Alias: Multani of the Wood

Hair: His hair is long and unkempt and of a dark brown color. It reaches to his shoulders, reflecting his harsh living in the wild where shaving and haircuts are a foreign concept.
Eyes: His eyes are a piercing light green, but occasionally turn a darker shade when he gets mad.
Personality: Multani is not the most sociable person ever but he is not unlikeable either. His harsh living in the wild(to be explained in the history) for most of his life prevented him from human contact. Yet in his few recent years living from city to city, he has learned to interact with others humans and even made a few friends along the way. Multani takes a while to really get mad but when he does it can be quite unpleasant for the one who caused him to be angry. Living in the wild he has seen wolves and bears protect their young fiercely and hence Multani has a strong sense of preservation of the innocent, especially children. He is also extremely protective of any his friends, and would easily give up his life for them.
Physical Description: Multani is basically the average size and weight you would expect from a male of his age. He prefers it that way, since he feels as if he doesn't stick out so easily. He is not ripped with muscles but he is still tone after his constant physical labor in the forests. Multani always walks around with a green cloak and hood, green has always been his favorite color, go figure. He also wears light armor over his chest and arms but never wears gloves. He also has a tattoo of the name "Gaea" on his right shoulder. Multani always goes around with a walking stick, it is just a simple staff made of wood, or so it seems. Though he could easily summon a blade, he keeps a small curved dagger sheathed on his back near his hip. It is of course hidden by the cloak making it an efficient surprise if necessary. He also has a goatee but never managed to grow a beard even after all the years of not shaving. His hard life and clothing makes him seem older than he actually is, around the age of 27-30. He is by no means ugly but he is also not the most handsome person around, yet he has been told that his gruff appearance can be quite attractive.
History: Multani lived in a small village with his family, he could not remember the name of his village. He could not remember very much, since he was very young when the village was attacked by a bunch of bandits. Multani which of course was not his real name at the time, was shoved into his house by his parents who told him to stay there and be quiet. He heard screams all over the village, and just stood in the corner of his house. His parents suddenly burst in, his father in a frenzy, his mother sobbing. They ran towards him but suddenly stumbled and collapsed on Multani. It was only later that Multani realized that they had been shot by an arrow. Fortunately or unfortunately, his parents collapsing on him saved his life.
Multani just sat next to his parents bodies for hours and hours, when after uncountable hours a wolf walked into the hut. Multani can not explain why, but he got up and followed the wolf all the way to the forest. He found himself in the center of the forest and all of a sudden the pain,sorrow, and exhaustion all hit him at once and he collapsed. He woke up groggily and found himself on a bed of moss with on odd looking person looking over him. This is when Multani met first met his master and savior. He explained that he was a sort of druid who lived in the forest in harmony with the animals and nature.
His master taught him how to fend for himself in the wild, and how to survive and commune with nature. Multani was always curious since it seemed as if the trees themselves seemed to obey his Master's will. When Multani questioned his master, his master told him it was called Alchemy. His master could sense that Multani had a deep connection to nature and finally decided that he would teach Multani Alchemy. He said two things which would define Multani's life..
"You shall now be known has Multani Flyleaf and if I teach you Alchemy you must only use it for Good and never for your own gains"
So at the age of 16, Multani left the forest and began wandering the known and unknown world. His skills increasing with every year that passed until finally he found himself at central at the age of 19. He had heard about state alchemists and even the library they get access to, he felt that maybe by joining the military he could find a way to work for the betterment of the world. He is currently at the rank of Captain and trying to make his way to Major and has almost completed his training for becoming a State Alchemist.
Other: Multani has gotten a name for himself from his various wanderings and helping around the towns and cities he has been to. He is known as the Gaea's Alchemist or basically the Alchemist of mother earth. It is of course not an official title since he is yet to achieve the rank of a state alchemist.
Multani's alchemy involves his close connection to nature in which he can use the lifeforce of wood or plants, or any sort of greenery to transmute. His most common technique is transmuting his wooden staff into any sort of weapon that he deems necesarry for the situation at hand. Examples of his techniques could be him calling roots from the ground to ensnare a robber trying to make away with someone's purse. He can also cause trees to be animated but this takes a significant amount of energy and requires a special transmutation circle. All of Multani's transmutations require a circle except for that of his staff due to a ring on his right hand which holds what his master calls 'the essence of life'. His transmutation circles tend to look like a bunch of vines and trees entangled in each other.
