((Has Barry been inactive for that long? Whew, sorry bout that o.o XD yes, they'll be digging up computers and scanning their nearly intact hard disks and just be thinking: ".....WUT." xD nice little puzzles for them.))
Barry nodded in agreement, slightly pleased that his idea had been taken to so well. He'd dealt with religious people before, he knew the usual amount of worthless crap they normally spoke of, though if it helped them to shield themselves from the confrontations of real life, suit themselves. He followed the 2nd Lieutenant towards the town square still slightly selfconscious as always. He didn't seem to be getting all to much attention though, the people of Lior being happily content to mind their own doings, not noticing the massive hunk of metal in their midst.
He glanced back at Riza to assure himself that she wasn't lagging behind, or getting lost in the mass of people going everywhere it seemed. The amount of heavy sighs and foreheads being hurriedly wiped added to his suspicion of the current warmth. That was of course to be expected, it being a desert city and all, but it was slightly irritating that he himself had to rely on other people's reactions to confirm that. A sudden hiss of pain made him turn his head, and he saw a young girl carrying a basket gritting her teeth in surprise and massaging what looked like a small rash on her dark-skinned arm. He ducked his head sheepishly, moving quicker forward before she noticed him, as he realized she had accidentally brushed the metal on his arm. Actually, I should be grateful I'm not really in this thing. he thought grudgingly. I would've burned up like nothing.
He took greater care of avoiding bumping into people now that he knew the sun had warmed his metal plates. He didn't want to attract more attention.

"Just a bit... but I don't mean to complain or anything..." Sheska said, looking up at him sheepishly, "I'm just not used to eating so much..."
The Lieutenant fought her way through the crowd. SHe hated to admit it, but it was hard maneuvering around. She kept her eyes on her companions as she moved around.

As Barry glanced back again, he noticed with some concern that Riza did indeed seem to be having difficulties in keeping up. He slowed, lagging behind on purpose and raising his elbows slightly, making himself bigger horizontally. The following grunts of surprise and discomfort from the people around him made him narrow his eyes slightly, but he didn't budge until the mass of people around him automatically steered away slightly from the burning heat of the metal plates, not even bothering to investigate what had caused the sudden rise of tempreture.
Riza was now close enough behind him to gain benefit from the gap of people around him, so she wasn't buffeted by the tide of humans around them. He turned his head, still holding his arms up against his body. "That better hun?"

Wrath made up his mind what he would do,he would follow the group,he believed Envy was following. He stopped and then changed it,as he smelled something sweet.
All evil plotting went out of his head,he would tail the bird,he thought was Envy,he was not totally sure, just guessing. At least it was not a babysitter.
Siran's eyes looked around her as she exited from the shadows, she would have vengence for her family. She decided following the group, she would act like a lost travellar looking for her way. She walked behind the group,as she pulled down the sleeve and looked at her right wrist. The circle which was her own marred skin reflected back at her. She was not sure if she would kill Kimbley or do something worse. She was still debating what the worse would be,and others that got in her way she would deal with them. She looked at her ourobos tattoo and smirked,"maybe I can get close by talking to him in priovate and pretending to be researching Homunculi."
She walked behind them,as she took a breath, and acted lost,as she followed them, she was about ten feet behind them, she kept her hood on,it was mostly to hide her eyes, but others would thing she was avoiding the sand.

