicious smile. It was fairly obvious that he was upset with her. After living for over four centuries, one becomes rather skilled at reading body language. Even if the boy was convinced he was right, she still knew better.
Sinking back into her armchair, she let out a sultry chuckle. "Have you all such little faith in your master? How disappointing..."
She had grown far too lenient with her servants over the past century. Creating a military dictatorship was no easy feat, but maintaining it for so long was even harder. Had she not needed their assistance, she would have eliminated the more rebellious members of her legion a long time ago.
Wrath would have to be dealt with first. Out of compassion she allowed the boy more freedom than her other minions, hoping her kindness would endear him to her. It seemed to work at first, but in the long run it only served to hurt her. The boy became a defiant brat, foolish enough to think he knew better than his master.
Manipulating his ouroborus would be a risky move at this point. If having Envy beat the child into submission or threaten to kill his mother didn't work, she would leave him in a room with her new Gluttony prototype for a night or so. That would straighten him up.
Envy would be more difficult to deal with. He was like a dog with sharp teeth, obedient but tempted to take a bite every now and then. She was honestly surprised he hadn't tried to kill her yet. Perhaps it was because she was the only one who could sustain him, or maybe he still felt some sort of attachment to his mother. Whatever it was, she couldn't care less. If he failed to improve by the conclusion of the Lior conflict, he would be dismissed.
One of Martel's children would be a suitable replacement. As for Envy himself, she would simply wipe his ouroborus and keep him as a companion. Certainly not for friendship, though the thought of it amused her. By that point she would have Edward to satisfy her needs, but a mindless shape shifting drone would be very useful in bed.
"...I suppose it is time for us to raise the group morale," she smiled eerily, looking to Pride. "I have an assignment for you, Fuhrer."

Sloth turned her head to her master. "Is my assistance required?" she asked, sounding slightly bored. Despite her usual attitude towards her assignments, and having to work as Juliet Douglas, Sloth did still act like her namesake. And right now, she just wanted to rest for a few moments.

Wrath stayed out in an ally. He knew they didn't care for him. Even his mother, felt empty. He began to realize things had changed, she went from caring and kind, to barely seemingly tolerable. His foot began to pain him again. "As if I don't have a fucking enough to...-" he complained standing up, and suddenly was in awe. "Wasn't that....?" he asked himself, being a few inches taller then the trash bin he had previously seemed shorter then. "What did that doctor do to me?" he asked himself. He felt his personality change a bit, he felt calmer. He realized things that previously were oblivious to him. A small grin plastered upon his face. He disowned his mother, knowing now what she really was. A leash. Something was changing in, Wrath. He didn't know what, but he liked it. Maybe his being around that philosopher's stone had changed something within his make-up that was waiting to be set into action. He never even contemplated the things he was thinking now. "Consider your hold on me, Sloth. Abandoned." he vowed. "You're not even my mother. You're an abomination of the Elric's mistake. Their problem, not mine." he said, slipping into the darkness. "I am, Wrath. And now, I have my own agenda." he whispered, vanishing.

Pride simply grinned as his plan was noticed Dante, and he acknowledged her with a nod of hisd head, his wide grin fading bebeath his very thick mustache.
"I won't fail you again Master," he said solemnly. Then Wrath began to scream in agony, and a vein twitched in the Fuhrer's neck. He swerved, his uniform billowing with the sudden draft from the swift movement.
"You have such little faith in our Master you think she'd fall beofre that sorry excuse for a carbon shield?!" Bradley made the most of his sin by being the best of the Homunculi in service to Dante. He wouldn't let this kid taint her name.
"Trust me, I've dealt with Greed. He made have tossed you and Envy around like a children's plaything..." Hear he revealed the secret his black eyepatch witheld, then put it back before continuing, "But I know what he's capable of. My Ultimate Eye allows me to see how his body works. I can easily get past him while getting those children."
"Now, I must ask something of you," Pride said, turning to face Dante. "It is my belief that the Elrics have fled to Risembool, along with an...'aquatince'...of mine. He knows my secret. I would like to use him in my experiment with Martel. He is very skilled, and should he fail...well." He cackled lowly here.
"It'll be of no loss to us."

Ooc;; Tai, dude, you're awesome. But there is something that you're not getting. The 'Ultimate eye', that Pride has isn't a phsycic thing. It is basically like Sharingan. Just because he can see all possible outcomes does not mean he can literally see the future or read the power levels of a person. The gist of it is, he knows all possibilities of Greed's true power. Not his actual true power. So not even Pride fully knows what the hell Greed is talking about. XD Also, are you talking about Mustang? .___.; He was in fact told by, Hughes. But as to if he believes it or not, is still up in the air. And right about know Pride should feel his eye burn and his seal glow. That is a sign that one of their own has been altered. .__.;

((Thanks for the compliment, and I'm sorry about this mishap. I was letting Pride basically give hiomself an ego boost, kinda of make himself feel good knowing he gets to play Dante's favorite. But the Eye thing with Martel I talked over and got approved. Only question now is where to go from here, and when will Winry post in the other one? XP))

Dante frowned slightly when he mentioned that someone had discovered his identity. Although she would rather the offended be eliminated immediately, she trusted that Pride knew what he was doing.
"You have my permission to do whatever you wish, Fuhrer. All I ask is that your personal undertakings do not harm the children."
She paused for a moment, then glanced at the silent homunculus standing in the corner of the room. "Sloth, would you be a dear and keep an eye on Wrath? I must speak with the Fuhrer in private, and I fear that the child may be up to some mischief."
Sloth nodded and quietly departed, closing the door behind her.
After her minion left the room, she turned back to Pride. "As I was saying before, I have another assignment for you, the details of which are not be shared with the others."

