Archer stood up and before the scarred man could totally pass out, he kicked him squarely in the face. Kimblee was rarely fazed by anything and even more rarely caught by surprise, but because of the confusion and cacophony in the cell, he'd been at a distinct disadvantage. Besides that, who the hell did this man think he was? Fanatical prick! He would have wiped away the now drying blood off Kimblees face, but that sort of thing irritated him and especially in front of other people, scum or not. He stooped back down where Kimblee was sitting and put an arm around his shoulders and waited to see what would happen to them. There was nothing more he could do at this point. He was sick, shaky and now unarmed. Thank goodness for Tucker. He knew from working with him in the past that he was a loose canon, but he could at least stand to be around him. He was quiet and unobtrusive.

The prisoner felt the world begin to churn about. Then he was kicked to the floor. Yet, despite all this, he just laughed. A soft, weak laugh. "You think...You've had some sort of vengeance?" He asked softly. "I've been...waiting for death...You've done me a favor, friend..." With another weak laugh, he slowly closed his eyes. (I have no idea if I'm supposed to be dead.)

Imagine that, Archer thought to himself. I started all this trouble and no one's even paying attention to me or Kimblee. Why we could probably just back slowly away and make a run for it, if I weren't so sick and if I still had a gun. He leaned down and whispered something into Kimblee's ear.

The guards had been observing attentively the entire time in complete and utter silence. More and more seemed to come in by the minute, either attracted by the noise or brought in by other guards. Some were eager to jump in and thrash the inmates, others were far too captivated in the scene unfolding before them. But none dared make a move - not without the permission of the old woman.
Dante stared at them for a few eerily silent moments, as if expecting them to lash out again. But deep down she knew they wouldn't -- not if they were completely surrounded by armed guards, at any rate. Believing the insanity done and over with, she stepped forward and looked down at the former military men with her cold, listless eyes.
"...You boys aren't very intelligent, are you -- actually thinking you could escape a maximum security prison? In case you didn't know, dears, no one has ever escaped from this prison. All your pathetic attempt earned you was my annoyance and the anger of all the guards standing before me," she said coldly, motioning to the quite irked guards standing behind her.
"Warden Mustang is quite a busy man, so I will be deciding on your punishments. But before we get to that -- Lyra, be a dear and take this prisoner to the infirmary," she ordered the dark-haired girl standing next to her with a small smile. Lyra nodded and, with the assistance of three other guards, lifted the scarred man and carried him off toward the infirmary.
"..And my hand to God, if that man is dead I'll see to it that you'll suffer punishments that would make the devil himself cringe in fear," she snarled at Tucker. "And there won't be a damn thing anyone could do to stop me, you homely little failure."
Attention turning back to Kimblee and Archer, she began again, "The psychopathic murderer is to be water-boarded and prodded a few times for good measure, then tossed into solitary confinement for the rest of the day. And the pale one gets off with a warning because I admire his courage - or is it stupidity? I really can't tell. But if it happens again, you'll be begging me for the sweet release of death. Do I make myself perfectly clear, gentlemen?"

Archer stayed at Kimblees side and glared up at the old woman.
".....You..BITCH!" he hissed between clenched teeth. "It would have been so easy to just let us have our little quarrel. But no, you weren't going to be happy until everyone in this cell block is doing the thorazine shuffle. How much easier it would be to just give the prisoners a little something now and then to pacify them. People doomed to death have nothing to lose. It was your lack of foresight that cost that mans life today. It's you who needs a good soaking and cattle prodding, not Kimblee. If you would have just given me some pain pills like I've been asking, I'd probably be having a nice opiated nod about now and you would be less one dead guard. I can't be blamed. I kill during wartime, it's my job! You though...you just ....get off on all this mayhem. I see it in your eyes."
"And dont expect that I'll just sit here and watch you drag my friend away without a fight. Oh, I don't expect to win, but at least I can say that I failed trying my best to win." He held Kimblee protectively although he was in no shape for a fight. The thought of what they would do...he shuddered.

[Awright. I am back to adjust my post. Thinking back to it, Scar, in biological values, you were actually never in danger Because your body mass index number is going to be in proportion to your actual size - that makes a LOT of mass (withouth you being chubby), which leads to the fact that TWO doses of tranquillizers are just the regular amount you have to get to be put to sleep. A third tranquillizer would perhaps do you some harm, but Tucker ain't got a third hand - fortunately for you ] [Ok, allow me to readjust the post in terms of 'The scarred man is towering above all us measly average sized folk' XD]

Simply shrugs shoulders at the threath. "It's a failure as well if a woman never bears children. Or did you ever?" Looks her over with the looks of the parent judging another one. "Great woman, I doubt you were ever good at it - raising children. They probably just ended living in the shadow of your greatness, trying and failing hard to get your attention. That's a failure too. In either case."

Archer quietly lead Kimblee back into the cell. They wouldn't be expecting that. He sat down next to Kimblee on the bunk and then rolled up some toilet paper and offered it to him to clean the blood off his face. "I'm afraid it's all there is. No such thing as a handkerchief in this place. The only other option is to use a sheet, but then it'll be dirty. They never give us clean ones OR let us wash them often enough." He quietly used his foot to slide the gun Scar had kicked away further under the bed. It might prove useful at a later date.

Martel's eyes widened in anger as she stared at the two men with whom she now had to share a cell with. "Bastards" she hissed at them, fixating her eyes on Kimblee. Why was she in here in the first place? Both she and Kimblee wanted each other dead, and usually they didn't like men and women sleeping in the same cell. So why transfer her?

Archer bristled when he saw the new inmate staring at them. Her eyes were full of hate and he knew why. Well, no matter, he had the gun. He surreptitiously reached under the bunk and slid the gun up his sleeve. He then slid it under the blanket.
"What are you looking at?" he challenged

"You know what he did to my friends" Martel shot back at Archer, pointing a finger at Kimblee. "And now those ****wads expect me to share a cell with him? Do they want us to kill each other or something?"

"Well, maybe your...friends, as you so call them, were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Tell me, where are your friends now? Bet they sold you down the river, didn't they?" he smirked.

"They're dead" she told him, shaking slightly in anger. All of them- Greed, Dorochet, Bido, Loa- everyone she had been close to. They were all dead, because of Kimblee.

Archer just chuckled quietly and shook his head. "Well," he said with a satisfied grin, "I guess if you can't run with the big dogs, you should stay on the porch."

Kimblee took Archer's offering, wiping the blood from his face. His gold eyes glared back at the snake chimera. "She'll be dead too if she doesn't stay out of my way."
... water-board? .... Shit.

"Causality, Martel."
He walks into the corner and slides down the wall - observing.
[Are the others still staring at us or is the cell already closed?]