"If you need to stop and rest, you just let me know," he reassured Sheska. "And speak up if you get thristy too. We gotta go sparingly with it though, it was the only one they had."
He walked at her side. "By the way, how did Frank get you here?" he asked. Good question. Did he make her trudge on foot, or was she dropped off?
He heard a 'whish, whish' sound of someone approaching through the sand. It was Roze, the girl who'd joined them for lunch. She seemed a bit anxious. He smiled at her.
"So...that explains the being watched feeling." he said, then listened to her explanation. He shielded his eyes and looked up to see a bird circling. "You sure about that Roze? It's awfully high up there...could be any bird. Maybe it sees us as easy pickins', couple a fools in the dessert likely to drop from heat exhaustion."
It was more to reassure her than himself. He knew it could simply be a bird, just like it appeared, but it could also be Envy, who said he'd be showing up anyhow. That's fine, they had things to discuss, and since the homunculus thought nothing of showing up in front of Havoc and Riza, Sheska wouldn't likely be a deterrent either.
But, that was just Envy. He had no reason to not make a grand entrance. Anyone close enough to hear was expendable, so there was no reason to hide. Which made the work all the easier for Envy, because it would be he, Zolf Jay Kimblee, who would have to cover tracks...or dispose of people who were inconvenient enough to pass within hearing distance.
He'd have to make an excuse to Frank for why Sheska should stay at the HQ just outside the desert. He didn't want her in Lior when the shit hit the fan. And he certainly didn't want her seeing any of the atrocious things he'd have to do in the coming days. She apparently knew he was the Crimson Alchemist and it didn't bother her....much. But if she saw with her own eyes? Yeah...then it was real. He could pretty much hang up his chances if she saw.
He was dealing with homunculi now, and that meant he was pretty much a meat puppet, a tool. They not only had uncanny powers, on par with his transmuting ability, they also possessed uncanny physical strength. He knew when he was outgunned. Best to stick with the side that's winning, and make an out as soon as he could, like he had with the Devils Nest. If he didn't benefit them in any way, he'd just be another ingredient for the stone when they found someone who could make one. Might as well be him, right?....Right. If it cost him Sheskas growing respect and friendship? Well...how was that different than any other day?
He'd also have to be careful about getting too friendly with the natives. He had a weakness for people who seemed to accept him or even like him, despite his 'horrid atrocities' But that's only because for those people, it hadn't been in their backyard. So far, only Sheska, Havoc and Riza knew about his checkered past. Havoc and Riza tolerated him well enough, even laughed if he did something funny, but no...when all this was over, they'd drift back to their own circle of friends and forget about him, probably with a deep sigh of relief. Best that way...for all their good.
When he handed the canteen to Sheska, he saw a figure walking in their direction. Likely a woman. What was this? A desert caravan? He looked up and saw the bird circling still. Well maybe the bird was a bird, and this was envy approaching. That was most likely, although far less flamboyant than his usual approach.

Jean trudged on, the heat really starting to get to him. This would mean that they'd need to take frequent breaks, not wanting to suffer heatstroke and jeopardise the mission. He glanced behind him, stopping in his tracks as he saw that Barry had postponed his own movement. Just past the metal bulk he could see the blonde hair of Hawkeye, struggling slightly with the crowd, understanding why Barry had made himself bigger.
The 2nd lieutenant didn't really have any problems with crowds, he was the type that could blend in when needed and easily make his way around. Taking a drag from his cigarette, he smiled brightly as a few kids stared at him from nearby the water fountain. They obviously weren't used to his hair colour, it not being common in this area. "Everything alright?" He asked as the other two caught up, blowing out smoke as a sudden gust blew past them all, sand and dust causing him to shut his eyes for a moment. That was another thing to hate about the desert, sand. And not just any sand, no, HOT sand. But what would you expect with the sun beating on it all day, every day?
"We'll try the grocery store first." He informed then, running a hand through his hair to dislodged the sand as it would surely irritate him later. At a slower pace than before, for their sakes, he headed towards the wooden building, pushing open the clap doors. A greeting reached his ears, the store keeper and the customers eyes all on them as the strange looking group of three stepped into the dark lit, yet cool shop. "Afternoon."He nodded his head towards the onlookers with a friendly smile, glad to have snuffed out his cigarette outside. He turned to Hawkeye, giving her a simple look before motioning ever so slightly to the storeowner. He was an older man, still cautiously eyeing Jean and Barry. He wanted her to work her charms on him, check for information, as she seemed to have better chances. "Let's look for some fruit Barty."He grinned heading towards what seemed to be mangos.

Barry looked up at Havoc's question, and nodded. "Yeah. Just helping out when I can." He replied cheerfully. Only one who knew what he was capable of would have realized how odd it sounded.
After some time, they reached the small store, and on Havoc's impulse they entered, the room being much less illuminated than the streets outside. Barry shifted, watching Havoc for further instructions. This was all new to him...he was the loner, the one who did stuff himself. Of course he could take orders, and be loyal enough, but it wasn't really in his nature. Neither was leadership, which he was glad to know would never be bestowed on him by people in their right mind.
"Yeah...fruit." He glanced at Hawkeye just to once more be absolutely certain that she was ok, before sidling after Havoc, trying to avoid to bump into anything or anyone for that matter.

