Martel was somewhat curious to see what the area they were passing through looked like. So, after considering it for a moment, she climbed on top of a few boxes and onto the roof of the train. It was still raining, so the snake-chimera held her child fairly close to her body in order to keep her somewhat dry.

The dog chimera was lying on his back on the roof of the train. He had his eyes closed and his pipe between the fingers of his one hand while the other arm was folded under his head. His face was wet from the rain as he staid unmoved. "Be careful." He said lightly.

"For what?" Martel asked her friend, glancing upwards. There wasn't a sign of lightning. However, her hand slipped slightly on the slick metal, and she knew exactly what Dorochet was talking about.

"You wouldn't want to fall with Ariana in your arms." Dorochette said lightly.

"Right" Martel said with a slight grin. She quickly made her way over to the other chimera, being careful to avoid particularly slick areas of the roof.

Dorochette peeked out of one eye, looking how Martel was doing as she joined him. The dog chimera had a small amused grin before he closed his eyes again. "There you go." He chuckled.

"How much longer, you think?" Martel asked her companion. Not that she didn't enjoy traveling, but she wanted to get off this damned train.

"Seeing the speed with which the train travels and the sudden fresh air I think we should be there soon enough. Of course we took a detour so of course it takes a little longer than usual."

"Finally" Martel muttered as the train slowly came to a stop. They hadn't stopped directly in Dublith. Rather, the train stopped at a town a short distance away. It wouldn't take them longer than a half hour, if that, to walk to the Devil's Nest.

"Seems we're here." Dorochette agreed as he sat up, putting his pipe away as he leaned down the hole in the roof. "Yo Loa we're there. Prepare for a smooth leaving."

Without waiting for the bull-chimera to respond, Martel eased herself off the roof of the train, being careful not to be noticed. She had to admit, there were times when being able to extend your limbs came in handy. And this was one of those times. Martel couldn't even imagine trying to climb off a train while trying to hold onto a squirming baby in one arm without using rubbery arms to insure a foot-to-ground landing.

Dorochette hopped down after her, smoothly landing on the ground before he opened the door of the cargo wagon. Loa soonly followed while still holding one of the infants. "Let's hurry, we'll be back home in no time."

Martel nodded slightly before heading in the direction of Dublith. Maybe when they got back to the Devil's Nest, they could relax for a bit. She didn't know about Dorochet or Loa, but she could stand to sleep for an hour or two.

The two other chimera's followed closely behind her. It would be good to be home and be able to take a nice nape and have a decent meal and a drink.
