Alex turned to see denny just as he spoke. "what did i miss, major?" was what he had said. alex was getting less tense by the minute. "well, lieutenant, not much. the bell just rang after all. You can sit next to Ed, wouldnt want to block his view..." alex's booming laugh echoed for only a minute before he realized that ed was looking at him. "well, lets get started then. This year we will cover some advanced sparkling techniques, as well as how to counter-sparkle. dont worry we wont pass up you first years, but i will expect the best from all of you." alex turned and wrote what he had just said on the chalk board. "i understand that some of you have never sparkled before-"alex gave a extremely penetrating look at Ed."- even though you were in my class last year. lets go over the basics real quick." alex struck the hulk hogan pose. "as you can see, I am flexing, but not straining. remember balance is key..." for several minutes alex when on with different poses and stretches, and then... "Edward please come up to the front. class Edward is... wait a minute where is your brother?"

Alphonse was rarely late for anything....well....usually, and perhaps he surprised himself when he realised that he was late for Major Armstrong's class...though why he was there in the first place he couldn't really remember. He had to admit that the tall muscular man scared him at times, especially when he would suddenly rip his shirt off...that was never a good thing, and being in this classroom, well, that just led to more moments of shock. The younger Elric stood rooted to the spot outside the classroom door, hand raised somewhat nervously to knock, but barely managing a small rap on the door. He wouldn't be angry right?

Envy and Gluttony came into the class, the former quite reluctantly. Envy wasn’t in his main form, but in the guise of a rather bulky male military officer. Seeing he was actually manly in this form, it was quite hard to recognize him, if at all. Gluttony was also clad in military uniform, but this disguise did little to hide his identity to the elrics and wasn’t nearly as elaborate as Envy’s.
Their goal was to stalk the Elrics and capture them after the class ended, but Envy doubted that’d be possible with Gluttony present. While Envy could easily disguise himself, he’d been forced to bring Gluttony along with him to babysit him. While he’d tried to contain Gluttony in all forms of miniature prisons, he always simply ate through him, having left him no choice but to bring him along.
Envy was extremely disgusted with the whole affair as he went to sign up. ”The name’s Brutus Keelhaul.” he forced himself to mumble. He was obviously going to hate every second of his time here. . .He motioned down to Gluttony. ”And this here’s my brother, Bartholomew.”. Gluttony looked up at Armstrong eagerly and chuckled, licking his lips. ”When’s lunch break?” he asked. Envy just rested his face in his palm and sighed. The mere thought of being RELATED to that abomination was appalling. . .He went to go take a seat in the back row as he left Gluttony to his own devices. ”The idiot will somehow probably manage to enjoy this. . .”

Alex heard the small tap on the door and went to answer it. "Aha! Here is the youngest elric brother. Alphonse, how are you? Your only a couple of minutes late, but thats okay. lets see you can sit behind your brother in that oddly over-sized-but-just-right-for-you desk.*turns to 'Brutus' and 'Bartholomew'*You two may sit over there next to Anthras." he could see straight through those disguises. the fat slobbery one was no doubt gluttony and that meant that there had to be a puppet master around somewhere. Brutus had to be him. Alex figured that he might as well teach them, but if they got out of hand then anthras would have no problem taking them out. he took a glance at roze."make sure you mark them on the roster. alright class we should start now." Alex went to the front of the classroom and struck a pose. " take notes, class. It is essential to balance AWESOME MIGHT equally with elegant grace. Krystal, please come up here. i would like to demonstrate how easy it is to sparkle." alex held out his arm in another pose.

Krystal watched as the last of the students, or so she thought, came in. Among them was Ed's brother, Alphonse, and several military personelle. She smiled to herself as Alex demeaned Ed, but only just a little. She got an uneasy feeling with the odd-looking duo of military personell. She just shook her head and went with it. After all, if something was wrong, Alex would take care of it. She looked up at the mention of her name by Alex, and walked up to him, wondering what he wanted her to do. After all, she had only been in his class a couple mintues, and never had tried sparkling before...
*Roze*
Roze glanced around as the class filled up, but rather than with people that she had on the list, the people were new. She sighed, not bothering to make a new seating chart, and just adding the students in where they sat, moving any current resident on her list to another spot to accomodate the new one. She glanced around, noticing how many new faces and military personell were there. It made her slightly uncomfortable, which was shown only by a slight shift in her posture...

