((Okay sounds good... but as according to HAvoc's whereabouts.. I don't really know... ))
Sheska smiled, "I know just the place..." she said, "You turn right on this street, you go down three blocks, and make a sharp left...it should be right there with a maroon overhanging with the restaurant's title in gilded lettering..." She heard the mention of books and she brightened dramatically. "Yes... Mr. Archer gave me several to read... though they took me quite a while, they were all the records from Northern Headquarters between the years before and after Ishbal... It was actually quite interesting."

((I was hoping to post with Riza and Barry, but I guess Kimblee and Sheska would work, too. And am I right in assuming the Elrics had already conversed with Roze?))
Roze looked around the city. It was the city that she loved, but she now took a different look at it. Somehow, the Elric brothers had taken her last hope to live, but yet she lived on. She didn't know why or how, but she did. She wore her simple dress she always wore, and headed over to the church once more. There she spotted a male and a female she had never seen before, and she knew almost everybody in this town.
Roze walked over to the duo, her oddly coloured hair flowing behind her. "Excuse me strangers, but I don't think we've ever met. My name's Roze, what are your names?," she announced heself. "Were you here to give glory to Leto?" She looked up at the church. "I don't know what I believe anymore... Ever since Edward and Alphonse came along..." She had a faraway look before she looked back down to the duo. "Do you mind if I join in with you two? Or were you two looking to be alone...?"

((Nuuu...I couldn't get on due to work >.> I swear I'm underpaid..Oh wait..I don't get paid at all =[ Anyhoes ^-^ ))
Jean would have jumped for joy at the glorious news. However, he was still on duty, plus he wasn't sure as to whether the floorboards would hold. "That's probably the best news I've heard all day." He stood up and stretched, prepared to get some good ol' fashioned street work done "That'll be kind of hard, questioning the locals yet keeping titles off record." Still they'd manage. After all, there was Hawkeye, she was always good at persuading people. Then again, there was also Barry.
As the Alchemist zipped out the door, he did wonder exactly what it was the man was up to, though whether the man would give him a straight answer.. "Alright, let's get going." He grinned rather eager to get out, especially seeing as he didn't need to go in drag. He slipped his boots on, looking at the other two as they questioned Barry's armed state. "Hnm, leave 'em. We're not here to attack people, but if it comes down to it, me and Hawke- Riza have our guns. One each." He warned before the woman packed an entire militia's worth.
Something was odd about the current situation, ignoring the homicidal killer that was ogling the lieutenant, at least he would if he had actual eyes. What was odd was how, even though it was his mission and she was here as back-up and a watchful eye, he was actually giving her orders. Either way, it felt odd. He pulled on his gun-holster, slipping a jacket on over it before securing his firearm.

Barry nodded silently. It was strange, that he had been that easy to recognize. But after all, he had a slight suspicion that Hawkeye might have been involved in his arrest, he could vaguely remember her face. Not that it meant anything to him, she could try and kill him for all he cared, and he'd still feel the same way about her. Probably his feelings would even be stronger.
He twisted his wrist slightly, watching how the metal plates went over into tough leather, and how the two reacted to his commands. He had never practiced hand-to-hand combat that much, but with the small sturdy spines on the back of his hand, and the studded band of metal around his wrist, he reckoned he could do great damage. Not to mention the amazing strength there lay behind him, even though he technically didn't have a body, he could push his strength to nearly invincible if he had the willpower to. Crushing an enemy's skull in would be a piece of pie. He chuckled quietly to himself as he imagined what it would be like to punch until death occurred, probably only after his hands had been soaked in blood and gore. He liked the thought.

Hawkeye wasn't used to recieving orders from Jean... but orders were orders and she was used to those.
Sheska looked at the girl. "No... we don't mind..." she said, giving a smile, "Right Mr. Kimblee?"

Hawkeye loaded the one gun at her side. It was the minimum, so she'd have to conserve her bullets. "Ready to go?" she asked, turning to the boys next to her.

Bido silently walked through the sandy roads of the city as he looked at people passing by. No-one paid attention to him, they never did, and all the better for him really. Dorochette had been right about the city of Lior, it was a lot like Ishval had been. Sandy, warm and religious. And in all honesty he only liked one of the 3 options. He silently made his way deeped into the city, listening and looking. He had to admitt he found it rather a bother that he couldn't just climb up the walls to have a better look but the city was too open and as it was in the middle of the day it was too bright and he'd attract unwanted attention if he did so. Not to mention that if these people were anything like the Ishbalians had been they would probably not be all too open minded and he didn't even want to know the reactions he'd get for his tail, scales and wall climbing. So instead he subtely walked though the passing people looking for something that might be helpful to his goal.

