Major Armstrong began his military career during the Ishval Civil War as a Human Weapon on the front lines.
Alex during the events of the Ishval Civil War.Though carrying his valiant family heritage and his own sense of duty along with him, the atrocities of the Ishval Massacre and the inhumane tasks he was ordered to perform overwhelmed the young Major. During a mission to box in fleeing Ishvalan civilians for eradication, the Major was ordered to create a containment wall with his alchemical skills so that the regular soldiers could pick them off with rifle fire

as alex got out of the car to report the mission he was on the protect the elric brothers until then was repeared back in Resembool he hears a loud explosen he race to the scene only to find death all caused by scar he quicky calls it in. and a minute late he sees a shadow of a man and it starts to run off armstrong gives chase but the man was to quick for armstrong to catch so he returns to scene to want for hughes.
