(( You bastards xD It took me longer to read all that then to come up with a post, type it, check my mail, reply to mails and post this xD Ah, I guess it's punishment for not being on as often xD
But keep it up guys, it's too much fun to not read xD))
Jean took the lighter back and watched amusedly as Kimblee failed to squat the fly. He bet Hawkeye would have hit it in one go. With her gun anyway.
As he was inhaling, the small buzzing sound quickly died out, just as a large figure appeared out of apparently nowhere.
This resulted in the Lieutenant choking on the smoke he'd just breathed in.
With eyes watering he tried to grab his gun, yet failed to find it, realizing that he'd actually shoved it in his bag.
Considering himself a damn idiot, he listened intently to the conversation, eyes hard and narrow as he waited for a moment to strike.
He watched with surprise as a Philosophers Stone was brought out, already damning the she-male for it.
How many lives had been lost just to create that little stone? He thought bitterly and he doubted the living dead being would give a dman about the families of the innocent victims.
But at least it was all falling to place, why Barry had acted so oddly early. This guy was the reason his colleague had a gun to her head, regardless of what was being said. If Envy hadn't forced Barry into anything, it wouldn't have happened, that he was sure of.
When Kimblee pulled out his own red stone, it did make Jean wonder why the man didn't break out of prison with it. He didn't know much on the stones, but figured that even the small ones had some power in them. It just made Zolf seem even more odder, scarier even. There really was no way to tell what he was thinking, he doubted even the Homunculus could guess, no matter what he deemed to believe.
This was a bad situation, that he was sure of. Barry was hear arguing with a thing that seemed pretty bent on not dieing and Kimblee was muttering some kind of proverb while being offered a job at Bad Guy Inc.
He could see both of them going loose canon once they hit Lior.
The only thing he considered a possibility was that it would happen after they found Archer. After all, Kimblee seemed to hold the man in some regard.
Jumping out the window and turning into a bird, even seeing it with his own eyes, he found it surreal. It wasn't normal, but lately not much was.
"I hope you're not considering his offer." He didn't glare, but his eyes weren't exactly shining with friendliness.
"We came here for a mission. We do the mission, then we go home." That was also round about the same thing they'd heard back at the Ishbal Massacre.
'Do the job and we can all go home.'
Oh how he prayed that things would go right for a change, the prospect of a new stone being made was not on his to-do list. And he was pretty damn sure that Mustang would not really appreciate it.
