Loa didn't replied as he carefully put Martel to her feet, while Ariana was still tied to his chest. "Want to take her as well?" He asked as he carefully patted the little baby's head with one of his big hands.

Martel didn't say anything. Rather she just took her daughter from Loa, clutching the day-old infant close to her. "Mmmm" hummed the baby, placing a hand on her mother's cheek. Apparently that was the young hybrid's way of showing affection, like Dorochet had once said.

Loa silently looked at Martel and the two babies as he pulled out his giant hamer, that he had tied to his back to be able to carry Martel.

"So, where are we going anyway?" Martel asked, glancing at Loa. It was a fair question in her mind. The least he should tell her is where they'd be going.

"A secret passage way that Dorochette sniffed out yesterday." Loa explained as he led the way. "The sewers might be infiltrated so that would be to risky."

Martel rose an eyebrow. "Any reason he didn't tell me about this?" she asked, not really thinking. She had been either asleep or nearly so all of yesterday. Of course he wouldn't have told her.

"Because ever since he found it yesterday evening either you or him have been sleeping." Loa said simply as they went on into a storrage room in the basement.

The snake-chimera followed suit, frowning when the babies began to whimper again. "Quiet" she whispered, trying to calm the two of them. They were probably hungry, but she wasn't sure if she should stop to feed them. After all, they obviously had somewhere to go. She glanced at Loa as if asking him what she could do---at this point, she knew she didn't have enough energy to physically go against him.

Loa went to the bottom of the small storrage room as he lightly knocked with the end of his hammer against the iron wall untill he heard a hollow little tud. Loa put his hamer out of the way for a moment as he proceeded to pull of the iron plate, revealing a dark, rather narrow if you would wompare it to the bull chimera or a normal hall, secret passage way.

"Where exactly does this lead?" she asked, holding Rico and Ariana a bit closer in an attempt to quiet them. She would nurse them once they were out of the immediate danger. Until then, she'd just follow Loa.

"According to what Dorochette told me to someplace in the woods near Dulpith, it has two exits. One near a meat shop and one in the woods. The second one would be better as it should be out of the military's grasps."

"Let's just go, before I change my mind" Martel said, grimacing as she heard yet another gunshot. Knowing her comrades were dying made her pissed off. She wanted to kill the bastards responsible more than anything else.

"You go in first." Loa pointed as he walked back to close the door and turn of the light as he handed Martel a torch. "Get in and hold it for a minute so that I can close the passageway."

Fuhrer Bradley smiled knowingly as he looked down the street. Soon the first phase of their little experiment would begin, and he would be here to observe it for his master. Normally the cloaked researcher would be responsible for this, but he had to attend to matters elsewhere, so he had to act in his stead for this one battle.
"Now let's see what you're capable of," he teased his sibling with a warm chuckle.
The soldiers quickly moved to the sides of the street and pressed their backs against the buildings behind them. When the split, they revealed a gargantuan abomination that looked like it came straight from the twisted dreams of a deranged lunatic. It could best be described as a gigantic lobster composed of thick black shelling, visible sinew, and pulsating flesh. Most noticeable about the creature had to be its disgusting face: a visage with hundreds of bug eyes and two large pincers for a mouth. Indeed, it was truly the stuff of nightmares.
The Gluttony chimera fixed its eyes on Greed and let out a shrill shriek, causing foamy to pour out of its mouth. It snapped its two gigantic claws menacingly and moved forward slightly on its many tiny legs, ready for a fight.
"Meet the first prototype for our new Gluttony. I can tell you're going to become fast friends," Pride smiled coldly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Unfortunately, you won't be going anywhere," came a silky smooth voice from the door behind them.
Suddenly, the researcher who had been observing Greed earlier came into the room. He greeted the chimeras with a curt nod and moved against the wall, his eyes fixed on Martel. After looking her over for a moment, he pulled out his notebook again and started recording more notes. Smiling behind his mask, he delighted in the praise he would receive for taking down this confrontation. Dante would certainly be very pleased with the information he was gathering.
The figure remained in the darkness of the hallway, completely hidden from their eyes. His form cast a shadow on the ground of the storage room, illuminated by the dim lighting. The shadow was of a tall man wearing what seemed to be some sort of ceremonial headdress. Numerous tassels hung down from the headdress and dangled down past his ears. Whoever this person was, it was clear that he was not from around these parts. However, it was obvious that he was no ally.
Raising his sleeve to his mouth, the shadowy man chuckled sultrily. "I applaud your efforts at escaping, but I'm afraid you're wasting your time. Soldiers are stationed outside the town, so even if you managed to escape the building, you wouldn't get much further."

