Barry had sidled in after Roze, glancing around furtively at the other people seated around the small grimy tables.
He sent a sharp glare towards those of them that seemed to think he was a curiousity to be ogled at, before shifting behind Zolf.
He sighed quietly.

He hadn't wanted to stay in the truck, but it had maybe been a better idea than coming in here he now realized.
He hadn't had the opportunity to wash much, a quick splosh by a local well on the way had been all, but at least his helmet was clear of blood.

He glanced at Zolf and Bido, preferring not to join the conversation.

((WB Barry. ;D You got us worried there. But happy that you joined in again.
And Zolf have ya notised how they went from sitting at a table out side in the sun to one in a grimm room, lolz. ))

[Zolf J Kimblee]

"Aw, now ain't you just a sweet dumpling," he said to Roze. But what he was thinking was along the lines of 'you got a good pair of legs too, and nice to look at.' But he was in no mood for being slapped, so he stayed a gentleman.

He chuckled at Bido, being his usual cautious self, "Now now, bud. Don't get your knickers in a twist." he said, "She's comin along, so you two aught to get used to each other.

"Oh hey there, Barry!" he said when the grime and blood covered armor fellow walked in. "Glad to see you decided to join the land of the living. By the way...slight change of plans. I'm going AWOL and ditching the current mission. I'm heading back to central, make a pit stop to check on my cat and my place..then it's off to get you a bod."

Bido decided to ignore Kimblee his comment as he looked up at Barry instead when the armour joined them as he gave a brief wave and greeting at Barry. The amrour still seemed a bit absent minded for some reason though. Either way it probably wasn't his buisness so instead Bido turned back to Kimblee. "Are those two soldiers also joining you?" He asked curiously.

"I have no clue, Bido." he answered truthfully. "They're supposed to be 'babysitting' me to make sure I behave."

"Well, at least that's the idea I get. Sounds like something Frank would do to keep me in line." he added dryly. "As far as I know, they're not aware I plan to ditch the military."

[Dorochet [Bido]]

"Sounds like a very charming supirior indeed." Bido commented on the babysitting subject. At least mister Greed lethis henchman do as they pleased. Though he was still a little worried about telling his boss that he'd be leaving, if he would leave that is.
"Do you know when you'll be leaving?"

Roze listened to the others, and smiled at Barry as he came in. "You finally woke up? I decided to try and wake you, but you wouldn't, so I left you to your own devices..." she shrugged at him. She blushed at Kimblee's words, and then ducked her head down, somewhat to cover the blush, and somewhat so she could think about the words she had said. She knew what they meant, now, after seeing what happened to Lior... but she didn't know whether or not she actually believed that the statement was true... She needed more time to think about it... And that brought her to think...

"How did the older brother even think about that...? What must've happened to him...?" She didn't realize she had spoken out loud, and maybe confused the otherss. Of course, she knew about the mis-transmutation of his mother, but that was only second-hand, from the conversation between Edward and Cornero... What she really wanted to know was what really went on, in Ed's own words... But with the company she was with now, she may never know...

Barry glanced at Zolf as he spoke.
"Aye, finally some good news." He said with a grunt, before sinking into a cross-legged position on the floor, gazing up at the others.
It wasn't that he wasn't happy, quite the contrary, but he still had some thinking to do.

He glanced up at the girl's words and chuckled.
He had remembered her rapping her knuckles uncertainly on his helmet, but he hadn't felt like waking at the time.
"Sorry bout that." He chuckled, glancing apologetically up at her again.

Her words made no sense to him after that.
Older brother? That could be just about anyone.

He heard Roze mumble something, not quite sure what it was. But she was such a cute little lamb, he thought with a grin.

He was feeling rather impulsive, having had a bit to much to drink and suddenly reached out for her arm, and pulled her onto his lap. "Hey there darlin..what say you sit on my lap and we'll talk about the first thing that pops up, hm?" He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist.

He was aware that he was being playful in a crude way, but dammit, he was horny as a goat! Three more drinks than he'd had already, and he probably would have tossed her over his shoulder, smacked her cute behind and taken her off to a room somewhere.