Envy waited as Kimblee’s group proceeded ever further from the city, eventually becoming satisfied with how far they were from the city. . .Nobody from there could possibly see what was going on. . .But his attention was more drawn to the other two people approaching Kimblee and his girls. The brat, who was more likely then not Wrath, and the hooded figure. He’d rather not show himself to Kimblee in front of them without first confirming the hooded figure was not with Dante, and he most certainly didn’t want to show himself to Wrath. . .While he could kill him quite easily, much less with Kimblee’s assistance, killing him would just be telling Dante where he was when he didn’t return back to her. Then again, he was getting impatient with the transmutation of Lior. . .Wrath’s stones would make a fine meal. . .

Wrath kept his head down only checking every now and then that he did not lose the bird,he stopped and looked around him. Not good,he had gotten himself lost in an unfamilar town.
He looked at the bird, and glared at it,he could use his alchemy but that would draw attention to him and scary lady probably wanted him to be discrete. If he could only pull off pulling them all in,Envy already believed him to be a dimwit.
No one else was here, just him. Envy was not gonna run back and tattle on him. Wrath stood taller,as he looked toward the bird,as he clapped his hand, and pressed his palm to a building causing it to become mangled. Perhaps he could draw enough attention away from the bird,to give a fellow vying for freedom comrade a head and cause it to look like he made a mistake.
Siran caught up to the group with ease. She looked at them all,and said in a neutral sounding tone,"I am Siran Shadowslayer, I have been travelling for a while and gotten myself turned around, could I perhaps travel with your group,at least i will not be alone."
She hoped the sweet girl lost act would sucker the others in, under her hood her red eyes looked towards Kimbley. She sighed,as she moved her head toward the ground, and unknowingly smirked. As she lifted her head, she then added,"I guess it is hard to trust someone that will not show thier face."
She slowly pulled the hood back her head bowed the first thing revealed was her braided white blonde hair, she lifted her head and looked straight at Kimbley, with a smirk, she opened her eyes to show the red eyes.
(( OOC: With Wrath,I always thought he was smarter than he let on and so that is how I intended to play him. I need to read more up on what alchemy he can perform,I hope I did it right.)

'Howmany helpless damsels in distress are gonna fall out of the sky today?' he wondered with growing irritation.
"That's goddamn right," he answered her in a testy tone of voice, regarding the lack of trust. "But it aint your hidden face, doll. Ain't every woman walkin' around with a name like 'Siren Shadowslayer'," he made the quote unquote sign with his fingers.
He sneered and his eyes flared up in anger when he saw the red eyes. 'Great...' he thought, 'a grudge that wants settling.'
He removed his gloves quickly and clapped his hands together, and stooped, pressing them to the ground. A flash of lighting skittered the short distance between them and a small flash explosion sent sand into her face and eyes.
He wasted no time, whipping off his belt and closing the distance between them. He punched her hard, knocking her to the ground, after which he flipped her over and secured her hands with the belt as tightly as he could. "I've had all I can take for one day, sugar," he sneered into her ear as he sat his full weight on her back.
He then proceeded to pat her down roughly, not excluding her backside. "Don't take that personal, babe." he said as he did so. In the process of searching her, he found knives, sharp pointy ninja stars and what's this? Poison! Surprise, surprise, surprise! He roughly flipped her over on her back and removing his pocket knife, he ripped her pants, from thigh to ankle and removed all the hidden weapons there as well, tossing them angrily into the sand, every which way.
A man could only stand so much before he lost it. Even the best of men...and he was not the best of men. Not by a long shot.
"Word of advice, doll face..." he said, "If your gonna play cloak and dagger..." with that, he activated his arrays and burned the shape of his tattoos into her shoulders, squeezing roughly, teeth bared in an ugly snarl, eyes wide and lit with blood lust. "Then use a fake name to go with the little girl lost routine." He yanked her to her feet, not unloosening the belt and spun her around, shoving her back in the direction of Lior. "Your sen-sai deserves to get his ass kicked for his pitifully inadequate lack of teaching ability. And you're gonna require a good plastic surgeon. Get lost!"
He muttered curses under his breath as he gathered the weapons out of the sand, stuffing the pockets of his now drooping pants. He glared at her hatefully. There was one, and only one reason she wasn't roadkill.
He sighed and glanced uneasily at Roze who looked shell shocked, and a sharp pang tore him as he saw the stark fear on Sheskas face. "I'm sorry....I had to...she would have...and maybe you would have been..." he stammered desperately. "Sheska you know...I..since the library..." he tripped over his words with an agonized look on his face, grabbing thin air for anything to salvage the situation. His breath hitched slightly as the desperation grew and he finally got out in a frustrated and desperate tone, "Awww...lady bug!" and cupped her face and gave her a firm kiss.
He turned away, his eyes growing stony and hard and walked. "Come on..lets move out fast before I get everyone killed." He wished Barry were here. Hell...he could stash Roze inside his armor and carry Sheska with his lack of bodily fatigue. Then they could at least sprint the rest of the way there.