[Wow! This thread sure is getting popular. ^__^ ]
Zolf was startled momentarily as a strange girl, obviously a local, approached them. He was about to answer the girl when Sheska spoke up. He cringed inwardly as she said his name. Hopefully the name wouldn't ring any bells. Then the jig would be up.
He gave Sheska a sharp glance, hoping she'd get it and not have her feelings hurt. "Oh, come on now....cut the little last name joke, dear." he said to Sheska and put his arm around her waist. He smiled at Rose and answered her question, "Me and my 'fiance' are here looking to invest in business. A book store. "Ain't that right, lady bug?" he tipped her a wink.
"We were just on our way to grab a bite to eat. You're welcome to come along if you want."
The walked the short distance to the little restraunt. There were tables out front under a shaded awning. He pulled out a chair for Sheska and then one for Rose before seating himself. He'd walked the few blocks with his arm around her the whole way, smugly pleased with himself. A good cover...with benefits. She seemed a bit rattled and disoriented, and it was all just too adorable. He picked up a menu and glanced at her over the top of it, his devilish smile hidden behind the menu, but making his eyes twinkle with mischief. "Order whatever you want ladies. I'm gettin' the rarest, best cut of steak they have."
Interesting to run into someone so soon who could prove a valuable source of information. Of course he knew the culprit behind most of it so it didn't matter much. He simply had to stay on his toes and buy all the time he could before it all blew wide open. Also interesting that she knew who the hot headed shorty was. Very interesting. He'd only met the shorty and his brother one time, shortly after his jail break. He'd have to milk this source of information as much as he could without betraying his identity.

Bido had been walking for quite a while now and was getting deeper and deeper into the city, passing some shops and restaurants. He had made sure to keep his attention and look past the people to see if he saw anything or anyone that might be of us for his little mission. However the person he had recognised had been the last person he had expected to ever see in this dessert town. He knew very well that Greed had send him with just th armour person as objective but he couldn't help his cutiousity he had to check if this was real. Bido carefully sneaked closer, trying to look as casual as possible as he kept hidden under his cloack and some other passerby's as he carefully got closer to check if the person he had seen was indeed Zolf J. Kimblee, the crazy bomber alchemist.
(Btw I send you a pm with some questions (to Zolf) if you could please check it, thank you. ^^)

((For some reason, that word "Milk" used right there made me laugh...))
Roze followed the couple after sparing them a small giggle. She cocked her head to the side and smiled. It was probably things like this that made life worth living for now... she had seen those "birds" disappear... she wasn't sure what to think about the Priest now... he seemed too... different. She followed the couple to the restraunt and sat down when the man, apparently Mr. Kimblee, offered her a seat.
She looked to Kimblee and smiled. "You know the steak here is slightly expensive compared to other places, even here in Lior..." She didn't even look at the menu. She knew what she was getting. When the waiter came over to take their orders, the waiter looked at her and said, "The usual, Roze?" Roze nodded, and looked to the other two, wondering what seemed to be on the male's mind. She did catch something that looked... wierd, out of the corner of her eye, but she ignored it. After all, it would be rude, wouldn't it? However, her mind did wander back to Cornero, and how he seemed to change from the time Ed dealt with him... had Ed changed him somehow... or was he... no, that was impossible, wasn't it...?

Sheska looked at him wide-eyed when he called her his Fiancee.. but she nodded in agreement. "O-of course..." she said.
When they got to the restaurant she thanked him quietly as she sat down... ordering a small sandwich... she didn't usually eat too much.

