Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Fire

"You idiot!" Tai screeched as X walked in at random. "You were supposed to stay outside! Damn it all!"

Pride, on the other hand, laughed maniacally as he was strangled. His laughs came out in quick gasps, but he was smiling like a crazy person. He plunged his sword in the ground, grabbed hold of Martel's extended arm, and unwound it. He held it in his free hand, and rehandled his blade. This all happened so fast iy was nearly impossible to tell what had just happened until you took the time to think about it. And time wasn't good in supply here.

"So many people that have to die now," he chuckled. He used Martel's am as a lasso and flung it at the open door. Pulling it back, the door snapped shut, and X was trapped inside with them all.

"X!" Tai screamed, pushing him in front of Martel. "Protect her at any costs! I'm counting on you!"

Tai plucked the spare balde from the wall beside his face and dove at Pride. Knowing it was coming, the Fuhrer blocked it with his own, but unexpected to him, Tai grabbed the sword and his alchemy surged. He moved his own blade and sliced clean through Pride's.

"You fool," Pride mused. He took hold of Tai's neck and lifted him into the air. "I saw all of that before you even made a single move."

"Screw you!" Tai yelled. He placed a hand in the air, and a transmutation circle torn in the ground glowed...and a spike cut clean through the Fuhrer's arm, causing Tai to strut backwards, gasping for breath.

"W-when did you make that?!" Pride demanded. His arm flashed red and regrew.

"When I broke your sword," Tai explained, catching his breathe. "I grabbed the broken sword and carved it before you did anything. Impressive, no?"

Martel gasped in pain as Pride meninuplated her arm. Apparently, she still had limits to how far she could stretch. Thankfully, once Pride grabbed hold of Tai, she was free. Noticing his sword was still on the ground, she stretched her arm, reaching for it. Getting Pride weaponless would be a good advantage.

X did not know what was going on and did what he was told and guared the girl with a lighting force feild. " I would like to see someone tey and get thou my force feild. " he said smileing because he knew it would be impossable to get thou it.

((I really can't do much as Pride until Greed posts. Same goes for Tai. I could post, but it would be terribly short.))

Tai reached down and gently grabbed Martel's hand before she could reach the blade. An instant later, Pride had unsheathed his third blade and had imbedded it in the carpet, right where Marte'l's had would have been seconds ago. With a furious grunt he tugged it out of the floor and pointed it at Greed. He took a fourth sword and pointed it at X.

"I can see how your alchemy works," he threatened, visible eye gleaming menacingly. "I can neutralize it if I so wish."

Damn it! I'm surrounded! Luckily I know just the right way to get out of this mess. It'll be tricky, but I think I can manage it.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Martel screamed as Tai grabbed her hand. Did he really want to die? That's what it seemed like.

Gluttony walked over to Pride, smiling and showing his large white teeth. "Hello Pride. I'm hungry" he said licking his chops.

" i dont think you can get near me " X said and a blot shot from the force feild. " come on and try if you want to end up fried." he said laughing. "i wont hold it against you if you dont attack. lighting is the most devastating thing in the world."

Greed saw the newest blade sky-rocket through the air. His first reaction was slightly off. He grabbed the middle of the blade's sharp end as it came to a halt. And crushed the center. The blade now being in pieces. Pride's first line of attack, was now crushed before his very eyes. The only other thing Pride had, was his ultimate eye. Which without his sword to back it up, was near useless. A normal human hand, even with Greed's strength to back it up. Would not be able to crush the blade. Without getting cut into ribbons. He was actually able to do this, as to the fact Pride was unable to track him for two reasons. 1] His powers were not official alchemy. Thus, Pride's eye was not able to see through it. 2] As said before, Pride may be more cunning in battle. Though, Greed was no fool. As well as, he was in fact faster then, Pride. However, Greed took care of this by using components within his body to create his ultimate shield. However, he never did show Dante his full power. The thing was, he was able to use the amount of carbon in his body to form a shield. However, he was actually able to use any materials in his body. Not just carbon, but anything that was able to be comprised into something strong. He used a mixture of his usual carbon, with some of the iron in his blood. To comprise it into a 'carbonized steel' solution. He did this, since he already assumed the blade would be some where a little stronger then his normal carbon based shield. So, he mixed it up. The blade lay on the floor in shards.

