"Don't worry" Arden said with a smile. "I'm a lot worse than anything this guy can be. I've been killing things since before I could walk". Obviously, she was trying to comfort her friend.
In Dante's room, Bandit was sniffing all over, trying to find the thing that smelled like death and blood. Unfortunately, she was having some trouble.

Dahlia nodded slowly in response, remaining silent. Despite her efforts, it was clear that she was still greatly worried about the man.
She walked after the dog and stood near the doorway, watch as she sniffed for the stone. "Mmm..."
All of a sudden, Bandit could smell something beneath the floor board in the bottom right corner of the room.

Bandit raced over to the corner of the room and began pawing at it. She turned to Dahlia and started to whimper. Obviously she was asking for help.
Meanwhile, Arden was playing with a rather hard wooden bat. Unfortunately, she wasn't really paying attention and smashed Denny, hard, on the head. The poor sucker was no doubt knocked out for a bit. Or, at least too loopy to do anything.

Dahlia hesitated for a moment, then waddled over to where the dog was digging. Kneeling down, she moved the carpet and tried to rip through the floor boards, but it was no use. She could see a faint red light coming from beneath the cracks, so at least she knew that the Philosopher's Stone was hidden there.
"I can't get it..." she whined, trying harder to pull it open.

Bandit began barking, scratching desprately at the floorboards.
"I'll see what their doing" Nikolai muttered, walking to Dante's room. Once there, he walked over to the dog and Dahlia. "What are you doing?" he asked, glancing at the red light.

"Bandit found that glowing stone thingy the man wants, but I can't get it out..." Dahlia answered, looking up at him.

"This is just wood, right?" Nikolai asked, tapping on the floor with his knuckles. If that was the case, he'd have no problem getting the stone out.

Dahlia looked down at the floor again. "Yeah, but it's stuck on there pretty tight. Mommy must have done that herself. I don't think she'd want us taking it..."

"No problem. I chew on wood like this all the time" Nikolai said with a smile. "Hold Wally" he told Dahlia, handing her his favorite stuffed koala. He then dug his teeth into the wood and began pulling off chucks of floorboard.

Dahlia took his stuffed koala and stepped back. She watched as he chewed through the boards, still frowning in worry. Whatever her mother was hiding beneath the floor, it did not belong to them, and they had no right to take it. She felt bad about stealing from her mommy, especially for a creepy stranger like Mikey.
But her friends seemed to trust him, so she decided to ignore her better judgement and go along with it. After all, she doubted that she would get into too much trouble by helping him. Besides, her mommy never had to know that she took the stone.
When he finally chewed away the board, she walked over and stared at the fragment in surprise. "It's glowing... I wonder what it is?"

"It's creepy" Nikolai said, getting to his feet and staring at the stone. He took Wally from Dahlia. "You take it" he ordered, running back to the rec room, where Mikey and Arden were apparently talking about the logic behind the Child's Play movies.

Dahlia looked down at the stone, her eyes full of dread. Although she had no idea what it was, it gave her a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. She could tell that it was something they had no business being around.
She walked back to where the others were, still frowning. "I found the stone, mister..." she said, hesitantly holding it up to him.

Mikey smiled kindly and took the stone from Dahlia. "Don't feel bad, dear. This stone will likely save my friend's life. You'll be a hero" he said, before turning to Nikolai. "Go downstairs and outside. My car is the black one at the end of the street. I'll meet you there in a few moments".
The young boy nodded, then walked out of the room and downstairs. He walked to the back door, knowing if he tried to go through the living room, someone would ask him what he was thinking. So he walked out the door, ignoring Drace, and began walking towards the black car at the end of the street.

*Roze*
Roze had shrugged off the incident like it was nothing, returning to her alchemic work. She sighed, figuring the living room probably wasn't the best place to be doing her work, so she headed upstairs to find a currently vacant room, for however long that would be. She set her items back down, careful not to spill or mix anything, before returning to her work. After a few more minutes of mixing and measuring, she took a small phial downstairs into the kitchen, where she found a glass and poured some tap water into it. She quickly dumped the contents of the phial into the water, which turned it into a rust-like colour. She sighed- it wasn't the prettiest sight. However, she ingested it, and found that like the book said, the water hadn't changed in taste in the slightest. She shook her head afterwards, but found that the potion really hadn't done a thing for her. A bust, like most others she had tried. Maybe she wasn't measuring carefully enough... or maybe this Earthen Alchemy was just a big fraud. Either way, she wasn't giving up just yet, so she marched back upstairs and sat down at her work area again, wondering what to do next...

Dahlia feigned a smile, then sat down on the couch and stared at the wall. She felt horrible about what she had done. Not only did she steal from her mother, but she helped a man she knew was bad. She knew she should tell the adults about what had happened, but she promised her friends that she would keep it a secret.
She looked over at the unconscious Denny. Well, she was sure he would mention it when he came to, so they would find out eventually.

Riza nodded in understanding... worry still shining in her eyes as she waved goodbye to him and headed back into the house. She'd probably clean up a bit... to keep her hands and her mind busy.

"Farewell, you two. Have a nice day....don't do drugs, all that shit" Mikey said with a little wave. He then walked downstairs and out the back door. He smiled at Drace, blowing the young man a kiss before finally heading out. He then walked all the way to his car, where Nikolai was sitting in the front seat. The insane young man stepped inside and drove off to his house.
---------------------
Once they reached his home, Mikey shooed Nikolai into the mansion. While Nikolai scrambled into the house, Mikey himself wiped his hands before falling his prisoner to his house. Once inside, Mikey led the boy to his room, where Magrace was.
"Magrace" Mikey called, openning the door.

Drace rolled his eyes at Mikey, not even noticing that he had Nikolai in his arms. He turned back to the television and continued watching his shows.
"Morons..." he grumbled.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
When he opened the door, he found that the room was pitch black. The mirror at the other end of the room began to ripple, and the darkness within it began to swirl violently. A ghostly visage soon emerged from within the abyss, its glowing eyes fixed on the Nikolai.
Magrace smiled when he saw the boy standing in front of them. So his servant had managed to get him, after all. To be honest, he had expected him to take at least two weeks before he could successfully break into the house. It seemed Mikey was not as worthless as he had previously thought. He briefly glanced at the young man, and his smile widened when he saw that he had the Philosopher's Stone with him.
Everything was going according to plan.
"Nikolai Perelli... and so we meet again," he spoke smoothly. "How long has it been? Three years?"

Nikolai gulped and clutched his stuffed koala tightly. "Who are you?" he asked in a scared voice, shaking in fear. "And how do you know my name?" He then glanced at the stuffed marsupial as though it had spoken. "I know, Wally, this place is creepy" he muttered, looking around the room.

*Hikari*
Hikari decided that staying outside wasn't going to help anything, as people seemed to keep ignoring her presence outside. She headed inside the house, hoping nobody would really care about it, and walked around. She finally found the living room, and saw a woman with pink and red hair drinking some kind of rust-coloured liquid... it slightly disturbed her, but who was she to judge? She herself had all sorts of odd tattoos on her body from the runes she had inscribed back in Armestris, so it wasn't like she was completely usual, either. She saw quite a few people in the living room, but she didn't speak to any in particular. She didn't really want to, seeing as all attention might move to what she was saying... and she had a feeling some people were going to notice her as it was. She moved to an unused corner, looking into the crowd in the Living Room... boy, was this house crowded...
