---Character Information---
1.) Character Name -- Denny Brosh
2.) Character Bio --
Born and raised in a military family, Denny was raised with a strong sense of honor and duty. Always putting people before himself, Denny often finds himself hurt by those around him unintentionally. Do to the fact that he spent most of his time at home in his youth and didn't have many friends, Denny has issues making friends and discerning between things that he should say and shouldn't. Do to this, Denny often leaves the talking to Maria. However, when he does open his mouth and speaks, Denny tends to be loud and as blunt as a rock. That is, unless someone says something that catches him off guard or intimidates him. Not taking well to being intimidated, Denny often falls into a stuttering mess when speaking to someone that intimidates him. This also happens when he knows that he has been caught after doing something that he knows he shouldn't have done. Of course, with Maria Ross as his partner, Denny is often thrown into this amusing state. But she is also the one that always pulls him out of trouble when he finds himself in it.
While on the job, Denny is very respectful of those above him. Once given a order, Denny does his best to complete it as swiftly as possible. Though it rarely happens, when he does fail to complete a mission, Denny tends to wallow in self pity. This also happens when someone insults him and when Maria starts to like someone as more then just a friend. Though he does do his best to complete a mission, Denny tends to give up on stuff when it looks like there's no way to complete it. Lucky for him, Maria always finds a way to get around a road block and pushes him forward. Denny also prefers to have some form of order in his life. Also enjoying a little action in his life, Denny is always willing to step forward for a new assignment. Denny is also very zealous when it comes to his work and is not afraid to say that he loves his job, even though he does end up falling asleep on the job every once in awhile.
Though he doesn't have many friends in which to speak of, Denny's best friend is without a doubt his partner Maria Ross. Though it was often her fault that he would run head long into things that he normally wouldn't do, Denny couldn't help but love her determination and her will to follow her heart no matter what. Though I would never say that Denny is anti-social, he could be described as being a little on the shy side. This is mostly apparent in how he acts around Maria. Having fallen in love with her not long after meeting her, Denny still hasn't mustered up the strength to tell her how he feels. Though this is true, Denny tends to follow Maria almost everywhere, even if she insists he stay behind. Denny is also very protective of her in his own way. His greatest fear is Maria's death and his goal at the moment is to one day be able to tell her how he feels about her.

6.) History of the character --
Born into a military family, Denny Brosh grew up with the knowledge and want to join the state military himself. With both parents in the military, Denny often found himself under the care of others, but this didn't make him love his parents any lease. When Denny turned four years of age, his mother became with child again and gave birth to his younger brother Luke Brosh. It was at this point that she requested to retire from the military. They gave her permission to leave the military for a time, but she was also told that if need be she would have to return to finish her duty. With his mother now at home with himself and his new little brother, Denny's mother started to run the house like it was a military building. Though this was indeed true, Denny came to love this life style, mainly because he was raised on it.
As he grew up, his mother had four other children, but after the twins were born, she fell ill. Of course, this wasn't a illness that would kill her at that very instant, but did leave her bed ridden for the most part. With his mother ill and his father always at work, Denny stepped up and started helping out around the house more often. Always there for his mother when she needed him, Denny had very little time to make friends, but he did spend a lot of time with his younger siblings. Do to the fact that his mother was ill and needed him at home, Denny didn't automatically leap at the chance to join the military when he was finally of age to do so. Waiting until he was 20 years of age, Denny finally decided that he had waited long enough to join, thus he said goodbye to his family and he headed out to make a life in the military.
After going through his training to become a member of the state military, Denny was welcomed with open arms. Though he did still have issues making friends at this point, Denny almost instantly got along with Maria when they were assigned to work together. Though he would never admit it, after working with her for awhile, feelings of love started to build within his heart for her. After these feelings started to show themselves, Denny become nearly inseparable from her and very protective of her.
~The Laboratory 5 Incident~
Denny first meets the Elric brothers in Central City, when he and his partner, Ross, were assigned to watch over them as they searched for information on the philosopher stone. Though he didn't know what to think about the Full Metal Alchemist and his brother to begin with, this wasn't relevant to his work. Thus, he just went along with the flow like a good military dog and did his duty without question. During this assignment, Denny found himself biting more off then he could chew in the end. Yes, the bit about finding the info that the Elric's wanted was easy enough with Schiezka's help, but man where those boys trouble with a capital T... It all began after they learned that philosopher stone experiments might be being held in laboratory 5 in Central. Ross had volunteered herself and Denny to go and take a look at the lab for the Elric brother's so that they would stay out of dangers way, what with Scar after alchemists and what not, and they would have if Scar himself hadn't attacked. Of course, that didn't stop the Elric brothers from running head long into danger again and checking out the lab themselves.
