1) Original Characters are allowed. Unlike the main roleplay, there is no limit on how many you can use, but try to keep it reasonable. Also remember that The Real World is meant to focus on the canons, so lets try to keep them in the spotlight. If you only play an original character this obviously does not apply to you, but if you have a canon please do not shove them aside in favor of your OCs.
2) You are allowed to temporarily adopt one animeverse canon that is not being handled by a members. This is to help create diversity within the household. While you are allowed to take some liberties with their characterization, please do not completely derail them. This has happened before, and we will be forced to take the character away from you if things get out of hand.
3) Alchemy is not allowed to be performed normally. Exceptions can be made for plot purposes, but other than that it is banned from use. Please consult one of the thread moderators if you wish to use it.
4) Violence is allowed within the thread, as long as it is kept in moderation. More extreme forms of violence, such as the use of firearms, are allowed for plot-related purposes only. For example, you are not allowed to wander into the house brandishing a machine gun like a maniac. If you wish to have a climactic showdown with one of the many antagonists, however, feel free to pack as much heat as you want.
5) Characters are allowed to engage in sexual behavior, but please fade to black or take it to PMs if it is going to become explicit. There was an incident a while back that involved a sex scene being played out over several pages, and we were not happy to discover it, to say the least.
6) Canon characters are not allowed to die under any circumstances. They may be beaten to a bloody pulp, but death is out of the question. If you happen to leave the site after you kill your character off, the next handler will be quite disappointed to learn that they cannot join the Real World because their character is dead. Feel free to slaughter your OCs mercilessly, though. But bear in mind that this takes place in the real world, so there will be strong repercussions.
7) All character identities are known! Fuhrer Bradley has been revealed as Pride, Dante is the leader of the homunculi, and so forth.
8) Homunculi are normal humans like everyone else: they are not allowed to use their powers.
