I sort of worry about the time thing. Since time isn't a physical element I don't think it is doable. I would rather stay in the laws of the anime and say that you need a physical element for alchemy. But wait for the other staff to bring up their thoughts on it.

Yeah, I have to say, I feel the same way. I don't think time can be transmuted. I mean, if you could control time, you'd be nearly unstoppable.

So, what your all saying is that one in the full metal world, that you would in fact need a physical agent to begin a transmutation right? well at that point you might as well ended the show at the first episode when Edward used his own blood to bind his brothers soul to a suit of armor, the soul plays a big part in the philosophy of the anime its self as well as the alchemy, but then again the soul has no physical shape or form, its exist with no real physical body but its always there right? The same concept goes for time as well, so by saying that it is impossible to manipulate time is the same as saying that its impossible to bind the soul?

It's a good point, however, some points that were brought up have been that if you can control time then you are too powerful. I think that was a good point that Martel made. And that is a different form of alchemy all together. It isn't a "regular" alchemy kind of thing. We would prefer if you just stayed away from the time thing. And since enough of us agree on that, it needs to be understood. We think you have an excellent application and would be accepted immediately if not for the time alchemy.

The only reason Ed was able to trasmute his brother's soul was because he had just seen The Gate. So he knew how to do that. But, if the bloodseal was damaged, Ed wouldn't be able to preform the trasmutation again. So, what I'm saying is, that was a one-time deal. If you can transmute time and it's your main attack- that's what we're against.

I'll have to think about it, i spent a lot of time with this character and his concept, i understand your point of view, however its going to be difficult to come up with a new original concept... =/

QuickLikeEdit: True, but just like human transmutation it would have its major drawbacks, and iv been working on this concept with others on a diffrent forum, so it needs to be edited here anyway, but like i said, ill need time to change this, work new ideas.

All you have to do is to make it so he can't control time...that's all

You could maybe have him use a type of alchemy that sort of....Makes it more difficult for people to get a hold of him. Other than that, I have no idea.

I know, but if im going to do an OC then i want to make him as original as possible, i was going to give him ice alchemy, but then i saw so many others on this site with the same thing, and i don't want to copy something from the show, ill change the time thing, i don't have much choice in the matter but ill need to think of something new, sorry about all of this [/i][/color]

it's fine, mistakes happen. That's why with OCs we make it a team decision...so that more eyes can see it