Envy ignored Armstrong’s instruction and continued on his way to the seat in the back. Perhaps if he just stayed quiet and hid in the corner nobody would notice him and he wouldn’t have to participate in the humiliating exercise? God. . .How could there even be a class for something so idiotic anyway, and how could the citizens be willing to pay for such an abomination with their tax dollars? Envy doubted this place would be up and running for long, but unfortunately it’d still be up long enough to torture him for the entirety of the day.
Gluttony nodded eagerly to Armstrong and actually seated himself where he was instructed, although he was slightly annoyed that he didn’t get his question on the lunch break answered. He barely managed to fit into his desk due to his obesity. . .He considered making himself more comfortable by eating up some room, but the desk didn’t look particularly tasty, and Envy had already fed him a hearty meal before he’d come in, hoping that it’d stave his hunger off long enough to prevent him from giving away his identity in class.

Denny just stared, mouth slightly agape, wondering if it would be a long fall should he jump out the window.
He pondered who the hell had told Armstrong that posing like that in public was okay. Though, somewhere in the back of his mind, he probably figured it to be some newly promoted officer who figured showing the enemy their 'strength' would get them out of a fight.
With uninterested eyes for the class at hand, he casually watched the newcomers enter, two officers he'd never seen before and Alphonse. He waved to the later with a grin and patted the seat next to his, though he was pretty sure the kid would head to his brother's side. Besides, if he sat in front of him, Ed really wouldn't see anything.
"Um, How many classes are there?" He'd raised his hand gingerly, not really wanting the major's attention, though having him answer a question really would be a nice change from all that posing.

Alphonse went rigid the door suddenly opened to reveal the Major, of course there was no expression on the younger Elric’s face, but frankly he was a little shocked. “F-fine!” he answered in reply to how he was before moving into the class a little, somewhat timidly as the Major told him where to sit, he was thankful that it would be by his brother at least. Nodding his head Alphonse made his way slowly over to the desk, sitting down as quietly as he could, considering his body rattled somewhat when he moved.

Anthras:
Anthras looked up just as the man in the armor came in, noticing also the major and his brother. Anthras wondered why a man should come to class in a suit of armor, then suddenly noticed the densitylevel on the inside of the armor was the same as the outside levels... meaning it was hollow. it took a second to realize what was going on, but remembered alex telling him that eds brother had "an extreme circumstance thrust upon him." anthras had been told what happened, but could believe it until now.
realizing that the two newcomers as they split ways. they bore no similarity of the bond which tied the Elrics together. in fact it looked like Brutus was disgusted with his brother and eager to get away from him. as Brutus passed by Anthras, he caught a heavy stench of raw alchemical energy and tensed. he would have to keep an eye on brutus.

(oh crap i forgot, woops)
alex thought that it wouldn't be good to have the attention of the class distracted for so long so with a flourish gestured towards Krystal. "class... your attention please. Miss hikari will now help me to demonstrate how anyone from any background, without any experience, can sparkle. Miss Hikari, i would like you to close your eyes and take a deep breath." alex moved away from her side so she wouldn't feel the pressure of his presence.
"Now, Miss Hikari, i would like you to look deep within yourself to the golden nugget that is your self confidence. I want you to grasp this self confidence and drag it back with you to the surface. as you drag this nugget imagine that you pass through hallways of elegance, balance, beauty and self respect. now if you will open your eyes and strike the first pose that comes to mind. show us, if you will, that nugget."
Alex sat back and watched his student as she progressed wondering if she could do it.

At first, he was quite interested when Armstrong directed class attention to a young woman, yet, as soon as he'd said nugget for the second time, Denny let his head drop to his desk, hoping to knock himself out.
It failed, miserably and he now had a headache.
"Maybe if I do it again, I can use my concussion to get out of class?" He muttered to his desk, pretty sure that the Major would claim his sparkles could heal head injuries.

Roze would watch the class intently. It was interesting, even if she was not a student. It was easy to see why so many had taken the class- or so she thought. She recorded the young Elric's seat next to his brother, and noticed that a man was apparently trying to get out of class due to injury. She sighed, and walked over next to the boy. "Umm... please try to pay attention" she whispered softly into his ear, "It might not be interesting to you... but I'd hate to see Alex-san in a bad mood... sometimes his good mood is bad enough..." With that said, she walked back to her seat once more, to watch the girl named Hikari.