Pride waited calmly until he and Dante were alone. He went ahead and drew the blinds and locked the door behind Sloth as a precaution. He knew these 'meetings' with his Master were of the upmost importance, so privacy was a necessity.
"I'm all ears ma'am," he said smoothly.

Dante rose from her chair and walked over to the liquor cabinet. Opening the door, she grabbed a wine glass and began pouring herself a drink.
"As you are aware, most homunculi are created through failed human transmutation. Rarely has an alchemist ever actually set out to create one. About two hundred years ago I set out to develop a method for creating the perfect homunculus, one that could be tailored to my exact specifications."
She walked back to her chair and lowered herself into it. "Greed was the first phase in this project. On the night he planned on proposing to me, I murdered him in his sleep and revived him as a homunculus. But before feeding him red stones, I altered his biological composition to give him a carbon shield. At the time I needed a homunculus to protect me while Envy was away, and I could not risk allowing nature to determine its special ability."
Taking a sip of her drink, she smiled to herself. "You were my latest attempt at the perfect homunculus. Nature dictated that you would be able to alter your height, but that would be of little use to me. Since I intended for you to become Fuhrer, you needed to have complete control of your surroundings - hence the ultimate eye. Not only that, you also needed to look the part. I altered your physical appearance and capabilities, making you the man that you are today."
"At this point I had the ability to radically alter the appearance and abilities of an homunculus. Unfortunately, my need for a new body caused the project to come to a screeching halt..." She paused, her smile widening considerably. "That is, until I saw Greed display his true power a few weeks ago. His display of strength showed me that this project had far more potential than I ever dreamed of. If I could accidentally create such a powerful homunculus by making simple alterations to its genetic structure, imagine what I could do if I actually tried!"
She brushed a strand of hair from her eyes, then continued with her speech: "Over the past few weeks I have been laboring on the prototype for a new Gluttony. I developed several chimeras to serve as models for the actual homunculus. During their creation I tested my new methods on them, and so far the results have been impressive. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to test their abilities in combat, which leads me to your assignment..."
"After we capture Martel, you are to gather your men - preferably those that have been meddling in our affairs - and lead an assault on Greed's headquarters. You will have several objectives, and it is of dire importance to my plan that each of them are met."
Dante paused for a moment to take a sip of her drink, then turned her attention back to her creation. "Have your men kill as many of his minions as possible. This will let him know that I am not playing around, and it will give him an incentive to show his true power."
"Eventually I will arrive with my Gluttony chimeras and release them into the fray. They will eliminate your troublesome subordinates, along with any of Greed's friends that might have survived the initial attack, while I observe their abilities from the sidelines and decide which model will go on to become the final prototype."
Dante grinned and put her drink aside, folding her hands on her lap. "This will be risky, especially if any of your soldiers were to survive, but if everything goes according to plan, all of our problems should be solved. Any questions?"
((No worries! And just in case the post was confusing, here's the gist of her plan:
- Pride leads an attack on the Devil's Nest, accompanied by soldiers he wants out of the picture.
- He does whatever he can to incite Greed into showing his power. Killing his friends, taunting, etc..
- Dante arrives with her Gluttony chimeras and unleashes them into the fight, watching as they kill any survivors. They will fight Greed make him show his power if he hasn't all ready.
- Dante watches from the sidelines and determines which model's features will carry on to the actual homunculus prototype.
- Dante and Pride escape with the surviving chimeras after she gets her information. Greed suffers a crushing blow, the problems in the military are taken care of, and she will have an exceptionally powerful homunculus to whip Envy and Wrath into shape. ))

((It's fine. And thanks.)) Pride listened with increased interest of the overall subject. He mulled the plan over in his mind, going through each step with precise calculations, searching for possible errors. He already knew the story of his and Greed's creations, and had guessed at his Master's methods of trying to make a perfect Homunculus. But everything else he had to admit was new to him, yet still impressive.
"Let me get this straight," he said, standing up and walking over behind his desk to the closed curtains concealing the window beyond it's red plushness. "You want me to kill my 'brother's' crew in the hopes of enticing Greed int such a rage he'll know you're not messing around, and unintentionally reveal his true powers?"
"And in doing so, you will also have me carry out my plan and 'recruit' my State Alchemists to attempt the partial human transmutation on Martel's unborn children?" Bradely thought about this some more after saying all of this. The plan certainly sounded fool-proof. A few flaws were seeable, but nothing he wouldn't be able to right should they come up.
"I accept my mission, Master." He bowed lowly here, his short black hair playing against his scalp, the one long bang caught in the wind. He leant back up, stroked his bushy mustache, and grinned menacingly.
"Permission to keep up to keep the Albus Alchemist alive long enough to perform the transmutation on Mrtel? That is the only question I have. Everything else I'm all for. Just notify me when you are ready, my leige."
