Brigadire General Grand and Commander Clive Reynard had pulled up to the Liore hq, in the middle of Archer, Kimblee and Siran's little conversation. Gran watched Kimblee leave the office looking more tired than pissed, he obviously was too preoccupied to notice him or Clive. Gran listened in on the Colonel's little plan to give the girl a state alchemist license to furthur his own gain's. Gran liked the thought of a level headed man like Archer in charge, if he helped him make it maybe he'd set himself up to take it from him later, hell he'd sure rather fight Archer later than take on Bradley now.
The General had eavesdropped long enough, plus Clive had been distracted by a pair of hips so his smart comments wouldn't be a problem. Gran opened the door to Colonel Frank Archer's office and waved his hand to skip any kind of salute. "Colonel Archer...your a very ambitious man. But do you honestly think a man of your rank would be able to push this woman's paperwork through?" He asked as a devious grin crept it's way across his face. He was sure Archer was aware of his presence before he barged in but what could he say to a Brigadire General? Not a damn thing is what. "I'm willing to help you Archer...I'll have Commander Reynard here push her papers through with our recomendations. Just so long as you include me into your little scheme. Hows that catch you?"
Technically what Archer planned was treason and if he so felt it he could blow him away just on pure suspicion who would question him besides the Fullmetal pipsqueak? He knew he didnt have Archer cornered by a long shot but why make this hard. Clive had since made his presence known and oggled Siran. Even Gran had to admit the little harlot was attractive even if she was a worthless red eyed beast, but then again Clive was also of the same heritage, so it was understandable that he was attracted to her. Clive chuckled at the scene he witnessed, he knew it was wrong but after hearing that Bradley wanted the war to happen he figured it was time to get a new boss.
(OOC: whew sorry for the long post i just had to give some reason and insight for popping up)

Clive's radio crackled with a voice, the commander listened to the message and turned to Gran. "Sir I'm headed back to the ruins, turns out Issac is a stealthy guy. Miss Siran was it...if you assist me I'm sure it would make getting your papers waived much smoother." He didnt wait to be dismissed and ran off to make his way back to the Issballan ruins. whether or not Siran accompanied him was up to her. Gran did'nt mind and turned back to Archer. "So how about it Colonel?" (ooc:meh sometimes i need to rush a post or two)

Siran looked up when the others entered,as she said," I can assure you, that i will follow whatever Archer says, that was the agreement I made."
She sat down on the edge of Archer's desk, her face in the palm of her hand,as Clive asked for her to join him,"Kimblee took all of my weapons, and I can not use my alchemy if I activate a transmutation circle I will go boom, quite literally . So therefore all i have to offer,is being eye candy"

(A conspiracy brews! How delicious.)
Frank opened his mouth to respond to find a little if somewhat ugly surprise. The large and particularly dirty face of the Brigadier General Grand entered behind the girl, making him frown slightly. Much to his chagrin, the brigadier abandoned all form of subtlety and came in like a hammer on metal, intending to twist the Archer's blade into a angle that preferred him. The Lieutenant Colonel had always held mixed views upon the man. Oh, he was a powerful cannon Basque, but hard to aim. Thick too, both making him stubborn and somewhat stupid. None the less, the moron sought not detrack his train but rather was seeking to, if somewhat inelegantly, hop on board.
Still, it wouldn't hurt to be polite. "Tea?" He offered, attempting to give the look of an innocent host. He looked at Siran and hled up his hand. "You have nothing to worry about- As soon as Kimblee returns, I'll give have him remove his little lock. I trust you to be a survivor- One who takes opportunity." And that was the end of it. Frank believed her to be one who didn't live a miserble life when a better choice was right under her nose.
At last, he focused upon Brigadier General Grand. "Of course I do, general. If dear Zolf, a man of a more...black reputation would be approved by the military, why not this mere girl?" Chuckling, Frank shook his head slightly. Basque was forward, but he wasn't clever- He didn't bother to consider all the facts. Such a thing would get a man killed. If not for his alchemy, he would have been dead years ago. Alas, Archer did not have the fortune of this man being a corpse. "However, Sir...If you seek to be "Involved", then I will happily include you in our venture. Keep in mind though- The Fuhrer has turned a blind eye to my operations so far. If you seek gain through some petty betrayal of my trust, not only will you fail to see me hanged." Archer explained. "I will kill you." Threats did not get any more graceful then that. "Ah, such grim tidings...But yes, Grand, I will let you into our little scheme..." Basque was a badge- He had authority if poorly used. Archer would be able to push away certain elements from the high-ups. No, Basque wasn't a liability- not yet.

