(This is partially a copy/paste of my previous application. I will update the writing sample to fit the newer template, and update her information to fit the manga character [that is the one I prefer] but please let me know if any other requirements have changed.)
1.) Izumi Curtis
2.) Izumi is one of the most powerfull alchemists in the series, and can preform alchemy without a transmutation circle. She is also a very skilled martial artist, and was able to fight off Ed and Al's attacks while reading a book when they were training with her. She is proud to be called a "Housewife". She has blue eyes, black hair, and a tatoo of her crest on her shoulder.
3.) Relationships with people -- Teacher of Edward and Alphonse Elric. She cares for them, but often physicaly assaults them as a result of thier stupidity/carelessness/foolishness. She is married to Sig Curtis, and they have a loving relationship. She and Sig live with Mason, thier assistant.
Likes -- Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, Alchemy
Dislikes -- The fact that Ed and Al made the same mistakes she did
6.) History of the character -- In her younger age, Izumi was under the instruction of the Silver Steiner. She spent a month in the Briggs mountain range to show her master that she was worthy of his training. But, after she completed the task, the Silver Steiner revealed that he was really the Gold Steiner, the Silver Steiner's brother, and that he was not actually an alchemist. She continued her alchemy training on her own after this. Before the start of the series, Izumi gave birth to a stillborn child. In desperations, she tried to transmute her child, and failed. Many of her internal organs were removed in the equation. as a result of this, she coughs up signifigant amounts of blood after overexerting herself. This is also the reason that she can transmute without a circle. She said she didn't take on students, but she let Ed and Al study under her for several months. Although, after learning that Ed joined the military and both boys attempted human transmutation, she told them that she would not be their teacher anymore, but she still has a mother-son relationship with them. When Al was captured by Greed, she helped Ed free him. Later in the story, Izumi participates in the battle on "The Promised Day", aiding in the defeat of the Homunculus Sloth. She is then taken to be one of Fathers sacrifices. She is involved in the final battle against Father and survives his final blast, as she and Edward were shielded by Hohenheim.
---Your Info---
1.) Izumi has been one of my favorite characters in both the show and the manga since i started watching/reading FMA. Yeah, being overpowered would make anyone want to RP as her, but I realy like her character and her history.
2.) I have watched through it twice (First two years ago, and again last year.)
3.) I have read all of the manga, but have not actually seen all of Brotherhood.
---Writing Sample---
Izumi was freezing. Literally. Left alone in the Briggs mountain range, she didn't know how her teacher expected her, a girl of 18, to survive. She was confident though, and had already lasted 28 days, surviving mostly on food she stole from the Briggs forces. She had taken shelter in a small rock alcove. Laying down some sticks in a tepee, she started a small fire. "Only three more days to go," she said to herself.
