Haley had been traveling for a long time on her own. She wasn't sure where she was going or how long it was going to take. All she wanted, was to find a place where she belonged. She had no idea, which is why she was traveling like she was. She stopped for a moment and looked up at the hot sky. She wiped some sweat away from her forehead and continued on her way.

"Freakin' deserts.. I just had to get stuck in one. Haha, the way I'm putting it is as if I was put in a desert and can't find any way out. Well, not that much of a problem. Since I have a bit of water left, this should do."
There was another girl in the desert, yep. Why? To continue her journey. To help people. But at the same time, she was interested in many different things having to do with different people. Maybe she could try to impress the military, if she ran into them, to be able to take the State Alchemy Exam..
No, she was insane. There was no way in hell! She was only thirteen and barely understood alchemy enough to use it, and not much past that. Maybe just try as an enlisted soldier and pretend that she wasn't some kid, but someone else of a greater age.
Yeah right. She was kind of on the short side of things by at least four inches of other people her own age. If she was tall, maybe she could only possibly get away with it, only possibly.
Shoving aside the thought, Christina Yuki was in a desert and had to figure out something to do as far as water went. She pulled her nearly-empty canteen out and dribbled whatever water that was left onto the sandy ground, which absorbed it instantly. Pulling out one of her transmutation circles, she rest it right next to the dirtied mud-like substance, before putting her hands onto it.
Blue light shone into the sky and Chris slowly rose to her feet, revealing the transmutation. By dripping water onto the sand, it allowed one of the rules of alchemy to stay true. She knew that you couldn't just turn a tree into a steel pole, and that the elements had to stay relatively alike when transmuting. So when she dripped the water into the sand, it allowed the sand to carry water in it, allowing a transmutation to change the soaked sand into a small pool of water. But that wasn't the end of the transmutation. Sand is created when rocks, specifically things like quartz, are crushed up. Therefore, it carries many of the same elements and features that its previous forms carried. To top off the transmutation, the girl was able to also create a thin stone base to keep the water clean. She would also have to obviously create walls to let it work as well, but she already had planned for so, forming a well of water.
She put her empty jug-like capsule into the water and allowed it to draw from it. Pure, crystal water. Alchemy was a bit easier to Chris lately, but it still did take a lot out of her from time to time. But it was just then that she noticed another distant figure, once she finished filling her canteen. Was it.. a woman? A guy? Who knew.
"Hey!" she called from a distance.

Haley heard a voice off in the distance. She glanced over in the direction of the voice, she saw the silhouette of someone in the distance. She wasn't sure if she should approach or if she should stay where she was. she reached for her sword and took it from its sheath. She looked at the shine of her blade and started to inch forward. Was this person a friend or a foe? She was a firm believer in guilty until proven innocent, she wasn't a trusting person after all. As she got closer she saw that this figure was that of a young woman. "Hey..." she called out wondering what the next move was going to have to be.

"Woah, woah, woah! I think I'll be off now!! Eeep!"
Chris blinked and just simply turned away into a full run, which just happened to cross through where the well was. Let's just say that it didn't work out well, and she fell in. Clumsy, forgetting Chris! Well now, she would probably get chopped up into a million pieces by this random person she came across. Great, just brilliant! What a great end to the day.
She got up then instantaneously and ran off into the distance!.. Not. Instead, she got her foot stuck on one of the bricks on the edge of the well, again, and fell flat on her face. She didn't just go splat into the sand, getting it in her eyes and mouth, she also hurt her shin on the rock and pretty much stirred up a cloud that poofed into the air.
"Ow.." [/blockquote]

Haley put her sword away as she saw Chris fall to the ground. She ran up to her, "some opponent you are...tripping like that," she chuckled. She was perhaps not the most trusting person, but she wasn't heartless either. She reached out her hand in an offer to help Chris to her feet.

(Sorry, friend died today so I'm museless and all.. and sorry for not posting for such a long time.)
Chris was freaked out. Dude, this girl just tried to kill her and now she's helping her up. What, does she want her prey to fight fairly with her or something? Whatever. She grabbed onto Haley's hand and was helped up, letting her arm drop to her side. "Uhh.. Didn't you just try to kill me or something?" she questioned.

((Oh my, I am so sorry))
Haley glanced at Chris, "I didn't try to kill you..." she started, "I just simply was ready to protect myself if need be." She explained further. Having been alone for so long now, she had to learn to never trust, at least be careful on who and what she trusted. She said nothing more and simply began to walk away. Now that she knew this girl was alright, she was free to leave.
