---Character Information---
1.) Character Name -- Bido
2.) Character Bio -- Bido was one of the members of the assassin team/special obs (presuming rather a scout/spy than really assassin) that took part in the Ishval war. After their service they were arrested and used for experiments and turned into a chimera. Bido was freed together with the other chimera's by Greed from lab 5.
Bido has been merged with a lizard, more specifically probably a gecko (lizards (general) are bigger and gecko’s (actually a kind of lizard XP) can hang upside down and climb smooth surface as common lizards can't). He's the smallest of the chimera's and off all the chimera's he's the one who shows his transmutation the most in his looks by his grey-greenish scales, tail and little claws. Bido is more the cowardly type that rather avoids a fight and fights with words, if he had no choice he uses his tail to fight. However he is the perfect spy as he can climb on nearly every surface at high speed. He’s probably also cold blooded like your common reptile.
3.) Relationships with people -- Bido is one of Greed his chimera's. He's a little bit the strange one of the gang, eg. he used to get along with Kimblee, and be rather fascinated by the explosions the alchemist made as the others avoided or disliked the alchemist, and simply alchemists in general. Bido is rather easy to live with, being (overly and slightly oddly) cheerful and a bit of a coward as he usually seeks someone to protect him if any danger comes by. Like all chimera’s he has a great loyalty towards Greed.
4.) Likes -- Climbing on walls and ceilings, hanging out with his fellow chimera's and having a drink, lying in the sun on the roof, having a laugh, seeing something fascinating, spying, booms (?) and other strange things.
5.) Dislikes -- Military, people making fun of his looks, people stepping on his tail or pulling it, too much violence (especially against him).
---Your Info---
1.) Why do you want to be this character?
Bido is one of the poor underappreciated characters and I just wanna give him some of the love he disserves. Beside he seems fun to play and at the same time quite challenging as you see so little of him and he's a bit odd.
2.) How far are you into the Anime?
I've see the entire first series and saw the movie. (Did you know you see Bido, Dorochette and Loa and one more chimera in the movie in human form as the rocket scientists on Alphonse’s team. )
3.) How far are you into the Manga?
I own almost the entire manga and nearly caught up with the Brotherhood series entirely again.
---Writing Sample---
Bido was a coward, there was no other way to say it. The gecko chimera had once more run when trouble had taken a dangerous turn. Kimblee and him had failed getting the little Fullmetal and his brother. But they did get plenty information for Greed. Kimblee had gotten behind somewhere on the way but Bido didn’t worry about the alchemist, he could take care of himself just fine. And he rather take some distance in case he got a bit too annoyed by the fact that he hadn’t had enough things to explode. Actually the alchemist was pretty fascinating. He couldn’t remember ever having met someone so destructive, it was fascinating, creepy and dangerous but interesting. The alchemist seemed having no trouble killing enemy and ally alike with extreme violence.
But they could hardly judge the alchemist for violence, after all they were all ex soldiers. They had all killed people at some point, whether with alchemy a gun or sword it came down to the same thing, cold blooded murder. And it was a fact that in these times you couldn’t be picky when it came to friends. Bido had noticed how Kimblee was the outcast of the Devils Nest. The chimera didn’t trust him the least. But Bido thought he deserved a shot. After all he knew it wasn’t easy to be an outcast, but at least you had some story to tell.
(This was my sample last time;
Bido nervously fumbled with the end of his coat. He never really liked it when strangers came into the Devils Nest, it usually meant he had to hide. As long as it was just him and his fellow chimera's he was free to walk around exposed without having to fear any comments. Bido decided that he didn't felt like waiting and trying it out today as he quickly climbed up the wall. No-one paid much attention to him at the moment and he didn't mind either. He enjoyed just studying people sometimes. It proved itself being quite amusing from time to time. The nutty little gecko-lizard chimera grinned to himself in amusement at the sight of his fellow chimera's. He wondered if he would go tease one of them maybe as sometimes he would sneak things away from his position on walls or on ceilings, let them wonder for a moment before dropping it again, being unable to help himself and tease them a bit. Some of the chimera's actually disliked being a chimera but Bido didn't at all. He enjoyed his wall climbing and other little reptile habits. He quickly made his way up to the outside world again as he joined Vulch, who he had seen going outside earlier. Bido grinned to himself, sometimes there was nothing better than hanging up a wall in the sun and have a nice chat with a fellow reptile.)
Here's my second characters application. Again same as last time, used the one of last time as base but added and changed some.
