Yoki had just gotten on a train heading for Central from Youswell. He carefully looked about when deciding which seat he wanted. While there was nearly nobody else on the train, he still went out of his way to be as far away from the commoners as possible. He didn’t want to be associated with them in any form. If not for his military uniform, he might get mistaken for one! How utterly absurd to be compared to the dust of the earth.
Upon getting a good seat, Yoki relaxed for a little bit, reclining back in his chair. Hopefully the train was of high enough quality for somebody to come by and offer him a meal before too long. Getting bored of just waiting, Yoki began to get to work as he waited to arrive in Central, taking out a pen and paper. He began writing a report of how rough a time the people of Youswell were giving him, particularly of how they refused to pay their taxes. He suggested more aggressive military action be taken to keep the people of Youswell in line.
Yoki didn’t state directly in the report that he wanted to be in charge of another city, he intended to tell them in person once he arrived in Central. Just who did Yoki plan on talking to? None other than King Bradley himself. It would be an insult to talk to anyone lower then him.
Yoki continued writing his report, using plenty of elaborate words and praising the higher ups of the military to try to put himself in the most favorable position possible. While Yoki was obviously exaggerating what he thought of his fellow men in uniform, it was a minor price to pay to suck up to the authorities to obtain more power.
