The dog recognized the large metal human and barked happily at him. He didn't leave Ed's side though, nervous about the other dog who lived here.

Ed looked down at the smaller dog. He knew that Hayate was worried about something. He knelt down and looked at the dog. "Do you smell another dog here?" He asked, "Well don't worry...Alexander is a nice dog..." He reassured Hayate.

Winrey followed Ed into the house. "Hey Al, Hey Mr. Tucker, I am back!" Hopefully it will be less boring this time with Ed here. she thought. "Yea , you all should come along. It will be fun. I bet Nina would love it. "She noticed the how nervous the little puppy looked so after Ed spoke to it , she scooped the cute little puppy into her arms.

Hayate wagged his tail weakly at Ed, but was still unsure. When Winrey scooped him up, he felt much safer, now being sure he was out of the other dog's reach. He cuddled up in her arms and licked her cheek, still looking around the strange house.

Ed listened to his little brother, "Ok, we can talk when we get to the park. The others will be to distracted to notice you and I walking off." He whispered back.
He looked at the others, "Are we ready?" He said with a grin.

Winrey looked over at Ed and Al whispering. I wonder what they are whispering about , they look really serious. I hope nothing bad has happened. I wish they would share more with me about whats going on.Ed's voice broke her thoughts.
"Sure Ed!" She set the adorable little puppy that was curled up in her arms back on the ground. " Come on boy, lets get you some exercise."

Ed smiled to Winrey and turned back to Tucker, "Are you going to come with us? I mean you, Nina, and Alexander?" He asked as he looked to the little girl and the big dog that had just entered the room.

The small dog whimpered as Winrey set him back down on the ground. He pawed at her leg to pick him back up. Then the girl said something about getting exercise, and his tail began to wag. He gave one bark and started for the door.

Al turned to Black Hayate to pet it while Mr.Tucker decides on what to do.
Sure the Colonel gives out weird tasks. Hope brother wasn't too angry.

Is not really present in thought with the happenings in the house, but comes back after Nina starts to pull enthusiastically at his hand and squeals happily her desire to go to the park.
Tucker just nods his approval for Nina and Alexander to go along with the others. Then he stops to think and at last agrees to come along as well - he wonders if Ed and Al have some news or new materials concerning the philosophers stone. It would be vital for his research.
