Bob frowned and glanced upstairs. It was possible that Magrace was up there somewhere, but he had a feeling that was not the case. Knowing him, he would have been shouting obscenities at them when they burst in. Then again, he could just be sleeping or something.
"Hmm... Perhaps Mikey did away with him? I don't think he'd be able to put up with a prick like Magrace for three years."
------------------------------------------------------
Sandra looked up from her nails, frowning when she saw Martel. It had been quite a long time since their last meeting, so she did not recognize her. Still, she knew that she was not someone she would get along with, so she decided to have a little fun at her expense.
"Well, would you look what the cat dragged in!" she smirked. "So, what are you here for? Liposuction?"

"Maybe...." Frank said thinking it over. "If that' the case, all the better, right? One less bastard in the world". He then walked back over to his partner and frowned. "You know, I'm almost tempted to just hand Mikey to Martel."
----------------------
"Fuck off" Martel said with a hiss. She wasn't in the mood for this bitch right now. "I'm here to see my son and make sure he's alright. Now just tell me if he's here".

Bob nodded. "So am I, to be perfectly honest.. But despite how monstrous he might be, he deserves to be tried for his crimes. Besides, a dead body would mean more paperwork."
--------------------------------------------
Sandra stuck her tongue out at her. "Fiesty, aren't we? I'm sorry, but we haven't had any new arrivals this morning."

"Where's the goddamned ambulance?" Frank asked angrily. They always seemed to take forever whenever it was a real emergency. --------------
Martel hissed slightly. Deciding to ignore the bitch, she walked over to some chairs and took a seat. There wasn't much she could do now, anyway.
----------------
"I have a really bad feeling" Arden said with a frown. She paused in her scalping of the dolly she held in her hands.

*Hikari* Krystal looked up at the female that was trying to be so kind to her. It actually did help her feel somewhat better, but not any less confused. "Tell you the truth... my life back in Amestris wasn't that great anyway... it's just... I'm confused..." The young girl sighed, taking another look around. "Um... I guess I'll speak to that lady whenever I have a chance... but I don't know when..." She stood up again, and checked one of her runes on her arm. "Nothing... I guess I can't use my runology here..." She sighed. "My one weapon against freaks and harmful people... Now I'm defenseless, unless I learn to use one of those.. Guns..."

As Zolf cracked open another beer and downed it, the dream began to fade to obscurity. Thank God!, he thought. At the rate he was drinking, there would be no beer left for the BBQ, but to hell with it...he cracked and downed another one in a few gulps and lit up a smoke. The porch was unusually quiet today. Only a few noises coming from the kitchen.
------------------------------
Sarai hummed pleasantly as she got skillets and spatulas ready. She got flour, syrup and bacon and eggs out of the fridge. The bacon was a large, uncut slab. She got a knife out of the drawer and handed it to Barry. "Mind slicing some bacon?"
She prepared some waffle batter and cracked a dozen eggs into a bowl and scrambled them with a whisk as the waffle iron heated.
[yeah, yeah...boring stuff. Not much interaction going on here in the house.]

*Roze*
Roze hummed about what she needed- it was probably the alchohol that she missed! She shrugged about the inclusion of it, but hey, if it made it work, so what? She slumped down to the kitchen, where she saw anothe r girl and whom she belived to be Barry. Simply nodding to them, she raided the fridge and took out a can of beer. She sniffed it quickly, and made a face. It was fresh alright. She smiled and closed the door to the fridge. She might have to heat this up... She turned to the other two in the kitchen and asked, "Hey, how long can you heat up beer before the can explodes?" She really didn't feel like cleaning any more... but then, something else came to mind. "Hey, anyone seen Kain?"

Zolf walked into the kitchen just in time to hear Roze's question. "Well, if you hand it to me, I can blow it up in a second." he chuckled. "Oh wait...that was before I got teleported to this stupid alternate world." He furrowed his brow, "Why the hell do you want warm beer?"
He scratched his head quizzically. To each their own, he thought.
"I'm BBQ'ing some steaks and I got lots of booze to go with it...even stuff for girly drinks." he added. "Margaritas...strawberry Daqueries (sp), and all manner of fancy paper-umbrella-in-your-glass, type of drinks. Care for one?"
Sarai listened from the sink and rolled her eyes. At work on this poor girl now. she thought. Well, at least he's not insulting her. Probably because she's not an Ishballan.
She cracked the eggs, pretending each one was Kimblees head, and put them in a bowl for the waffle batter.

Barry watched her take out the food, and was slightly surprised as she handed him the knife and gestured towards the bacon, asking him if he would slice it. "Er-Don't you-" He stopped. Of COURSE she didn't know. Otherwise she wouldn't have offered him the knife in the first place. He smiled weakly, and accepted the knife swiftly. He wouldn't want her to think anything was wrong. The feeling of the sharp blade cleanly cutting through the meat was a thrill to him. Even though it was ANIMAL meat-well, not that he wanted the other kind anyway. He knew that if one of the more...experienced about his deeds in the past were to see him like this, they'd probably think it wisest to stay well away. Well...lets just hope that doesn't happen then.

*Roze*
Roze sighed, looking to Kimblee. "Hey, look who it is! The Crimson Alchemist," she stated somewhat unpleasently, albeit calmly. However, her hospitality rose when she heard his offer. "Sure, I guess. Although I don't know if I'd like one of those "girly" drinks, and if you must know, I'm using this as an alchemy ingredient." Ah well, if none of these people were going to tell her, she could just see what the man wanted with her now, and heat it up later. "I guess I'll take a normal Scotch." She smiled at him, wondering what his reaction would be- never mind the other two in the room. She didn't know if she could handle it, but then again, she was slightly showing off- his comment about the "girly drinks" had somewhat peeved her...

