Adrian could barely see the two officers ahead in the dark hallway. "RUN!" She said as she kept running past them, the swarming roaches or whatever they were slowly catching up to her. Unfortunately for all of them, when she got to the main entrance the doors were shut. A firm tug revealed they were locked. "What?!? WHo.. when.. Ah!!" She let out a surprised, frustrated, and angry scream and then kept running, now heading down another hallway, dashing past nurses as she started making her way up some stairs.

Not really afraid of the bugs, Havoc doubted he had enough ammo to kill them all, so he grabbed Hawkeye's hand and pulled her along with him as he ran after Adrian.
Having seen Adrian try the door, he ran straight past it, trying to catch up with her.
"Head up!"He yelled to her, seeing a stairwell ahead.
Maybe they could escape from a second floor window.

Adrian nodded as she raced up the stairs with them, taking two at a time as they tried to spread more distance between themselves and the wave of disgusting bugs. As soon as she made it out the stairwell door onto the second floor, she stopped and waited for them then pushed the door closed as fast as she could and slammed down on the bar to lock it. "I hope that keeps them out." She slowly backed away as she could hear the massive scurrying and scuttling from alll the bugs and the small glass window quickly turned darker as the bugs surrounded it, but they seemed unable to get through. She let out a sigh of relief. "Well.. I .. guess we find another way out?"

Riza nodded a bit blushed after Havoc held her hand. "Do we have another choice?" She said and walked to the corner to see if more things were around. "Come on, let's get the hell out of here" There was dried blood in the corridor, but in the end there was door that lead to the morgue.

Adrain looked nervous as they walked to the morgue. "Maybe there's another door in there that leads out to another hallway. There has to be another set of stairs somewhere. " She walked slowly into the morgue and quickly held her nose. It smell of old blood and formaldehyde. "Oh.. I think.. I'm going to be sick.. " She sighed. "Again." She slowly wandered along glancing at the wall of body drawers and then blinked noticing there was a little corner to the room that could have a door but it was hard to see in the darkness.

Following Hawkeye, Havoc realized he was still holding her hand.
Not really sure what to do about it, he decided to act like he didn't notice and she what she'd do.
"The morgue?Are you serious?"Havoc asked her"Let's jump out a window or something."He whined. He really didn't like being in places where dead people lay.

Still blushing while holding Havoc's hand she went inside the morgue along with him, the door got locked with them inside. It was all dark and smelled horrible but still, no movement or sound could be seen or heard. The atmosphere started to get a bit hot, suddenly a burst of cold air reached them. "What the fuck..." Riza said.

Adrian backed away and held her sword infront of her. She cringed shivering as she looked around. "Maybe.. it.. it was just the air conditioner? I mean.. this room would normally have to be kept cold.." Of course looking at the ruined equipment in the room and the dirty conditions, it was easy to guess that this wasn't a place of healing for a long time.

Tightening his grip on Hawkeye's hand slightly, Havoc looked around cautiously, backing up slowly.
"This is why i hate morgues."He muttered to himself, gun prepped for the slightest movement.
His back made contact with the locked doors as the air became colder still.

Big heavy steps could be heard not so far away from where they were standing, if Barry would have been with them, Riza would have said it was Barry's. But the three of them went inside alone. A cold breathing could be heard. That huge thing was walking toward them, pretty slowly. Riza tightened her hand to Havoc's even more and gave a step back taking her gun in the other hand.

Soon, a swish of daggers coudl be heard as a figure was thrown rather brutally at the wall closest to them, Maes stood up in a painful grimace, "Get outta here. Th-this is one monster we can't beat..." he said in a sad tone as he stood his ground. "I can distract it to give all of you time to get away. It's slow-moving but extrmely powerful." he said holding his daggers close.. "Just go!" he yelled.

Adrian ran with the others, pushing them out the side door she noticed in the darkened corner, now that the hulking beast was going after Maes. She looked back at him and blinked, she never respected a military personnel until now. She'd almost salute if she felt it really mattered, and felt THAT strongly about her respect to the dying man. She headed down the hallway and sighed resting her hands on her knees. "Great.. I don't know WHAT that was, or who that was. But where do we go from here??"

"Hughes!!!" Riza yelled but it was too late, they were out already. Some tears fell in her face. "That one was Major Maes Hughes" she said. "I guess we'll have to keep looking for an exit." she answered Adrian.

"Hughes?" Havoc stared at the man as he was pushed out the door.
When they stopped, he leaned against the wall, still not quite believing what had just happened.
"Why the hell was he here?Why'd he have to do that?"He could feel tears starting to form, but shook his head, pushing all the thoughts back.
Maes had done something brave, crying about it would be disrespecting his sacrifice.
"Your right, we need to get outta here."He half smiled at Hawkeye, wiping away her tears."C'mon."
He led them round the corner, this hallway had it's windows blocked off, an eerie ray of light came through some cracks and holes in the boards.

Adrian started to run then almost slipped to the floor as she skidded to a stop and looked at something framed on the wall. She rubbed her sleeve against it to get rid of the dust and noticed it was a fire exit map. "Ok, the quickest way out is down the stairs to a side alley.. The stairs should be just down the wall and to the left." She waved them to follow as she ran towards the door but stopped. "But what if there are bugs still down there? "She frowned looking uncertain. "Only other way out I can think of is the roof.. but then we'd be stuck on the roof."

Footsteps could be heard behind them along witha heavy stench of unwashed blood... Maes gasped for air.. he coudl hardely breath.. He had fought the beast.. But it had almost cost him his very life.. Still. They were his friends. It was well-known he'd go to ANY length for his friends.. Questioon is woudl they notcie him before it was too late and he lost too much blood? "Gu-guys...?" came Maes' hoarse whisper along witha loud thud as he collasped unable to walk by himself anymore.

Riza was sad about Hughes, she wanted to go in there and help him. She took Havoc by his uniform and started crying on his shoulder. "I d-don't care... j-just... l-let's get out of here.." she said sobbing. "Are you Hughes...? or some hallucination?" she asked while watching the bloody Hughes coming out.

Holding Hawkeye close, Havoc tried to calm her.
"It's okay."He stroked her hair gently, resting his head on top of hers, when he heard some mumbling and a heavy sound.Noticing the body on the floor he hesitated slightly.
Letting go of Hawkeye, he walked forwards slowly, it only took him a quick glance at the face.
"Oh god! HUGHES!!"He yelled out rushing to his side"Quick help me stop the bleeding!"

"Great.. ok.. pick up the guy." Adrian said to Havoc. "Between me and Riza, we should be able to keep most of the monsters off so you can keep your hands busy with him." She got more impatient as she looked around. This place ws evil and horrible in so many ways, she couldn't help but fear what they'd find before they finally got out of this damned place. She then frowned looking at the doors around then and tried a few until one opened. "Wait.. " She looked down sympathetically to the horribly bleeding man before disappearing. It was only a couple of moments later before she came back out with a first aid kit. She looked at their surprised glances and narrowed her eyes. "It IS a hospital afterall and it seems like there's a lot of basic doctor's offices on this hallway. You fix your friend up and your shoulder. I don't need anyone dying on me again." She frowned then blinked biting her lip knowing she said too much.

Maes didn't even look up... "He's g-gone.. For now." he muttered, the blood flowing heavily... Like the idiot he was though he struggled to sit up anyway, "D-did " all of you g-get out?" he asked pale from extreme loss of blood. "A-all of you g-g-got out right?" he said forcing himself to sit up straight but falling right back over. "I'm s-sorry..."