"Ya' should know better around me, Pride. I figure, you would know how I am by now. And how if there is a opportunity. I take it!"

Greed, said boasting at Pride's lack of insight.
He felt a small debt for the new recruit.

"Tai, I will get'cha back for this. Dorochet, use Tai as a cover to get to Martel, and escape with her. Tai and I, will take care of, Pride."

He said in a low voice, though high enough for them to hear. Pride, had a chance of hearing it. However, he would probably not understand most of what was being said. He pulled his fist away from the area he crushed the sword. And attempted to imbed it directly in Pride's gut while he was distracted. The carbon metal effect, was still covering his hand all the way up to the middle of his for-arm.

" C'mon, Pride. Don't tell me that is the sum of 'One of Dante's best creations.' "

He said teasingly, and the title he gave Pride, was in total sarcasm. He was trying to stall for the others to do what he needed. Tai, was a huge help in the situation. He really was going to pay Tai back for this.

Dorochet nodded, grabbing a hold of Martel's arm and trying to pull her away. However, she pulled away and turned to Greed.

"I'm not leaving without you" Martel said angrily. This was one thing she would not change her mind about.

[Greed]

"Sorry, babe. But ya' ain't got no choice."

He said queuing one of the others nearest her to either A] Restrain her, and escape with her. Or. B] Simply knock her out, and take her.
After his permission was given. He set his sights back on, Pride. Even though, he was still paying attention to him in the first place. He was now trying to see, if his attack did damage. Or even hit.

"Greed, come on. Let's just go" Martel pleaded with her lover. She was completely against the idea of leaving him here with that bastard Fuhrer. Even if he couldn't kill Greed, something could and probably would go wrong. Suddenly she grasped onto her stomach. Apparently the alchemy Tai had preformed had begun to wear off.

Gluttony looked at Greed in terror. "Brother. Something wrong with Pretty Lady" he told Greed fearfully.

For once, which was a rare occasion to say the least; Greed lost his composure. He went from being a sadistic bad ass, to losing it and blowing up in pure anger.

"Just take her, and get the fuck out'a here!!"

He said looking to them from a side glance. The expression on his face was most definite anger. With a hint of worry and concern. For him to lose it like this, it must've been serious. Via; the baby and Martel, in pain. The possibility of losing them both. And the fact he was fighting, Pride. To top it all off.

Dorochet nodded and pulled Martel out of the room. He knew where to take her but wasn't sure if she'd be able to make the trip. Hopefully she could calm herself down.

Gluttony stayed behind to help Greed. "Pretty Lady be alright, right Brother?" he asked, sounding like a worried toddler.

Martel tried to get away from Dorochet, but was unsuccesful. Her stomach was killing her, not to mention she was exhausted from everything.

[Greed]

"Yeah.."

He replied, trying to sound confident; as though he knew she would be okay and he did not care. However, the truth was. He had never been more doubtful in his life. And a odd feeling crept up on him. He did not know what it was, nor could he recognize it.
Was this... Fear? To be afraid..? Even his facial expression told how he felt. His expression being very grim.
He tried to push it all aside. Though, he never felt this way before. He was at a loss.

"Brother, no be scared. If Pretty Lady die than Brother find another pretty lady" Gluttony said. He was trying to be reassuring, but was probably failing. But, hey, he had the mind of a toddler. What could you expect?