After she had revealed her face, she growled as sand flew in her face and eyes. before she had a chance to recover from that she was tackled it seemed.
"How did you know,I liked it rough?" she joked,as he flipped her over and fastened her hands together with the belt. As he started taking her toys away, she growled as she said," Cloak and Dagger,I wanted you too see me,my sensei as you put it was murdered when i was ten."
When he burned the symbols in her shoulders instead of screaming in agony, she moaned in pleasure. As he shoved her back towards Lior, she stopped,as she used her fingernail, and blindly scratched a circle near her wrist,a breif flash of light and the belt melted dropping to the ground, then turning solid again.
She watched as he went back to the small group and hurried thier pace. She stood and discarded the cloak completely standing in the arcaic like outfit she had. She ran till she was a few lengths behind them,as she started humming sounding deranged as all get out,she made a circle in the sand with her fingers,as she touched the sand with one hand, and the other she touched the two circles together,as the sand quaked then rippled,as it started acting like quicksand, turning liquid around them. She let them get to thier waist before she stopped.
She had let the little love birds have thier moment. She walked over to them,as she said in a sultry voice,"She personally I have nothing against Alchemist,I only have something against Kimblee here. Everyone knows about Ishval, goodness knows I do,it was all my mother talked about the massacre and how she was lucky she survived." she stopped,as she rubbed her finger along the circle she had carved into her skin.
"Anyways,my father Kevin, took in my mother and fell in love with her. They lived on the outskirts of Central,my father was a small time alchemist. For years we lived in peace, till one night after I had turned ten, my dad hid me in my secret room and sealed it with alchemy. When I opened the door the next day, my parents bodies lie on the floor, they looked like they had exploded. Thier murderer was teamed a hero for killing a traitor. The End." she said.
She grabbed the girl's hands,as she pulled them out of the sand. She walked towards Kimbley,as she leaned down and whispered, " I know your little budding romance partner might not connect the dots, and eithier will the other one,I could leave you here then I would be loosing the chance to really have fun,oh I plan to make you pay,but for now, I am going to tell you as he travel to headquarters about the two people you murdered. Try and use your alchemy again, and I will make you a living statue,it is not very fun,but they bleed so beautifully when you kick them down." she had drifted into the more insane part of her brain. She shook her head,as she offered him her hand ,"Take it before I change my mind and make the sand swallow you up."

Envy would’ve raised a brow had he been in a more humanoid form as he watched Wrath seemingly get lost. . .In the middle of nowhere in the desert when there was little else to follow after, going off trail. Perhaps he wasn’t actually Wrath after all? But then he did some sort of alchemy on a building in the distance that he wandered off to. . .It was as if he was trying to tell him who he was. This irked him considerably. . .Either Wrath knew the form he’d taken and trying to lure him over, or he was completely ignorant of him and just using his alchemy carelessly. Envy assumed the former, underestimating Wrath as usual.
Envy’s attention quickly shifted to the assassin’s pathetic attempt to try to kill Kimblee. Envy chuckled to himself slightly as he watched how brutally Kimblee handled the woman. . .He certainly had his way with girls. . .He’d definitely made the right decision with him. . .But then he went and kissed Sheska? That killed the otherwise beautiful moment. . .Bah humbug.
When Siran did something or other with her alchemy, Envy questioned if he should go down to help him or not, considering how badly he needed him. Still, he doubted Kimblee would need any help, considering how brutally he was assaulting her earlier, and he still didn’t want to reveal himself until Wrath was gone, still believing that he was just an ignorant child.

