"Father Cornello...are you saying you are still with that cheat?" Ed asked in disbelief. "I thought I discredited him enough for you!" He exclaimed to the men with the gun.
HUGHES
Hughes didn't know exactly what Ed was talking about, but he wasn't sure Ed was going about it the correct way. "Ed, are you sure..." Hughes said as a sweatdrop appeared on his head.

The two men gasped in suprise. *So it was you, who discredited him weeks ago?* They both stoped aiming at the pair. The man continued: *We have an open rebelion here, because Cornello assassinated our leader. Sadly, many people of Lior still follow him.* He looked at Ed suspectly. *And what is your bussiness here? Have you come to aid us in fight, shortie?*

Ed became enraged ((I love my Ed rants)) at the word shorty. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SHORT THAT THEY ARE TOO SMALL TO BE A DWARF!" He shouted at the men.
HUGHES
Hughes had a sigh of relief as the two men were talking. However, when Ed began his rant, he closed his eyes and shook his head. That is not what he said Ed... He thought. Hughes liked Ed like a brother, but he seemed to overreact a lot with this short thing.
Hughes stepped closer to the two men, "We are here to gather all the information we can get on the recent explosion here. If you can tell us anything." He explained to the men.

Both of men stepped backwards, when Ed started to scream in fury. *I didn't say that,* told the man weakly.
But the second man turned to Hughes in amazement. *You ask about a recent explosion? We are in a middle of civil war! There were about fifty recent explosions! We have hundreds of dead and wounded!* He calmed down a bit and started to speak coldly. *It's all that damn priest's fault! *

Ed gained his composure as the man spoke, "Civil...war?" He asked. "How is it Cornello's fault?" Ed inquired hoping to get as much information as he could.
HUGHES
Hughes was also wondering how a priest could cause civil war, "Please tell us, the state is willing to help." He explained to the men.

*Well, it all started with this fellow,* the man aimed at Edward Elric. *He discredited Cornello in front of all Lior. Even if he continued with everything, lot of people started to doubt him. And then that explosion!* Man suddenly turned very angry. *He killed our leader, murdered him like a fraud he is! So we fought back! But still, half of Lior is still supporting him! You...* he turned to them in hope. *You could help us?*

Hughes nodded, "We will have to get some reinforcements though." He explained. "We will have to go back to central and get all the information to the other officers and see what we can do." Hughes explained to the men. "Unless there is any other information you can give us?" Hughes asked.

Man noddod. *I don't know much, though. The supporters of Cornello control the west of city, we control the east. A heavy fighting is going on. But a wierd thing is, that nobody has seen that fraud for days. He must be hiding in his precious temple, that coward!*

Ed was very confused as to why some people still followed him. Also that the town had gone into civil war because of Cornello. "Ok, we will do what we can." He told the men. He turned to Hughes, "Let's head back..." He told his friend.
HUGHES
Hughes nodded, "yes, let's go." He turned to the men, "Thank you for the information, I am sure Central will send people here immediately." He said with a smile, "Oh, incidentally, this is my beautiful daughter!" He exclaimed as he flashed a picture of Elicia.
EDWARD
Ed shook his head in shame as Hughes showed his pictures to complete strangers, "Let's go Lt. Colonel..." He said as he grabbed Hughes by the hand and led him off.