Scar glanced over to Dante. "What is it?" he asked. Dante had the worried tone. When Dante had the worried tone, something was wrong. Very, very, very wrong.

He raised his brow a bit at her dry and deadpan remark. He shrugged and looked away. He was used to being shunned, whether he was being an ass or nice, it didn't matter.
He reached into the cupboard, leaning over Sarai's shoulder as he did so. She cringed at his proximity. Almost shuddered in revulsion. He grabbed a shot glass and slid it down the counter top for Roze. Hell, he was only trying to be a passable gentleman, and even that earned him glares, rebuffs and disrespect.
"The Scotch is on the back porch, with the rest of the booze. It's in one of the paper bags next to the big outdoor fridge. Help yourself." he said, nonchalantly. Since she was going to use it as some alchemical experiment, no reason he should whip it up for her.
With no one interesting to talk to, and no interesting persons willing to give him two cents worth, he forgot what he'd come for and just went back to the porch. He dived into the pool to cool off and surfaced at the edge of the pool. He ought to just move. He wondered why he'd come back to begin with. He liked his job well enough, but he didn't feel like serving expensive BBQ to a bunch of sneering ingrates. 'Damned if I do and damned if I dont' he muttered bitterly. 'So I'll just be damned for being what and who I am...fuck 'em all.'
After the BBQ, he'd probably pack a bag and head out to Vegas again. Maybe he could talk one or two people into coming out with him. But he doubted anyone would accompany the loathsome Crimson Alchemist whether they were good, bad, or ugly.

((=O Kimmy's sad!))
Barry continued to slice the bacon with quick, adept movements, frowning slightly as he silently listened to the conversation Kimblee was having with the Roze girl. He noticed how Sarai seemed to cringe slightly as the crimson alchemist leant over her, and to be honest he couldn't blame her. Though of course, the crimson alchemist was much less of a threat now that alchemy didn't work, and to be frank he seemed to have been caught by this worlds calming atmosphere as well. Hell, nearly everyone had been. Of course some of them still had the occasional quirk or habit from their original life, but no-one was directly psychotic anymore. Not even himself. Of course he still liked the feeling of slicing ones knife through meat-but it didn't have to be human meat. He knew he'd only get nothing but trouble did he revert back to his old ways. He sighed, shifting the cutting board towards Sarai. "Here. Done." He said, the meat cut and sliced neatly. "Is there more I can do to help?"

Dante looked over at her husband, frowning deeply. "You remember that psychopath that abducted Nikolai three years ago? Well, it looks like he's at it again."
When they pulled up to the house, she quickly got out of the car and headed inside. Although she was concerned for Nikolai, she was more worried about her own daughter. It pained her to admit it, but Dahlia was not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, so it was likely that she did somehting stupid. If that bastard put a hand on her, she was going to see to it that he regretted ever being born.
Seeing Charlotte standing at the other end of the room, she rushed over to her. "Charlotte! Have you seen my daughter?"
Charlotte blinked, then nodded. "She's upstairs, I just checked on her a moment ago.. Is something wrong?"
"That young man who had been helping your husband broke into the house earlier. He escaped with Nikolai, and we don't know if he's alive," Dante explained to her, visibly relieved now that she knew her daughter was safe.
Charlotte paled at the news, raising a hand to her mouth. "Oh my..."

Officer Bob looked out the nearest window, and smiled when he saw the ambulance pulling into the drivway. "Finally.."

"You're telling me" Frank said when he saw the ambulance had finally arrived. He turned back to his partner and nodded slightly. "I'm going to take Mikey to the station, I'll meet you back there later" he said, leaving the room and walking downstairs. On his way to the squad car, he gave a short wave to the paramedics who had just arrived.

Envy had gone out of the house after getting some food, taking Gluttony along with him. He didn’t want to stay at the house longer then he had to seeing nearly everybody there hated his guts, and with good reason. He was simply leeching off the place, really, praying to the non-existant god that he wouldn’t bump into his mother each time he entered or that she wouldn’t find out otherwise. While sleeping out in the streets wasn’t exactly ideal, he’d probably be killed by her in his sleep if he stayed, or possibly Barry. She was still also quite unstable.
He eventually came back earlier then he’d like due to Gluttony’s complaints of being hungry, as per usual. When he saw Kimblee having a couple beers on the porch, he was relieved. Maybe he wouldn’t have to interact with any of the others after all. ”Heya Kimblee. Care if I join you?”. Gluttony, of course, just licked his lips and took a beer bottle without asking, beginning to chug it down. Envy rolled his eyes at him, but made not attempt to stop him. ”So I’ve been wondering. . .Why are you still here anyway? Seeing the warm reception I got, I imagine you aren’t exactly all that popular either. What makes you put up with the place? You’ve got a job and some actual cash. No reason for you to leech off this place like a scumbag like me.”. Envy’s high and mighty ego had been rather humbled over the years after having lost his power and being reduced to a mere leech. Of course, he wasn’t happy to talk about being reduced to such a pile of crap, but it was the truth, therewasn’t any denying that.

Roze watched him as he told her where the Scotch was. Hell, she was trying to be nice that time- after all, he had been trying to be nice too, which was a first for him. She sighed, looking to Barry and handing out her can of beer. "Hey, would you try heating this up for me without it exploding?" If he didn't take it, she'd set it down and shrug, hurrying off after Kimblee. "Um... sorry for my response earlier... I wasn't sure if you should be trusted, but with you being nice and all..." she trailed off, unable to find the words. She actually felt bad, as if she had hurt his feelilngs. That's when Envy walked up and started talking. "Envy... I guess people can't get past their initial thoughts..." It seemd that way for almost everybody- even her, judging from how she spoke to Kimblee earlier...
