It is with great sadness that I make this announcement, but because of recent events in my life I'm afraid that I'm left with no alternative.
I am resigning from my position as a moderator, and I feel that it is time that I take my leave. As I'm sure some of you have noticed, my appearances on the forum have been rare over the past few months, and when I log on I rarely have the time to get in a decent post. Some of the reasons for this are personal, but a good deal of it stems from my difficulty to balance out my schoolwork and activities with my part-time job.
Similarly to Martel, I have lost quite a bit of interest in the series these days. I haven't watched a single episode of Brotherhood since it's come out, and when I actually find the time to get on and post, at times I find it hard to motivate myself to actually do it. At first I thought I was simply exhausted from being overworked, but I realize now that I'm really starting to drift away from anime and forum roleplaying in general.
I've felt incredibly bad about not being able to be as involved as I once was, and I feel that it's incredibly unfair to all of you that I remain in my position despite the fact that I'm no longer able to live up to my responsibilities. This is something that I've been trying to avoid for a long while now, but now that I'm moving into college and pursuing a teaching career I doubt that I'll have much more free time than I do now.
Everyone, it's been a fantastic run for me here and I'm very grateful to have been on this wonderful site for so long. Hopefully I'll be able to return at some point in the future, and I wish the very best for all of you. In the meantime, I'm afraid it's time for me to say goodbye.
See you all somewhere down the line, I hope.