"awww god damn it this is ging to hurt but it will stop the fighting " and X ran to greed take your women and go i'll buy you some time" and turned to face pride and x putt his hands in the airand then droped to the ground and made a little array " greed you might want to sheild your eyes. this is going to hurt." and when he said that a lighting bolt came down and hit X making a huge flash.

[Seth Tigrine]

Seth had gotten 'lost' on the way. Or at least, that was going to be his excuse if anybody asked. There were many things to look at on the way there anyway. First off, he wasn't one for running anyway, so he had slowed to a walk quite a ways back. Secondly, military women had gotten more beautiful than the last time he saw them. So, suffice to say, he was quite a bit behind the pack. Oh well, its not like they really need me anyway. Still, I would like to watch what's going on. With those thoughts, he hurried on into the room.

Pfff....wow. Why do I get stuck with all these freaks? He though as he assessed the situation. There was a fat......thing. It was probably a Homunculus as well. And he saw the Fuhrer, but he was missing his eyepatch. In its place, was the serpent that ate its own tail. That meant that Tai was right, there was treachery in the military! Tai and X were engaged with the oponent, while Greed seemed to have found his target. Since Seth's alchemy would easily injure the other two Alchemists without proper spacing, he decided to duck away from the room and follow the dog-chimera. "I've got your back..." He spoke just loud enough to be heard.

Dorochet looked over to Seth, and nodded slightly. "Just help me get her out of here as soon as possible. And if you could tell me the name of a doctor, that would really help" he said, nodding at Martel. The woman herself was gasping for breath and her face was flushed and covered with sweat.

"You misunderstand me," Pride explained. "I have more power then your carbon-based shield can hold. And can we stop with the guests? It's getting irratating. With all of you knowing my secret, I'll have to kill you. And I wouldn't want to have to kill off my employees."

"You need to chill!" Tai shouted. He slamed his hands to the ground. Instantly the green carpet twisted, shifted, until the wood beneath it ripped wide open and created a sort of blockade. Everybody except for Greed, Seth, X, Pride, and himself were caught behind it.

"Move your legs!" Tai commanded, getting back to his feet and bracing himself for combat. "This bastard won't won't hesitate to chase after if he has to! Now get Martel the Hell outta here! We'll meet you back in Dublith if we can!"

"Not that you'll make it out of this room," Pride grimaced. He looked REALLY creepy when he smiled like that. He took up two more swords from an umbrella stand beside his desk. "I'm always prepared."

"Glad you could join us," Tai said, now realizing Seth had joined them. "Looks like you own me an apology, my friend. That can wait, though. Greed, I don't expect you to pay me back. I'm just doing my job."

"So...who wants first crack at him?"

"The only thing that will be cracking is your skull, Albus."

(( No offence to you, my buddeh'. But, re-read my post. I broke the nearest sword to you. And then used that combination to give a really bad blow to your stomach/chest area. Note: If you was human, your ribs would've caved. And your guts busted. xD Any way, that's what happened. o.o Please, edit. Also, the 'carbon steel' effect. Would be stronger then any normal metal. It have the iron part of it, along with the carbon part. Making it one of the strongest possible metals. Not to mention, it was pure. With nothing diluting it. Or things that make it impure. Example - How lower karats of gold, have a type of metal in them to change the way it acts. Things like that. So, being pure, makes it even stronger then the normal capacity of the normal band of 'carbon steel' that would be being made. A.K.A. that metal 2 or 4 times stronger. -Is tired, and hope he did not miss any details.- Any way, thanks. Nice to hang out with ya' and RP. Later. Dx ))

Two gaurds appeared outside the door, hearing what was going on. Noticing Dorochet, Seth, and Martel they readied their guns, preparing to fire. Probably to kill the three of them.

Dorochet helped Martel to the ground, knowing that the soldiers would not hesitate to kill her. Once she was relatively safe, he took out his sword, preparing to attack.

As for Martel herself, she just held onto her stomach, trying desprately to calm herself down. Unfortunately, that wasn't going so well.
