*James was screaming in pain as he walked out of the main Central Alchemy Laboratory. Something had gone wrong with the Transmutation Project he was doing and he lost his left arm. He finally got down to the main street near the hospital and he collapsed. His last words before he collapsed were.* "Somebody help me!"

Winrey had just so happened to be walking the streets of Central, minding her own business, trying to cope from her lonliness when she'd seen him. She ran over to him hurriedly. "Hello? Are you alright?" she asked him, thinking Stupid question.

*James just lay there barely concious , blood leaking from his arm hurriedly. He needed medical attention soon or he would die from running out of blood, he barely opened his eyes and looked up at Winry, reaching with the arm he still had* "Please get me to the hospital, please get me help." *He slammed his working arm down and transmuted a stretcher* "Use this."

Winrey nodded. "Hm. Right." she said as the stretcher appeared under him. She wheeled the strther as fast as she could into the hospital, and got him doctor's help as fast as she could, wiich, Winrey being Winrey, wasn't hard at all.

*James was releaved to get medical help for his arm, they may have had to give him a few shots (James hated shots) but that was ok as long as the pain went away the bandaged him up and started to wheel him into a recovery room, he waved for Winry to come with them. Because he needed to talk to her about Automail, because he knew she was a master Automail maker. And he also secretly liked her. He finally arrived in the recovery room.* "So whats your name Miss., Because I would like to thank you for saving my life, and your very pretty Miss."

Winrey blushed a bit and laughed. "I'm Winrey Rockabell. Master Automail Maker. And you?" she asked, holding a hand out of him. "Tell you what, I'll make you a nice set of new automail free of charge, wince you seem to need it anyways."

*James liked the way Winry laughed and blushed she was very cute when she did that.* "So I was right she is Winry the master automail maker." *He thought to himself, He stuck out his left arm and hand the only one he had right now and clasped it around her hand* "Thank you Miss, I'm James Medoc second youngest man to become a State Alchemist underneath my Superior Agent Edward Elric, The Fullmetal Alchemist. I'll have to report to him after this telling him what happened in Lab 5. ARe you sure you want to make automail for me free of charge. I must insist I pay you, Automail is very expensive Winry."

"Tell Ed hi for me then, alright?" Winrey said, smiling. "Oh trust me, I've got plenty. And once Ed visits again he'll have to buy my something. Trust me, it'll be paid for." she said. Not to mention I already have a new set for Ed done anyway. sht thought.

*James smiled widely the medicine was starting to kick in by now.* "Well I sure will the next time I see him but he'll probably yell at me because I was in Laboratory 5 which is strictly forbidden to Alchemists and Civilians alike. I was testing out a sacred transmutation which is the reason I lost my arm. Oh and thank you so much you are so generous for making me Automail with out pay. It will be an honor to have the legendary Winry Rockbell Automail maker work on my prosthetic arm. I'm felling much better Winry, should we go to your hopuse for the operation?" *He sat up slowly and swung his legs over the side of the bed standing up and almost falling over.*

Winrey helped keep him steady. "Alright." she said with a smile. "Maybe I should be your crutch until we get there. . ." she said, worried. She looked him up and down. He was about Ed's size. She was sure the arm she made would fit him. She whipped out her cellphone, sending a text to Ed to get to her house ASAP. It also mentioned that James was injured. "Alright, come on." she said, putting it away.

*James became steady again as Winry helped him up.* "Yeah I think so too thank you so much for doing this Winry I owe you big time for helping me like this." *He watched Winry look him up and down probably taking his size for the Automail., she sent a message to Agent Elric and then they were off to her home town to do to the operation.*