Clive looked her up and down, she was attractive for a blood loving psycho chick, but Clive; despite his hobby of flirting with every girl he meets, was quite attached to his fiancee no matter how ill she may be. "If we were alone together too long I think I'd do something I'd regret, Love." He said using his new pet name for her. "Reynard I need you here right now, stop trying to seduce her and pay attention. McDougall can wait for now." Grand said in a sharp tone, to which Clive simply smiled at. Grand turned his attention back to Archer, He waved off the tea impatiently. He'd almost hit the ground laughing when Archer laid down his threat, but the General simply smirked. "Archer as much as I'd love to see you try...and belive me I'd love to see it, it would be wise to keep things...pleasant between us, wouldn't you say? Commander tend to the girl." He said towering over Archer's desk.
Clive shook his head at how whenever the General got angry he'd try and use his size to intimidate people. This fun little move most likely won't even register across Archer's normally deadpan face, it was obvious clive was the brains pointing Gran's limited brain functions toward goals and such. He turned to Siran chuckling and drew a small blade from his great coat which he strangely enough was still wearing. He took off his right glove and flexed his hand.
"I'm assuming the tattoo on your pretty hands is your array right?" He said taking her hand gently and inspecting it. A slight spark jumped from his hand to hers, she was right he could feel the abnormal amount of ions in her hands. Not to be the one to mess up ones contingency plan he left the bombs active. His own red Ishballan eyes were tracing every line of her array in a quick study. His eyes drifted to her body more often than not, but that was expected of the Surge Alchemist. "How...exquisite. Don't touch anything for a second please." he murmured as he took off his other glove. He laid the blade down on the table and drew the array with small, precise bolts of electricity. Every so often he'd glance at her array as a reference to complete his work. In moments he'd recreated her array and burned it unto the blade. He sheathed the dagger and set it on her lap. "Consider it an initiation gift Love. I never use blades, my fists are more deadly than any pig sticker out there anyway. At least now you aren't helpless." He said putting his gloves back on after he waved the sparks away and removed his great coat. Clive lit a thin cigar ,he offered one to Archer casually for someone of his rank.
Gran shook his head at Clive's dramatics and turned back to Archer. "Whats that hotheaded Psychopath Kimblee doing here anyway? I thought I left him in that god forsaken laboratory." He asked the Lieutenant Colonel wondering what else the sly man had cooked up.

[Sorry Bido. Not deliberately ignoring Bido. Just lose track of who's talking to whom sometimes. I think Kimblee means to drag Bido along with he and Barry and Roze. If he chooses to come along ]

Siran watched the exchange of words back and forth, she smiled at Archer. She turned her attention to Clive," I doubt that because if I don't like the package i do not even go for the carrier. You have a nice package but I have my eyes on another one."
She smirked,as she knew the guy was sweet talking her, they all had,but they overstepped a line. Siran looked up at the words about killing," if it comes to that with him, could I do it,I could make him bleed beautifully."
Clive was examining her wrist,as she said,The circle carved into my skin is my array, and the tattoo on my other wrist,is the sign of a Homunculus I read about them in a book, and liked the symbol and decided to get it tattooed on me and one day hope that they actually will be real. "she looked at the knife as she,hid the knife within one of her braided buns. " Thank you."

Upon tagging along with Kimblee a short while to see if he had anything else to say before he went off to do his best Cornello impersonation, Envy had the pleasure of meeting back up with Barry. Going up to the suit of armor himself, he lowered his voice so the two ignorant military officers couldn’t hear him. ”Heh heh. . .You’re lucky, Barry. You get to stay and watch the fireworks. . .I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself. So long as you stay with Kimblee, you’ll have a front seat to watching all the action unfold as blood rains down from the skies. You really should’ve gone into alchemy. You would’ve been perfect. . .”.
He chuckled slightly as he went away from him, not giving him much chance to respond unless he wanted to blurt something out and alert Hawkeye and Havoc of what was going on. He finally acknoweledged the existence of Bido as he went over to him before he could talk to the tin can he’d come here for. ”You’re one of Greed’s, right? So tell me, how are things back at the bar?”. Envy figured he may as well get some info on how his “allies” were doing since Bido was so conveniently in Lior. He wondered why he was out here and somewhat to take out his old master.feared that Greed (And thus Gluttony) had been taken out. While he wasn’t terribly fond of the guy seeing he didn’t think of him too highly for many a good reason, he’d need as many people as he could get. Perhaps Kimblee could get in on it too? Doubtful he’d believe him or want to do anything about it. . .Though he could always promise him a bigger slice of the pie (The philosopher’s stones) in the end. That’d have to wait until Lior was destroyed, though.