The waiter took his order of 'whatever is tenderest, rarest and juiciest', along with a salad and a double serving of fries.
"Oh! And gimme a side of french bread too." he added. The waiter turned to go... "Oh! And don't forget lots of ketchup" The waiter nodded and turned to go again. "Oh, and steak sauce too." he added, smiling sheepishly up at the waiter. He was being a pain between the hip pockets, he knew this, but he was feeling unusually ornery today and didn't care.
He sipped at the ice water before him, deciding he'd best play his hand a bit more close to his chest when it came to Sheska. He didn't want to blow it and scare the poor girl away. He knew he could be rather 'in-your-face,' and she was bashful on just about everything that wasn't involving books. Or so it seemed. He did intend to inquire further into the contents of the records she'd mentioned at the first available opportunity.
This other girl who'd joined them was quite pretty. It hadn't escaped his notice. He wasn't blind that's for sure. She had the most unusual shade of hair he'd ever seen, and she was feminine and wore a dress. But...Sheska. She was just so.....Sheska. Her awkward charm and huge green eyes had hooked him from the word 'go.' But he'd never noticed until today as he walked with his arm around her, that she had a fantastic figure as well. 'All those brains and looks too...' he thought to himself.
When the waiter brought their food shortly, he suddenly realized it would look really strange to eat with his fingerless leather gloves on. 'Oh well,' he thought, 'I'll just have to look weird. Can't risk anyone seeing the tattoos on my palms.'
He cut into his steak, dipped it into some steak sauce and chewed. He closed his eyes in bliss. "Dang...now this is a steak!' he said, giving Sheska and Roze a sunny grin."
Just then, he caught something out of the corner of his eye. Someone furtively slipped down the alley across the street...and there was something familiar about the their sneak movements that raised the hackles on his neck. Alarm bells went off and he got that horrible 'eyes in the back of the head' feeling. He hated that. War did that. He tried to dismiss it as manic depressive paranoia, but it hung onto him like a bad thought invading a nice clean mind.

After his little phone call Bido had gotten back to the restaurant to mingle with the people again. It too him a moment before he could find a nice and quite spot in the shadow where he could stay out of sight and keep an eye on Kimblee without been seen or disturbed. He sat on some boxes in an ally in the shadow, going unnotised by his small size and dark ragged coat. He lightly swung his legs a little as his tail swayed. No-one saw him from his little hiding place between the boxes so he could let his tail in sight for a moment without having to worry as he kept an eye on Kimblee and his charming company.

Roze shook her head. "I'm guessing your paying for the bill, Kimblee-sama?" she asked him. She had noticed that he seemed a little... perturbed as well, so she tried to take his mind off of whatever was bothering him. Well, that, and she wanted to get her mind off of Cornero too. "And the steak is good, isn't it?" She knew it was good; it was just too expensive for her taste. The waiter came back a little later with some plain-looking noodles and set it down in front of Roze. However, on closer inspection, green flecks could be seen scattered across the noodles as well. Roze took up a fork and ate the noodles somewhat delicately, and a smile played on her face, signalling that she was indeed enjoying it. It also helped that there was company here, too. That shadow that was at the side of her eye ran off, so she dismissed it as her imagination even moreso now. "Where are you two from anyway? I want to say Central, but then again, who knows? And while we're on that note... what do you guys even do?" she asked innocently. She knew that it was somewhat rare for normal citizens of Central to be visiting them, but you never knew...

He noticed the humble and meager fare that both of the women got and shook his head slightly. 'Womenfolk...either they didn't want to feel they were emptying your wallet (till they got their hooks in you anyhow)or else they were ordering salads to look dainty.' he thought. Why didn't they ever get what they really wanted?
He flagged the waiter, who imperceptibly rolled his eyes in exasperation as he approached. "Waiter....get me three huge slices of chocolate cake. These ladies are going to eat something fattening whether they like it or not!" He chuckled and glanced up at Sheska as he munched down the last few of his fries.
"Yeah...we come from Central. I got a pawn shop there. But I'm wantin' to start a used book store here. I like the dessert...it's hot, but it's a dry heat ya know?" he answered Roze. He was amazed how easily the lies rolled off his tongue on a satisfied stomach. It made him a bit uncomfy lying so blatantly in front of Sheska, but it was a mission after all.
"Of course," he added, "the civil tension's really bad here right now what with this religious stuff goin' on. Then again, it should be pretty easy to find a business establishment at a reasonable price now. Hate to say it, but that's the way the business world operates. You gotta bend the rod while it's stillhot." He glanced over at Roze. "Oh wow...that's a rather nasty sounding analogy...but you get the point, I'm sure. War is the grease that oils the hub of business. Ugly, but true. So...tellme. What's the deal with this Cornello anyhow?"
"And please...call me Jay." he threw in as an afterthought. He had to get people used to calling him something besides who he was before the whole cover got blown. All it would take is someone to casually, and ever so innocently drop his name and 'BOOM!' That aside, his middle name was Jay, after all.
