---Character Information---
1.) Character Name --
Russell Tringham.
2.) Character Bio --
Russell is a very serious individual with a large heart that takes a long time to find. He likes to keep to himself, but will order people around if thats what things take. He loves his younger brother very much, but is unfortunately a bit ignorant around him. Russell isn't entirely trustworthy, and often takes Edward's identity to get his way. He is efficient in earth-based alchemy and wants to follow his father's dream of creating a Philosopher's Stone. He drags a lot of people along for the ride, though he tries to keep it to himself and his brother. Russell gets into a lot of trouble for lying. He protects Fletcher and keeps him close. Russell sadly makes many empty promises, but he's working on keeping a good number of them.
3.) Relationships with people --
Russell works well with others, though with one certain short blonde, he doesn't get along so well. He is secretive around other people, but he is a very ecstatic actor. He has a lot of nerve around others and treats higher authority well to look good.
4.) Likes --
He likes his brother, and his father. He likes to read a lot, and loves to research and take notes. He likes to be busy with something, and doesn't like just sitting around. Russell is a very secretive character, so its hard to tell what he likes.
5.) Dislikes --
He dislikes anyone who gets in the way of him and his research. He also dislikes anyone who threatens his brother or insults his family in anyway. He doesn't care for the real Elric brothers all that much. Again, its hard to tell what Russell dislikes as well as likes.
6.) History of the character --
Russell lived somewhere in Central with his family for many years before his father ran off and never returned. So he took his younger brother, Fletcher, and moved into Xenotime. The two took the identities of the Elric brothers, Edward and Alphonse, and found work in a man named Mugear's mansion. They started research on Red Water and were on their way to making a Red Stone, or a Philosopher's Stone, before the real Elrics came into town and revealed the Tringham's true identities.

I've seen every episode several times over and the movie several times as well.
3.) How far are you into the Manga?

---Writing Sample---
The blonde walked into the study, shoes clicking on the concrete floor. He really was starting to despise this mansion- the cold walls and the dark hallways. He had to listen to his poor little brother cry himself to sleep every night from fear. Fear of being found out. They wouldn't be found out. But if they were? What would happen to them? Russell felt sick just thinking about it. But he had promised Fletcher. He'd promised that he'd help him get away if that was the case.
He took a book of a large shelf on the far side of the room and flipped it open. Each page was littered with foreign words that most likely, only accomplished alchemists could understand. He sighed heavily, shutting his silver eyes and plopping down in an overstuffed chair that was stuck in the corner. He leaned back, setting the heavy book down on his lap. His eyes opened in slits and he could see the open door, blurred. A small blonde walked up into the doorway and a small smile appeared on Russell's face.
"Fletcher..."