(( Yeah poor Bido being ignored. It's okay don't worry. XP Bido's just tagging along with Kimblee for the moment and he has finaly found Barry through Zolfy, yay to that. So now he has two in one, he found Barry and he's probably gonna see Kimblee make some stuff go boom. Btw I'm leaving tomorrow for a vacation and I'll be gone for a week. I doubt I'll get any internet there though, so be warned. As for Bido, well could you dragg him along with Kimblee when I'm gone?))

[Sure thing. Looks like everyone's gone on vacation. I'll probably just wait rather than to drag every body on the thread along. Depends. I'll see what Barry says when he shows up]

Archer merely smiled. "All men have their uses, Brigadier General. Why imprison an eager soldier?" He could understand the man's reluctance at the idea of Kimblee free- after all, Zolf would hardly be friendly to the man who shut him up in that god-forsaken place. However, Archer knew that Kimblee was smarter then that- Hence why he was alive today. "I have received no complaints about Lieutenant colonel Kimblee's work." He explained, making sure the man understood the mans position- One could not get away with killing a ranked officer, unlike a common soldier. "At any rate, his former status as an inmate is irrelevant- After all, the gentleman did bring me this little lady."
Archer's gazed drifted towards the man assisting with Wraith, apparently an Alchemist. I do not recall seeing him before... Likely a green officer- With all these Scar killings and disappearances, rank was quickly changing within the military. The perfect time for a coup, of course. Still, they could not hurry things. If they make themselves too much of a target for the higher-ups, their little plan would be shot down. At the same time they must maintain a certain amount of mystique- When one expects corruption yet sees innocence, paranoia is bound to form. Grand was the weak-link now- If too loud, it could all crash. Luckily, he had no proof as of yet of Archer ideas. Witnesses could be liars, and he had given many contributions. Even if it was revealed that the head of intelligence was planning murders, Archer had faith that he could survive it.
He was too strong to fall. With a glow the alchemy came, sparks flying as he did his work. Archer watched silently, frowning as he did his work. A suspicion came to mind, one he did not like. "Pardon me, General, but who is your accomplice here?" He was oddly quiet during the proceedings so far- Oh, he enjoyed flirting it seemed, yet of the actual conversation he had done nothing. There were soldiers who knew discipline- And then there were those who used silence as a shield. ...He's not Sheska...Nor some grunt. The man was not afraid.

Grand glanced at Clive and turned back to Archer, obviously still pissed that Kimblee was able so see sunlight again. Clive obviously knew better than to wait for the Genral to properly introduce him so he simply did it himself. "Commander Clive Reynard. I'm sure your wondering how I'm such a high rank yet we've never met. I've been the one hunting AWOL state alchemists, and eliminating the ones we don't need for questioning, with your position im sure my reports have gone through your offices a few times in the past." He said, calmly shaking Archer's hand.
Grand scoffed signaling his impaticents with the current direction the meeting was going. "Sir if you plan on going through with this...I'll support you, the Colonel, and Miss Siran here 100 percent, but I'm going to have to ask you to be abit more subtle than you normally are." He asked as calmly as he did when he spoke to Siran. "Reynard, don't get too comfortable talking big to me. Don't forget who the Genral is here." Grand warned him. Checkmate, thats all Clive wanted to hear. "A General...who's planning TREASON. In the presence of a AWOL alchemist hunter...As far as I'm concerned I have every right to end your life right now." He said smiling.
"Are you threatening me boy?" Grand growled. "No sir I'm mearly warning you, that your more or less expendable. Besides...if you try to double cross this plan and run back to the top it's your shady word against mine , and Mr. Archer here. Plus iron is highly conductable by the way, you fighting me is suicide." He said matter-of-factly. Grand was almost red with anger. But he was right Archer was the head of the intellegence Department and Clive's hunter record was spotless and stellar, Grand had a record of being a hothead and WRONG for that matter...Despite his rank their word against his wasn't too good. "Fine I'll play nice. But mark my words Renard your going to regret talking to me that way." He said through clenched teeth.
Clive nodded and turned back to Archer. "Now if you will Colonel, please continue." He said softly. So now only three people knew of his classified job. He chuckled at how they might react towards him now that his record as a hunter was openly stated. Clive being the smart man that he is made sure that no devices were recording this meeting the moment he set foot in Archers room, by vibrating the electrons and making a makeshift chaff field in the office.

