Alright, it looks like the staff all pretty much agree as to what to do about this situation. We will be willing to open OCs again as long as the people who apply for OCs ALSO apply for a canon character until the first list in "available characters" is gone.
After that you can apply for just an original character.
If you would like to be one of those people please PM one of the staff members (this includes Global Mods and Mods -- in other words, do include them)
Also if you HAVE a canon that was from that list (or at least has an influential character -- more than a couple episodes and has a very important role in the story ) ALSO PM one of us if you want an original character. We are not going to leave you guys out.

If you, as members, want to talk about this then someone can start a thread in the Suggestions board. The staff will weigh in if there are some questions about why we chose certain things...but it will be for you guys to talk about the situation.

- You need to focus on BOTH characters and if you leave your canon behind then BOTH characters are taken away. (reason -- we have always been more focused on the canon roleplay than we were on the Original Character roleplay -- we only included OCs because enough people wanted it)
- Because you PM us does NOT mean you HAVE the OC...we just want to get an idea of who is willing to do this -- when we actually open this you will need to still apply and have majority vote of the staff
- All OC rules still apply -- so read those BEFORE you apply (once it is open)
