2.) Izumi is one of the most powerfull alchemists in the series, and can preform alchemy without a transmutation circle. She is also a very skilled martial artist, and was able to fight off Ed and Al's attacks while reading a book when they were training with her. She is proud to be called a "Housewife". She has blue eyes, black hair, and a tatoo of her crest on her shoulder.
3.) Relationships with people -- Teacher of Edward and Alphonse Elric. She cares for them, but often physicaly assaults them as a result of thier stupidity/carelessness/foolishness. She is married to Sig Curtis, and they have a loving relationship. She and Sig live with Mason, thier assistant. She is the student of Dante, and they did not get along, even when she was studying with her. She spent much of the series trying to reconcile herself with Wrath, the product of her human transmutation.

6.) History of the character -- Before the start of the series, Izumi gave birth to a stillborn child. In desperations, she tried to transmute her child, and failed. Many of her internal organs were removed in the equation. as a result of this, she coughs up signifigant amounts of blood after overexerting herself. This is also the reason that she can transmute without a circle, and this is also what created Wrath (anime Wrath). She said she didn't take on students, but she let Ed and Al study under her for several months. Although, after learning that Ed joined the military and both boys attempted human transmutation, she told them that she would not be their teacher anymore, but she still has a mother-son relationship with them. When Al was captured by Greed, she helped Ed free him. After Wrath had been taken by the military, she was involved in the fight to claim him. She took him from central to Yock Island, where she planed to strangle him, but was found by the Elric brothers being strangled by Wrath. After the boys atempt to kill Wrath against her directions, she tells them to visit Dante.

1.) Izumi has been one of my favorite characters in both the show and the manga since i started watching/reading FMA. Yeah, being overpowered would make anyone want to RP as her, but I realy like her character and her history.
2.) I have watched through it twice (first a year and a half ago, and again last summer.)
3.) I'm caught up with the manga (chapter 101 i think?)

Izumi pressed her hands to the wall, and produced a spear. She watched as Edward did the same. "Are you ready Edward?" she said. Edward nodded. She waited for Ed to make the first strike. He took a swipe across her stomach, but she stepped back and dodged it with little effort. Izumi stabbed at Ed's chest, but he swiped her spear away with his. "Very good." She said. "You're improving." She aimed a jab at his stomach, but he dodged it by rolling to the side. He got up and took a dramatic swing, trying to bring the spear down on her head. Izumi saw his error, and took a quick jab at his chest, resting the spear head against his shirt. "EDWARD! Don't wide up so much! You leave yourself open for a quick slash." She brought the butt end of the spear around and smacked Ed on the side of the head. "We will try again tomorow." She said as Ed fell to the ground.
