"Thanks..." Riza said going inside the room and closing the door behind her, then walked inside the bathroom and closed the door; taking her clothes away, she took a quick shower and then dressed with her underwear, washing her dirty clother after, and leaving them drying over the toilet.
Riza went out of the bathroom. "Your turn..." she told the Ishbalan and cleaned the bed before taking a sit.

The Ishballan looked up and flushed slightly to see the woman clad in only her undergarments. He noded and was quick to move into the bathroom before she could notice the red tint. Thank God for his dark skin.
Once inside the bathroom, he saw why she was only wearing her underwear. Only one towel to dry off with. The ishballan took a shower slightly longer than Riza, but can you blame him? He probably rarely got to bathe, and probably in icey cold water in a river somewhere.
It was then that he had a problem. He couldn't walk around like Riza. For one thing, it would probably earn him a slap, and secondly...well...lets just say the army wears boxers, the navy wears briefs, and then theres the commandos. Finally, he figured his pants weren't all that dirty anyways, mainly his shirt and coat. There were a few specks, but it would be fine. So he washed his jacket and shirt and, in nothing but his pants, walked out of the bathroom. "Here." he said, handing Riza the towel.

"Thanks" Riza answered taking the towel and stared at the defined muscles of the Ishballan. "Take a sit in the bed if you like..." Riza said while drying her hair with the towel and slightly blushing a bit embarrased for being almost naked. Riza sighed. "Like we could rest in a place like this..."
The place started to get colder or at least that's the way she felt it, looking at the wound in her wrist, that wasn't bleeding anymore, put the towel aside, so it could dry as well and she lay on the bed.

Scar nodded. "I'm fine." he replied, taking his seat in the corner. It was somewhat cold, after that shower, but he refused to admit it. The Ishballans eyes fell on the gunner for a moment, before he shook his head slightly and looked away. No! He musn't have those kind of thoughts. She was a dog of the military. This truce was only untill they were out of this mess, she was still the enemy!
Still, he was a man, and a very lonely man at that. Again he found himself looking, only to corect himself again. To stop his accursed staring, he decided to pray. He sat with his legs crossed and his hands folded on his lap, his eyes closed and head bowed as he silently prayed to Ishbal.

Riza stared at him a while and walked toward him. "You okay?" She asked him, placing her hand over his shoulder and sitting beside him. Reaching the towel with her other hand, she started drying his hair. "I really admire you people... Ishballans..." Riza said in a low voice, remembering war times, her eyes got deep and she looked down, trying to hide her sad look.

Scar opened his eyes when he felt the warmth of someones skin against his. He listened as she dried his hair. Normally he would have protested that he was, obviously, old enough to dry his own hair, however he kept silent. "Theres nothing to envy." he replied. "Nothing to admire about a fallen people." He was starting to feel a little too comfortable..wich at the same time made him feel uncomfortable. "You don't need to dry my hair." he said softly, though not in an offended tone.

"I know I don't... but I want" She said while a small smile appeared in her face while finishing. "You saved my life a lot of times today... thank you." Riza said and offered him her hand. "I know it's cold... and the bed is big enough for us, come on... we must rest while we can." She said and left the towel aside and cleaned a drop of water away from the Ishaballan's face with her gently soft finger.

Scar was about to protest, but she seemed insistant, so he (somewhat)reluctantly agreed. He stood and nodded. "Allright..." He tensed slightly at her touch before brushing it off. LAying down on the bed, he laid on his side, near the edge. A religious man till the end, it seemed.

Riza sat in the bed, looking at the muscled man and then laid down. "It's cold... isn't it?" Riza said while pulling a sheet in the darkness of the room. The bed wasn't so big at all, even if each one was on the edges, they could rather feel each other's warm skins. Riza sighed, thinking in her mates, wishing they were okay.

Scar merely grunted before closing his eyes. It was hard to sleep. She was warm..so very warm, and pressed right against him. But somehow, he found sleep. It was restless, however, and filled with nightmares. The Ishballan shook around on the bed somewhat in his sleep before doing the strangest and most awkward of things. He latched onto Riza like a child during a thunderstorm, still very much asleep.

Riza could hardly find sleep in such a place and was awake, she got surprised when feeling the Ishballan's reaction, realizing he was still asleep, she slightly and gently rubbed his head, which was slightly pressed against her chest, hugging him with her other arm.

Scar whimpered..It was strange, for him to act so innocent, even in his sleep. His eyes flew open suddenly, and his body jolted slightly, but he remained latched. His eyes wavered for a moment as his vision was blurred, and after blinking it away, he noticed the position he was in. Letting go of the blonde, he turned his back to her. "I'm sorry." he said softly.

It was the first time she had seen a serial killer like that, but it reminded her even then, Scar was a human being with feelings, just as her. "Scar... it's okay..." Riza said placing her hand over his shoulder. "We are not so different after all, we both carry signs of Alchemy in our bodies even if we don't want to..." She said remembering how her father tattooed his research in her back. "So please... don't turn like that... even if I'm a dog of the military as you say... i'm not gonna bite you"

Scar shrugged her hand off. "Stop it." he insisted. "I'm a criminal and an Ishballan, and your a dog of the military. Once we get out of this hell, what do you think will happen? I'll be on the run, killing off your friends, and you'll be hunting me down. I am not going to risk..." he died down for a moment. "..I'm not going to risk getting attached. Not to you. Not to anyone..It was a choice I made when I vowed to destroy the state alchemists."

Riza turned her back as well and suddenly a lot of tears started to fall in the bed. She had finally showed her gently and warm side but the Ishaballan kept being cold. She was crying in silence but it could be noticed what she was doing. She couldn't really understand him, she remained quiet.

Scar felt the bed shaking, and cast a glance over his shoulder. She was crying...Why was she crying? He knew he should ignore it..But when the convict and the priest butted heads, the priest won out, damn him. Still, he wasn't about to suddenly become friendly. "..Don't cry." he said softly. "I'm sorry but...I can't risk it. Neither of us can..We cannot be friends, because such ties are not easily severed. It would cause problems for both of us in the future..."

Riza got up and moved to the door they came in. "Bye then... I'll rather make the chimeras eat me before making you change the path you choosed. It's okay if you don't want... you shouldn't even help me... help a dog of the military" She said and closed the door, cleaning the tears from her face.

Scar laid on the bed for a few minutes, not bothering to stop the woman. What she was doing was suicide..He knew that, and she probably did too. "Why does she even care?" he asked, rolling over to look at the ceiling. "..Its none of my concern." he told himself. "If she wishes to get herself killed over this, its not my problem..." There was a moment of silence. "...Damn." The bed shifted as weight was taken off of it, and then there was the sound of the door opening and closing. The room was now empty.

Riza was walking through the hall, then was just about to open the door where all the chimeras were without any doubt. She sighed and hesitated for a few instants and then opened the door. Her heart couldn't be beating any faster, and the tears didn't stop. She wasn't really sure if going back to the room was the best, after all it seemed he didn't like her there. She stood still in front of the door she had just opened but she didn't walked. She could hear the chimeras breathing not so far away.

Riza would find an arm go around her midriff, and a hand clasp over her mouth. She would then be slowly dragged away from the door, with a pause for the hand over her mouth to close it. "Idiot." he muttered. "What are you thinking?" he asked. "Why does it mean so much to you?"
