Hey I hope my OC here can be accepted. His alchemy type is a bit special, but I tried not to make it overpowered. I know shadows aren’t matter, but please allow me to use it as solid material, look in the description of the alchemy.

Alchemy:
Daniel Blaze has a long way to go, before knowing the shadows. His alchemy can only be used in the darkness, with very few light sources. The strength of the alchemy depends on how dark it is. Shadow alchemy is very complex, and Dan needs a lot of training before he can control it fully. He uses arrays on his gloves and paints on his wrists (Not tattoo can be changed).
The shadows can be used to create:
Shadow spikes
Hide and conceal
Grab things far away
"Eat" minor light sources:
Create moving shadow images
Shielding from harm / Absorbing gun shots (Not a Deadly Godlike finishing move, the thougth is cool though
)
Ed' binds Al's soul to an armour, but souls aren't matter. That means i can combine my shadows with something solid, like earth/dust, which would explain the problem with matter.
Abilities:
Not the ultimate fighter, but stands a good chance against a veteran melee fighter. Dans favoured weapon is a katana, but always acts like he can't use them. He is better with the katana than the martial arts, even an sword master will get a hard time fighting against Dan. Blaze uses some special transmutation circles that he has painted on his hands, and gloves. The circles allow him to manipulate the shadows around him, a special type of alchemy that Blaze still haven’t mastered. When there are no shadows around him, he uses basic elemental alchemy, but he needs to draw circles.
Weapons:
Sometimes he uses a long slide pistol 7 rounds Colt Casuall.455 and his special gloves with transmutation circles on them. The circles allow him to work of the muzzle flame into a huge fireball, just like the circle on ignition gloves. The gun is a family heirloom, and uses expensive bullets so Dan is using it rarely. Don’t wield a katana but it's his favoured weapon, do never enter a sword fight with him.
(Dont worry, my gun isnt overpowered like the one in Hellsing, just Look-alike)
Other:
Daniel carries around a book of different types of transmutation circles. Theres also a lot of notes in the book, about good and bad coffee shops, after all, a coffee-crawl (barcrawl) trough Amestris takes a life time (Look at Goals).

Only he’s uncle and Dan survived the mysterious fire. The uncle lives in Aquroya. Dan spend his childhood in Aquroya, and knows the city like the back of his hand, he even know the sewers.

Physical Descriptions:
Daniel Blaze is relatively well-muscled but not overly so. His hair is a dark brown, almost black in coloration, and his eyes are dark brown. He is most often clad in a pair of baggy black-grey jeans and a black t-shirt with a white flamel cross on. (Same as on Ed’s coat) Dan doesn’t like the military uniform, and is rarely seen using it. Dan likes dark and black colours; he is insisting on Black is a colour. He prefers simple clothing, so style isn’t his strength.
The picture pretty much tells
Personality:
Daniel is relatively patient with people. He is usually friendly and even-tempered with most people. However he tends to judge those he meets based mostly on his first impression of them. He has a problem with smokers, but might accept it when he knows the person.
Dan is an atheist, but still a bit superstitious from time to time but he’s not irrational, “There is no such thing, as no such thing” (Greed’s Quote). Blaze always keeps him self clean, taking a shower every day he really dislikes people that stink.
He's very fond of the nature and enjoys trekking.
A typical Off-day is a day with no coffee and no sleep; it’s not fun to be around Dan when he’s in that mood.
Never starts a fight where there’s no gain, or winning chance. Daniel will only kill when there is no other way; death is not something Dan likes, but when in the situation he has to kill somebody he will shoot twice, a life is worth more than a bullet. Has a great respect for fire, because of the burns he got when he was 6 years old, they first healed after a year.
Likes: Good food, Coffee, To have a good laugh, Night and darkness includes twillight and dawn, Coffee shops, Aquroya, Nature, Water and rain.
Dislikes: Stupid people with no common sense, Too much light, Fanatical god worshipers (Always disrespectful against fanatics, this is causing a lot of trouble), Peoples that stinks, (Has a great respect for fire, look at History)

Study Xing Alchemy
Make a coffee-crawl around Amestris

Background:
Daniels family was killed when he was 6 years old. They all died in a mysterious fire, Dan only caught his brother’s hand, but it slipped away. Dan and his old uncle were the only ones that survived the fire. No one knew how the fire had started, and it became a closed police case.
The uncle was a former state alchemist, and he took Dan under his wings and started teaching him alchemy. After the fire Dan moved with his uncle Martin to Aquroya. When he was 14, he started studying in Central to pass the alchemy exam. Passed the state alchemist exam six months later.
The shadow alchemy Dan has learned is from an ancient book, he’s now hunting for the last torn out pages. How he acquired the book is a whole other story.
