"As I was saying, the plan is to have the Elric brothers stay with me for approximately two weeks," she continued, listless orbs perusing over the printed letter. "The document I'm holding is a forged letter from my former student Izumi to the boys, requesting that they pay her old master a visit to learn more about the Philosopher's Stone. I don't mean to brag, but I believe I stayed in character remarkably well: I daresay the ratio of motherly love to unbridled fury is perfect. This will be delivered to them by a messenger as soon as I can pinpoint their exact location."
She looked up from the letter to the original homunculus, "I want you to go after Lust soon, so I'll explain the expected outcomes of the plan with brevity. Following the death of this vessel and the boys' departure, I will be in the body of my maid and their friend Lyra. The three will undoubtedly grow closer over the two weeks, which will obviously be beneficial to me once I transplant my soul. I'll be able to accompany the boys in their travels whenever I please and manipulate them to do my bidding. As for the second result..."
An effectual pause followed before a devious smile crept onto her tight face, "....I will stage my death at the hands of either Greed or Lust, which is wholly dependent on the outcome of your mission, Envy. You, masquerading as one of them, shall brutally rend this body to pieces in front of the boys, effectively turning them against said homunculus. Now you must be sure to do it quickly; Lyra, who will be residing in my old body, cannot be given the opportunity to speak. A helpless old woman will be dead, and the Elrics will have a new enemy.. and a new friend. Should this plan of mine succeed, we will be unstoppable. Now go, Envy, and take care of Lust. I have much work to do."

He smirked as he told him the plan. Did he ever doubt her? No, she was purely a genious. A mastermind, that will twist and turn and decieve. There shall be problem, no barrier in their way. He hated to admit it, but the Elric brothers had to stay alive for now. As as Lust and Greed... this will surelly make it interesting. Make them turn on each other, than seemed complicated to him, yet it was brutally effective. No, they must not be let to unite againts the sins and thir sheperd. None can stop them, only Envy. He grinned.
*Consider it done, Dante,* he said giving her a collected look. *Just a question, where will you leave this old body?* he pointed at her pretty rudely. *I don't want to chase you all over Amestris.*

Wrath returned with the tea. "Here Master." he said as he handed her the tea cup. "So do I get to go with Envy now?'

Dante flashed Wrath a small smile as she took the cup of tea from him, then looked up at Envy. "You are to brutally murder this body in front of the Elric brothers when I give you the order. My maid Lyra will be inhabiting it, so my 'death' will be believable, understand? Following the demise of this body, I'll masquerade as Lyra and assist the boys in their search for the Philosopher's Stone while encouraging them to destroy either Lust or Greed as retribution the death of 'my master.'"
She took a sip of her tea, attention drifting over to the young homunculus nearby. "Indeed, I would like for you to assist Envy in tracking down Lust and separating her from the Elric brothers, but it seems that Envy wants to do it himself. However, seeing as I cannot think of another job for you at present, you willbe accompanying him - whether he likes it or not. And a quick reminder for the both of you: Do not make an attempt on Lust's life when she's with the boys, but feel free to once they're separated. Do I make myself clear?"

He observed Wrath and sneered. *It is your order, Dante, but don't you think that he's too young and unexperienced for this kind of job?* He wasn't much amused by the idea he had to work with this homonculus. He prefered working alone, although missions that he took together with Lust and Gluttony were often interesting. But this child seemed more of a burden than help. Envy's body suddenly transformed into Wrath. Then he looked at Dante, wailing in child voice: *Oh, my master of all masters, I think Envy is right. I am too unpredictable, and I believe that I would attack the Elric boy as soon as I would see him, because I just want the arm and leg!* He looked at Dante, making big eyes. *Can I stay here with you and make you another cup of tea?*

(Grr Envy is going to get it!  )) Wrath glared angrily at Envy as he imitated him. "Stop making fun of me! Damn it!" He hated being treated as a child and to be mocked by Envy made it worse. He grabbed the metal serving tray transmuting it to his arm into a knife and lunged at Envy with it. |

"Wrath! Control yourself at once - and that goes for you as well, Envy! You are almost as old as I am, so start acting like it!" she snapped angrily, giving the two homunculi a death glare. "Wrath knows the consequences of disobeying me, so he will control himself in the presence of the Elric brothers, or else he'll be missing another arm and leg. And if you don't start behaving immediately, Envy, I'll transmute your Ouroborus and make you. Do I make myself perfectly clear, dears?"

Envy jumped back to avoid Wrath attack and transformed into "Envy" form. Then he stopped dead because of freezing and furious Dante's tone of voice. He wondered if he didn't go too far. *So shall it be... master.* he knew how to calm her. He called her Dante, but the word "master" was only for a special occasions, like this one. It showed that he still had respect for her. *I will carry out your wish... and I will let Wrath accompany me.* He tried hard not to put any irony into his voice. Transmuting his Ouroborus... Dante wouldn't dare... this should not happen... not after 400 years of loayal servitude.

Wrath stopped dead in his tracks with a look of terror on his face when Dante yelled at him. She scared him and he didn't want to provoke her anger anymore. He dropped to his knees shaking like a leaf where he was and transmuted his hand back to normal. "Yes, master. I will behave." He said in a timid voice casting downward unable to look at her face because of fear.

"Now leave me and do as you were told, boys. I have important matters to attend to; that, and I can't bear looking at you any more," she instructed sternly, retaking her seat at the desk and once again going over the letter.

*It shall be done done, right away,* Envy assured his Master. He bowed slightly, whistled at Wrath and left the office. This was a mission worthy of him. Hunting some homonculus down. This will put his ability to a test. And he will arise as the winner. And Dante will have to admit that he is vital to her!

"Yes, Master." He stood up and ran after Envy. Though he didn't like working with Envy because of the way he treated him he was glad to go after Lust. That traitor deserves to be punished!