Roze walked some ways behind the group, so she didn't hear any of what was spoken, but she did notice the others. It was at that time that she walked back up, and bowed to the others. "I'm Roze Thomas," she said to the others, and looked to Zolf. Apparently, she was to go with him and Barry...? But... she didn't really like the feeling she was getting from this entire thing. She was certain that staying was a bad idea, but then again, neither was being stuffed inside armour. Oh, she's been inside armour before, but that was when she got in and positioned herself... and it was still uncomfortable. She sighed and walked with the man, wondering what it was that she had to be there for...

((I'M BAAAAAACK! YEAY. You bastids write too much xP))
Barry sighed inwardly as he watched Hawkeye carefully. She seemed at loss as well. He wasn't the type to know what to do in such instances, when everything just slowly crawled to a halt, and something drastic needed to be done to get things going again. Or...well, of course he knew, but it was the peaceful way of doing such things that he had difficulties with.
He sat bolt upright as he heard a voice adress them, and was relieved to see it was Kimblee, approaching them with quite the little gaggle of followers. He narrowed his eyes at Envy, but was just mildly curious about the two others, the young girl and the...bald midget. "Hey, where've ya been? Things were getting slow." He listened intently as Kimblee spoke to Hawkeye and Havoc. He bristled indignantly at what he heard. She leaving? Great. But why...? He glared grumpily at Kimblee, for being the one to order Riza away.
He glanced at the girl with the pink bangs, and frowned inwardly. Is she that important? She sure doesn't look like it... He hoped she was as harmless as she looked, he knew how uncomfortable it was to have someone inside him, and when his seal was in such a vulnerable position it was even more unsettling.
As the two Lieutenants left, he glanced at the small bald man. He seemed to have somekind of skin condition, from what he could see of his face. It reminded him of something...
He twitched irritably as Envy approached him, but his eyes widened in surprise at what the humunculus said. "Wha..." But the palmtree had already walked away, before he could say anything. What....was that about? He remembered faintly the talk Envy had had with Kimblee...about the Philosophers stone. He shifted uneasily. He now had an idea why Kimblee had ordered the two military officials out of Lior. But he was not happy with the fact that he apparently had to stay behind.

He could almost feel the air of wary bewilderment from all directions. He was grateful that Hawkeye was as stoic and solid as she was. 'Smart woman,' he thought, 'and a damn fine soldier, too'. She apparently appreciated the value of not questioning orders. After all, it was a maxim that thinking could get a solder killed.
Barry, Roze and Bido on the other hand...well that was another matter altogether. If anyone wondered why Roze had to tag along...well, they could wonder. He had his reasons. Sure, she was just one little gal, but she was one little gal who'd seen Envy transform, heard classified information in Archers office, and who know altogether too much. And to top that, she was likely an honest, good hearted girl who, out of a sense of honor and good will, would throw a wrench in the works and get herself killed in the process. The only logical alternative to bringing her along was simply to end her life for the good of his own cause. He could simply have Barry take her somewhere out of harms reach, but he didn't entirely trust that Barry could resist cutting up the pretty lady. And no one needed to know he was a softie when it came to sweet little gals like her.
He'd been far more indiscriminate about who he killed and when during the Ishbal campaign. He had been given carte blanche to indulge to his hearts content. It was war. This was more of a...private enterprise and he didn't need to draw unnecessary attention to himself. Even Archer's plans were covert at this stage. Not really the mans style, but he knew Frank would play the board patiently till he could launch a full-out offensive. 'So sorry Frank,' he thought wryly, 'I'm about to totally evaporate all purpose for quelling this little civil unrest.'
He turned to Bido, "So...you commin along for the show? I can get you front and center for this event." he smiled. He caught up with Envy for a last minute palaver, "So...you never told me," he asked, "just where, exactly, is ground zero inside this temple? Just tell me where to go, and I'll have Roze take me there. I'm pretty sure she knows the place inside and out."
And if she tried to lead them into a trap, he'd know it. He could smell a lie like a fart in a car. And innocents like herself can't hide lies well to boot.
