1.) Character Name -- Russell Tringham
2.) Character Bio -- Russell has the tendency to come off as a jerk and with a bit of an ego over his ability to perform, both with alchemy and physically. Generally though, it's a simple facade he puts up, as most people do, to keep the real emotions hidden. Although, truth be told, he occasionally enjoys being a total ass. He was, at one point, obsessed with continuing the work his father left behind but since has focused on bettering himself at alchemy. His focus for the future is to see if he can’t get himself more involved with what’s going on in the ‘underground’ of the country.
3.) Relationships with people – Fletcher Tringham: Obviously he adores his little brother, even if he’s not always willing to listen to him. (I noticed that Fletcher was no longer on the list of available characters, is there a way to contact the person that’s playing him, or was he simply not added to the list?) Edward Elric: Between them there is certainly some tension but also, Russell deeply respects him on some level. The general population get’s the worst side of him, only the close few don’t have to worry about being eaten alive with a snarky comment, or rude shrug.
4.) Likes: Alchemy, getting into fights, research and his brother.
5.) Dislikes: Losing –arguments or fights-, being busted for impersonation, inability to afford the materials he requires.
6.) History of the character – Since his encounter with the real Elric brothers, Russell had been attempting to balance studies, alchemy training under a former state alchemist, and a job to support himself (and Fletcher?) But since the completion of his training he’s been wondering the country in search of permanent work and doing odd-jobs for any sort of cash he can find. He’s still unsure of what exactly he’s looking t do but he knows that there’s something amuck with the country and is following any information he can get from a few friendly contacts in military intelligence. Fletcher’s involvement simply depends.

1.) Why do you want to be this character? Well, he is one of few left that particularly interest me and a couple reasons for this are: One, it should be interesting to role play him because he really is egotistical and sort of a jerk and I find it sort of fun to be that for a while a day; another reason is he’s an interesting character on his own but there really isn’t much of him so expanding the character should really be enjoyable.
2.) How far are you into the Anime? I’ve watched the anime, and the movie, three times to date (and a few episodes much more often) so I’ll be careful about spoilers and not worry about any for me.
3.) How far are you into the Manga? I’ve read all of the Manga that’s been released so far, including the chapters that have only been released in magazines.

Russell sighed, looking around at the desert surrounding him. It would be a long ride, sitting in the open back of an old, dinged up pickup-truck. It’d been a long time since he could afford to take a train, or pay for proper transportation by carriage. Lately, the jobs had been scarce and the towns few and far between. It bothered him that he couldn’t support his younger brother, who was still too young to be anything more than dependant on him. He plastered on a smile as he looked over at the younger man seated next to him, it was hard to keep a brave face when he wasn’t sure where their next meal would come from. But with a hint of smug, arrogance he could reach over and pat Fletcher’s shoulder and say, “Maybe you should get some sleep, I’m sure we’ll be busy when we get to the next town.”
