Hey, hey, hey; Thaw is in da' house!
Heh, anyway, hi! My name is Thaw; I've been roleplaying for three years now, though I've never really had an interest in FMA (but I have roleplayed it on a few occasions) and I hope to change that. Of course, I do love FMA, but, for a while, it was just another one of those animes; it's only now that I really have a craze for it and such, haha. I haven't watched the anime (well, I've watched four or five episodes), but I'm almost finished the manga-- I've heard enough of the anime to know the differences between the two, so none of you need to explain it to me.
I'm an advanced roleplayer, meaning I write a few paragraphs for each post; if I do so, and you don't feel comfortable with it for any reason, just say so! I'm fine with shortening my posts if they're too intimidating or whatever other you might think of, but if I end up writing a lot anyway, pardon me. xD I just have to be descriptive in my explanations and such, and it's a sort of unconscious demand that I make my posts long. Most of the time is rambling, though, which some have found quite amusing.
I live in Australia, so I'm pretty sure I'm not going to regularly be on at the same time as you guys-- I've checked out this site for a few days before I joined, and it seems you come online at the early hours in the morning, if I'm not mistaken. If I am, well, it was only a GUESS. Sue me! xD
I see you've got a ban on made-up characters at the moment, and so I'd join the roleplay with a real character, except I'm not good (at ALL), at maintaining a character's personality. Trust me, I've tried. I suck. xD So, I'm going to wait until I'm allowed to make a character before I join the roleplay; I hope that's okay with you guys, haha.
Also, as a side note, I've noticed the lack of styling on this site and it's kind of irked me. I'm a coder, myself, and I know a lot of codes that could improve this site's general appearance... Haha, I don't mean to sound rude, but this site isn't the most attractive I've seen; even now, my inner coder is longing to stuff this site full of codes. *shrug* If you want my help, I'm willing to offer a few codes to make the site look pretty; remember, it's only an offer, so feel free to decline, heh.
Oh, and as a random question to toss out to you guys: how old do you think I am? (No cheating, losers! xD)

I would love some codes...the only problem is a lot of people with "prettier" sites have the premium...which you pay for...the version I have set up is the basic free one...because I don't have enough money to maintain the premium...so we don't have a lot of options...

Hehe, none of the sites I've created have ever been premium. I coded this site (and still am) without using premium; to be truthful, paying doesn't do much, it only removes ads and nonsense.
Also, how long will you have the OC ban up?

until the staff feel necessary. We are more focused on Canon...so since there is a lack of canon, we closed it

Well if you would like to code a new look for us, that would be fine. I would like that. So show me an example (or a couple to choose from) and the staff will decide if we want to make that change.