Looked rather astonished that the Major was wanted her to do a sparkle, even without any experience. However, she listened to his explanation, and did indeed try to grasp the confidence within her. The closed eyes really helped with the visualation... however, as she pulled that confidence out of her, it fell a few times, requiring more concentration to not let it fall. When she finally pushed it out, she pulled her arms in, and stood up on one leg. Her leg was set straight out at ninety degrees from the rest of her body, and the knee was bent down again at ninety degree. Her arms were held straigh out at ninety degrees from her body, until they bent up at the elbow at ninety degrees again, and then again at ninety degrees were her wrist was, bending outwards. Some would have called this position the "Flamingo Stance." However, black, blue, red, yellow, green and brown stars popped out- representing the elments of Runology, plus the Anti-Sparkle. However, the good news for the Major was that the anti-sparkles were small and few. One might be able to tell the elements thusly: Fire was red, Water was blue, Lightning was Yellow, Air was green and Earth was brown. The sparkles lasted only a few seconds, with the anti-sparkles eating away at the renments of the Major's previous sparkles. After the few seconds were up, she stood normally, looking quite embarressed at the Major. "Um... how did I do...?" she asked timidly.

Alex stood at the back of the class now to let the students watch and learn from a natural born sparkler. he watched her face as it rose and fell at the attempts to bring out the self confidence, but at last she succeeded to bring it forth. in the spotlight she shone like a newly polished diamond and in this beautiful expression of her true self shed several tears for the beauty. "Ah... er, HO! Miss Hikari! You have succeeded in your first try, and with stunning forte`. truely you have done well this afternoon." alex strode to the front of the class, tapping Ed's shoulder on the way. "miss Hikari, you may take your seat. undoubtedly the inner struggle taxed you and i have refreshments at the end off todays class. Edward please come up here and join me." alex cast a look at Edward, daring him to defy his request. "that is unless you find your booster seat to be to comfortable to withstand a moments parting from it?" alex stood ready to defend himself from the forthcoming attack, knowing it was his only avenue of instruction for the boy.

A sudden vicous slam at the door made it nearly buckle and snap with the amount of force and weight applied on it.
Another kick made the door fly open, revealing a chortling Barry, dragging an unfortunate Slicer in by the plume of horsehair attached to his helmet.
"Sup? I heard 'bout all this sparkling business, thought me an' my pals here ought to try it out! Might come in handy."
Slicer groaned in panic, desperately latching on to the door frame.
"Don't you fool, you don't know the Major, you don't know what he's like-" He stopped his frantic whispering abrubtly as he realized his defeat, and his fingers slid out of grip slowly but inevitably.
As Slicer was dragged staggering into the classroom, Barry looked around with a low whistle.
"Seems just about everyone's here! What fun! Hey there Phonsie, hows the lil brother complex going? And the mighty Fullmetal Loser, your growths just as stunted as always."
He chuckled merrily, completely oblivious to the Slicer brothers protests.
"...Older brother, I REFUSE pointblank to jump on any of his crazy ideas..."
"...I AM AWARE of that fact younger brother, but it seems we don't have a say in this case."

Heymans Breda always looked up to Alex Louis Armstrong. Now he actually had the chance to learn a few of Alex's moves...
As Roy's right (or left) hand man, Heymans never ventured too far ... from the Elric brothers. He always had to keep 'Mustang' in tune with every step the Elric brother's made...
Today he was able to enjoy the gems passed down from the glorious Alex Louis Armstrong. He was to attend Alex's class, only his most recent game of chess had lasted an hour too long. Now he was late for the class. He ran down the hall and turned the corner blindly, darting as fast as he could.
Ultimatly he collided with Alice, who was waiting patiently at the door to be permitted, just as tardy as he was...
From the ground he looked at Alice:
"I'm so sorry miss ... I just didn't want to miss Armstrong's lecture...."
He offered his apology to Alice as he sat confused on the floor in front of the door.

At the mention of Edward sparkling, Denny's head lifted from his desk, grinning as he thought about the sight he was to see.
Straightening his face, he looked to the short blonde and gave him an reassuring smile " Do it and get it over with, kid."
Of course, it was mostly for his own entertainment. Why shouldn't it be?
With the way things were going, he'd be dragged up front sooner or later.
A soft knock had his eyes flicking to the door, his trained ears picking up a slight scuffle and word exchange. Sure he didn't hear what was said, or who it was, but it did occur to him that they would soon have two more classmates.

Ed hadn't been paying attention to what had been going on. He just simply heard his name and stood, "yes...sir..." he said nervously as he walked to the front of the room. He stood looking at all the others in the classroom. "Umm...Major...what am I supposed to do?" He whispered to his rippled friend.