Though it was their duty to watch over the Elric brother's, Denny and his partner's mission objective changed when Scar attacked. Though their were still suppose to protect the Elric brother's, the capture or destruction of Scar became just as much a priority. It was only after following Scar into the Elric's room that they even realized that the brother's were gone and they only know of one place they would have gone. Central's 5th Laboratory.
After reporting this information to Major Armstrong and requesting assistants in retrieving the boys from the laboratory, Brosh, Ross, Maes Hughes, The Fuhrer, and a group of soldiers headed to the lab after getting permission from Lieutenant Colonel Maes Hughes and the Fuhrer himself. When they finally arrived at the Laboratory, Denny and Maria find Edward in a alchemical frenzy of transmutation energy. Though Denny did try to stop Maria, she ran head long into the chaos to try and bring Edward back to his senses. To his relief, it had worked and nothing had happened to Ross in her brave attempt to assist the Full Metal Alchemist. Though they had arrived just in the nick of time, Alphonse and Edward were still in horrible shape. Do to this, they were taken back to headquarters to be attended to and Denny followed along with Maria.
Continuing their duty of watching over the Elric brothers, Denny and Maria kept a eye on the unconscious Edward and his little brother. When Ed finally awakens, Denny inquires on what happened in laboratory 5. It was only after Edward said "Nothing much" that Denny got irritated and pointed out the mess he and his brother were. Of course, Edward continued to insist that it was none of his and Ross' business. It was at that point that Maria lost her temper and slapped Edward across the face, throwing Denny in a state of shock. But he could understand why it was done and he couldn't help but agree with Maria as she reminded Edward that he was still just a kid. This didn't stop him from apologizing for her actions along side Ross. Not more then a couple of days later, Denny and Maria both go to see the Elric brothers off as they head for Dabris to meet with their old teacher. Denny had to admit that he was relieved to be free of the careless, troublesome duo...

Denny sighed in exasperation as he looked down at the water underneath the bridge he was standing upon. Yet again, he was alone and how he hated being without Maria. A slight pout came to his lips as he leaned against the railing and watched his reflection rippling in the water below. A couple of strands of blond hair fell into his face as he did this and his military uniform rustled a little as he shifted his weight. He had found himself with a couple hours free time and he had decided to use it standing on this bridge wallowing in his own misery. Maria had left him behind to do a assignment and, though he did try to find a way to go along with her, there was nothing that he could have done to convince the higher ups to let him go along with her. It made him wonder if they were doing it just to torment him. He wouldn't have been very surprised if they had done just that. He had learned long ago that the military liked to toy with it's soldiers and he had gotten used to it. Or maybe he was just being paranoid? Either way, he really wasn't happy with the fact that he was left behind well his partner was gallivanting around by herself. Then again, he didn't even know if she was by herself. For all her knew she could be working with a whole bunch of really attractive young men!
As the thought of Maria being whisked away by a attractive young man leaped into his mind, Denny slumped over the railing even more and tears of sorrow started to spill from his black eyes. Little sobs came from deep with in his throat as he did this and his face contorted into that of a man that had lost everything. He didn't know what he would do if Maria really did find someone before he actually got the backbone to actually tell her how he felt and the very thought of it made his slip into a fit of despair. "Oh my dear, Maria how am I ever going to be able to confess my love for you?" Denny said to himself as he turned from the water to look up at the sky as if he was asking the gods this question. Of course he knew that no answer would come from the sky no matter how much he wished for it. But it did make him feel a little better to be able to say this aloud where he hoped no one would over hear him.
Sighing once again, Denny looked back at the water at his tear drenched face and was almost disgusted by it. He was a soldier in the state military and yet here he was crying over missing a girl. It wasn't really like he could help it though. He was over emotional at the best of time and he loved Maria! Was it really that shameful to cry over a girl that he loved? He didn't know the answer to that question, but it really didn't matter at the moment either. This was the way he was and there was no way that he was going to change anytime soon. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Denny pushed himself from the railing he was leaning against and brushed the tears from his blotchy and tear soaked face. Though his face was still contorted in a look of sorrow and his heart still hurt from the pain of his thoughts, Denny knew that crying wasn't do him any good now that she was already gone.
Running his hand through his hair, Denny let himself calm down a little before he started to continue walking again. Of course, his walk was more of a slumped drag as he made his way forward. To what destination, Denny didn't know at the moment, but that was all the fun of living in a big city. The only thing he needed to make sure of was that he didn't get to lost. The last thing he wanted to do was get back to headquarters late after they so nicely gave him time off. The last thing he wanted to do was get in trouble without Maria here to defend him. He had never dealt well with being scolded and that was the last thing he needed after this.