Waist high in sand, he propped his elbow and lay his head on his hand, and looked extremely bored, even making a mock yawn and giving her a dead-pan look.
He laughed as she told him the 'hero' part of the story. "Hero? You're joking!" he chuckled and turned his eyes upward at her with a feral grin. "I hardly think heros, as you so poetically put it, get locked up for nearly a decade, shackled and sodomized by pervert guards."
He clapped his hands and grabbed her by the wrists, since she'd been foolish enough to leave his hands free and come within whispering distance. "Go ahead...do your worst," he said indifferently, tightening his hand on her wrist enough to hurt. Then he loosened a bit. "Oh I forget, you like it rough...well...pardon me for not indulging your kink, princess."
"Only a complete idiot would take an assassins hand, especially one who has me on their shit list." he added with a malicious gleam in his eye, "Not without insurance, anyhow. If you raise a hand to me? I kill you. If you kick me? I kill you. And if you try to use alchemy?" his grin widened, "Well, little girl...I just activated an eensy weensy time bomb in that trim little body of yours. All the water in your body, all 70 percent of it, is 2 parts hydrogen. Every...single...molecule. Very....very explosive. If you make a transmutation, all the energy that circulates through your body will trigger a reaction that separates the oxygen from the hydrogen molecules. Wanna see the result? Just give it time and you got a front row seat to your own death."
He released her hands and cracked his knuckles. At this point, all bets were off. He had nothing to lose and death might be a welcome release, but not today. "Now....you just think about that...while you give me a hand." he finished, extending it out with a dangerous glare.
If that bird above was Envy, he was probably enjoying the show too damn much to interfere...bastard.

Wrath watched Envy stay in the form as he said,"idiot,I give him something to cover his change and he does not even recognize a diversion. Did the others not inherit brains.
How could he convey what he was doing to Envy,he just walked back towards the town,as he rubbed his forehead,"i seriously need to weed out the weak minded ones." he said.
Looking in Envy's direction,he said in a low voice,"Humpty dumpty sat on a wall,Humpty dumpty had a great fall." he said as he walked off. His dark hair in a ponytail,as he cursed under his breath.

Siran's eyes looked at him,as she pulled him out,"so you finally took the last thing my father left me. They only but you in prison, because you were the only one that new the real reason behind the massacre."
She then showed him the other side of her wrist where she had carved the transmutation circle. In a young sounding voice, she said "what of ones that are already on my body" she was not sure how his form of Alchemy worked.
"I am not an assassin,I kill only those who get in my way,I hardly use alchemy unless i am pissed off enough to. I enjoy killing only because I like seeing the different way blood flows from different wounds,it was just a brief discovery I came upon, and then everyone referred to me as The Crimson Princess." she let out a breath,so which way to we go. her tone was neutral, sounding bored almost, any other alchemist sees me I will be killed because they will believe I am a full Ishballan."

Envy remembered back to his original idea of what he thought when he first saw Wrath alone. . .That he’d defected from the homunculi. Why else would he randomly use alchemy and be following after him? It was as if he was signaling for him or something. . .He was beginning to get rather curious as to just what Wrath was doing and his current alignment. While it would tell Dante where he was if he killed Wrath if Wrath was indeed still working for her, Wrath obviously seemed to know he was in eagle form anyway. He had little other reason to be randomly following an eagle. . .
Envy was unsure of what to do, but ultimately his curiosity got the better of him. It’d be a shame that he couldn’t watch the great show with Kimblee “handling” his women, but time was running short before Wrath would get too close back to Lior to transform without being in vision of the city, so Envy had to decide quickly. Rather torn, he sighed inwardly as he swooped down in front of Wrath and turned into his main form. ”You wanted to see me? It’s been a while, Wrath. Just what the hell are you doing here?”
He was still in vision of Kimblee's group, but he was going to show himself to them eventually anyway, so he didn't particularly care.