"You sick bastard" Greed said, staring at the prototype. He was shocked, no doubt. Thankfully, he was still able to cover himself in the shield----that'd help, at least a little.
----------------
"Who the fuck are you?" Martel asked the strange man angrily. She could tell he was bad news. The twins didn't like him either; they began screaming again the moment the man began to speak.

Dorochett sighed, he had been hanging upside down for ages by now. And those idiot swat soldiers still hadn't got in. So basically he felt bored to dead as he hadn't been able to put his sword up to good use yet. However new and very unwanted noises caught the sharp hearing chimera's attention soon enough. He could hear that the babies had started crying again and the amount of hostile smell around wasn't hard to catch either. 'The basement floor.' He quickly reminded himself as he dropped himself down as he held his sword ready as he made his way down to the last floor meeting some dead, panicing or fighting chimera's. He also ran into some unfortunate soldiers who he soonly sliced up. However the soldiers weren't his interest right now. The first thing he wanted to do before continuing to fight was check to see if Martel had gotten out. He sliced his way through as he made sure not to be followed as he made his way to the storrage room with the secret passage way, as he supressed a growl as he could smell and hear things who weren't supposed to be there.

Pride moved off to the side, then glanced at several of his soldiers. They nodded in response, moving to the entrance of the bar to guard it.
Letting out a horrifying roar, the chimera lunged at Greed and swung at him with its gigantic claws. While his shield managed to take most of the damage, its swipes were powerful enough to scratch it badly. The chimera opened its mouth and spewed bile all over the greedy homunculus, the acidic substance burning right through the shield of his left arm.
After it finished spitting at him, the monster opened its mouth again and went for his head, intending to bite it clean off.
"Quite a ferocious beast," Pride observed with a small chuckle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The shadowy figure moved forward into the storage room, finally revealing himself. He was a tall man dressed in a thin black robe that, like the one his servant wore, was lined in silk of pure gold. His face was ghost white and fairly handsome, and dark crimson eyeshadow surrounded his piercing brown eyes. Atop his head was a black headdress that was also lined with gold, and dangling from it were many golden tassels.
He smiled behind his long sleeve, his hand hidden in the spacious olive green cuff. "This isn't good... If the Fuhrer knew you were trying to sneak away, he would be greatly displeased," he told her, ignoring her question.
Lowering his arm, he moved forward and gave Martel a chilly smile. Although he was trying to be friendly, it was clear that his intentions were the exact opposite. "I have no intention of fighting with you, my dear. Scholars such as myself never resort to violence. Now won't you be a good girl and come along with me? Mmhmhm..."

Greed snarled as he took his right arm, slamming it into the chimera's skull. He pulled away the left arm, allowing the shield to grow back. As it did, he began bashing into the chimera's skull, ignoring its roars.
-------------------
"If I wanted to be handed over to that bastard Pride, I would just go" Martel told the man, glaring at him as she tried to calm the screaming babies. She wanted so badly to just kill him. It would be easy---she had her knife and he appeared unarmed.

Roa protectively stood in front of Martel and her infants as he glared at the weird new comer.
And nice on the same que Dorochette also banged in the room. "Martel?! You should have bee..." He stopped mid sentence as he noticed the strange tall new comer. "Ow great trouble with brains." He sighed as he held up his sword.

The chimera ignored the pain surging through its skull. Its head was remarkably durable, so it was able to withstand even the strongest blows from Greed. However, it still hurt just as much, much to the annoyance of the creature. Frustrated, it chomped down on his arm and tossed him aside, sending him skidding down the street.
Leaning forward, it rushed at him as quickly as it could, its armored tail poised high in the air. When it reached him, the chimera spewed more bile all over his body, once again burning through some of his armor. Not wasting any time, it slammed its tail into one of his vulnerable spots, piercing right through his skin.
Before the creature could drive it all the way through, it lost its footing and fell on its side. Realizing that this could give Greed the advantage, it decided to prevent an attack by spewing more bile at him.
Pride watched from the sidelines, thoroughly impressed. His master surely outdid herself with this one. Something told him that many of its traits would carry over to the final product.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The robed figure jumped back in fear when he saw Dorochette draw his sword. "EEK!!" he shrieked at the top of his lungs, holding an arm out defensively.
Just then, hoards of soldiers poured into the room, packing it to the brim. Most of the squad that originally raided the bar was there, and the rest were waiting in the hallways. Several more soldiers waited at the back door, their rifles aimed at Dorochette and about thirty more men standing around him. Unfortunately for them, they just walked straight into the secret ambush that the shadowy man was leading.
When he saw that he was completely safe, the robed figure sighed in relief. "Since it would be troublesome if you fought here," he said, visibly relieved. "You'll be coming with us now."