"Well..." he mused over Bidos question, "I'm not sure. I'd like to talk to Envy in a bit and see how this situation is panning out."

Sure, he could just skulk off like a weasel into the shadows-God know he did it enough when it suited him-but Envy wasn't too bad of a fellow, and it wouldn't do him any service to piss off the one who could be the ruler of all their futures.

Bido slightly shook his head as Zolf just dragged Roze on her lap like that. If he was trying to get a chance with her this was probably not the best way. After all for all they knew she might have had a boyfriend or crush in Lior, which Zolf blew up to tiny bloody spots on the dessert sand.
As Kimblee turned his attention to the chimera again Bido nodded. It gave him the oppertunity to think a little longer and weight his options. Maybe Loa, Dorochette and Martel would be back by the time as well.

Barry noticed how Zolf roughly dragged the gal onto his lap, sniggering quietly.
It seemed so weird, the young innocent girl with the crazy alchemist bomber.
It probably wouldn't last long.

Roze listened more to their convo, and then heard Zolf talking. She blushed at him, but when he pulled her into his lap, she didn't know what to make of it. She didnt' like it too much, that was for sure. She grabbed his head by reaching her arms over her body. "Please... let go..." she said quietly. Her tone was semi-forceful, but any tone like that would likely shock the present crowd. "I'm willing to talk to you and be friends, but don't rush anything..." She tightened her grip slightly on his head, hoping he'd understand what she meant, or she'd have to apply presure onto his head. It wouldnt' hurt him, perse, but it'd be extremely uncomfortable. And there were several vital points right nearby- mainly the eyes...

[Zolf J Kimblee]

His eyes widened and he looked at his friends in disbelief... and embarrassment. He smiled sheepishly and released her from his arms.

He chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his head. 'Strike one.' he thought dryly. He sure did have a way with the ladies when he was drinking. A way of pissing them off, that is.

"Aheh...yeah...sorry 'bout that," he offered as a lame apology, "guess I don't know what got into me. 'Cept maybe a couple too many drinks."

He was almost too embarrassed to look his friends in the eye after that. Zolf J. Kimblee striking out in public and looking like a complete ass. He looked like a bellyscraping dog who'd been bad and had it's tail between it's legs.

"I suppose we should head back to the Nest and see what's up there. Can't very well make a move till I know how the situation feels." he trailed off.

Barry was impressed by the way Roze handled the situation.
What a tough little nut. He thought fondly. No wonder Zolf likes her.
As he sent her a glance of admiration, he looked at Zolf noticing the flustered look.
He chuckled and got up. "Sure thing."
As the tense silence wore on, he wrapped an arm around Zolf's and Roze's shoulders, hanging between them.
"Oi there, lighten up!" He chuckled, in an attempt to soften up the situation.
"Lil girl, Zolf here might be unpolished, but you have to cut away the grit to get to the diamond."
He glanced at Zolf.
"And you better be quick to understand that not all girls like to be treated that way."
With a quick pat on either shoulder he stood back, glancing at Bido.
"Ya coming lil bud?"

Roze smiled at the man's apology. "It's fine, really. Just... don't do it again, at least without forewarning me..." She walked out, and felt the armour's hand around her shoulder. She almost brushed it off reflexively, but managed to hold back. She didn't want to scare off the armour, now. She listened to her words, and smiled. "Isn't almost anyone like that...? Although some, when you chip off the outside, you find a gritty, grimy interior. Though... I somehow... could sense that he was a diamond underneath... unlike..." her voice trailed off, leaving who she was talking about unanswered. After that, she kept her head down until she was spoken to...

Bido had seemed very concentrated with his own dillema at hand and hadn't really been paying much attention to the situation anymore. When he heared Barry adress him though, the little chimera looked up and nodded as he hopped of his seat. "I am right behind you." The chimera said.

Barry hesitated at the girl's words.
"Er...Yeah, you might be saying something there." He said uncomfortably.
Anyway, he let the matter drop and turned to Zolf.
"So what now mister Diamond?"