Wrath looked at him,adn smiled as he answered him,"Scary Lady sent me," he voices was childish and then it changed," and seriously did you never hear of a diversion,I had a feeling you would need to transform sooner or later, and so Dante's radars would focus on me I Mangled that building."
Wrath looked at him," I am tired of being led around to be a lamb to the slaughter, she was probably only sending me here to become part of the Philospher's stone." he ran a hand through his hair.
" If you need to see someone else,I will just wonder around and play the part, tell me,when you saw me you believed me to be a mindless child,Sloth,my relationship to her is only because the part of me that is Edward sees his mother in the features." he stretched as he scratched" human clothes itch a little."
"if you do not want to be caught, right now might be the best time to move, because I do not know when she will send others, she wants you brought back alive, that is all i know on your part." He paused each time before he spoke again.

Envy raised his brow. ”You over estimate Dante. She can’t sense me whenever I change. I generally have to force myself to not think too much of her, but you. . .You’re treating her like a fucking god.”. Envy sighed. ”So are you breaking free too then? I wasn’t sure, which was why I didn’t come to you earlier. I figured you could’ve just been baiting me into a trap or something. . .Anyway, I won’t be staying here that much longer. . .Cause soon there won’t be anything left. I’m gonna turn this whole damn city into a philosopher’s stone, and I’m gonna claim our freedom from the old hag with it. If you behave like a good boy, I might give you a slice of the pie. . .I want you to just keep pretending to be with them for now and keep a look out to see if any of the others come. If any of them arrive, tell them that you’re positive I’m not here based off your watch. Alright?”.
Envy questioned if he should be trusting Wrath as much as he was. . .Then again, he apparantely was more intelligent then he let on. He’d been underestimating him earlier. Then again, this whole damn thing could be a massive mindgame on his part to lure him out. He could possibly simply be pretending to of defected from the homunculi. . .Good god. This was far too complicated.

Kimblee cringed inwardly as Siran spoke openly about her blood fascination in front of Roze and Sheska. True...it was pretty much all over but the shouting at this point, but it only dug deeper the hole that his chances with Sheska were now falling into.
"Crimson Princess, huh? Ouch, that must really hurt." he said dryly.
"It doesn't matter.." he continued with some irritation, "you could have arrays between your butt cheeks to slap together. Energy is energy. The same basic energy is used by every single alchemist to do any form of transmutation. And for your information, I didn't activate my 'time bomb' on your arrays...i activated them on your body, period."
Roze and Sheska seemed to be falling a few feet behind and he didn't like that. He supposed because of their general goodness, they felt safer with each other than near him or the assassin.
"Now...you be a good girl and walk a few paces ahead of me...where I can keep my eye on you. I can hear just as good a few feet behind as standing right next to you." he said as he dropped behind to let the other ladies catch up. "Thanks to your untimely intervention...I have salvaging work, if that's even possible. So yeah...you took something from me, and I returned the favor..that's equivalent exchange. Ya think?" he said sarcastically.
"If I can salvage this situation, then I just might dismantle the time bomb. It'd be in your best interest to subtly curry favor with the ladies...you know, lay the blame on yourself for this whole mess."

((OOC: There is a cussword in here but it is still PG-13.)) Wrath looked at Envy,"i am not treating that woman like a god, she's a menace. If you had been listening I told you that i was doing that anyways, pretending to have not seen you,and let them go with their thoughts, that wrath is a halfwit, considering who my mother was you should have known that was not the case." he said.
Envy had a plan, and Wrath then added,"Ok,I will follow your plan, but we need others to help us even with the philospher's stone."
She looked at him,as she said,"I taught myself Alchemy,so I do not know everything, someone killed my teacher. Equivilent exchange my ass,you took something from me first."
Her red eyes were a mixture of anger and sadness,as she started to walk in front of him,"Do not mention about the time bomb thing, and tell them I am an old comrade and we were doing a little combat training and sorry for any misconceptions that they had pulled from it." she said.
She smirked as she walked,as she flipped him the bird as she walked. She made sure she was walking where her hips swayed,if they were headed to a head quarters, perhaps she could sneak away and kill a few of them. Anyone that worked for the state was her enemy, even Zolf's love interest, she was innocent and Siran would let her live.
