---Character Information---
1.) Character Name -- Edward Elric
2.) Character Bio -- Edward Elric is the son of Hoenheim and Trisha, and also the brother of Alphonse Elric. He is relatively small, hates milk and will do whatever it takes to protect his brother. during a failed human transmutation Edward lost his left leg, then sacrificed his right arm to attach his brothers soul to a suit of armor. ed deepest fear is that alphonse blames him for what happened, and takes his brothers troubles throughout the series with both self sacrifice and self blame, but never lets Alphonse know how much it hurts him.
3.) Relationships with people -- Ed has quirky relationships with people. If someone makes him angry he is more likely to tell them off then hold back, unless they are dramatically injured or something of that nature. he is sometimes very insensitive to Winry, often making her cry, and usually makes amend with a promise to fix the situation or to make her cry tears of joy. Ed's relationship with Al is very close and protective. if something happens to Al he feels that he should have been there to help him.
later in the series he realizes that Al can (for the most part) take care of himself, but still agonizes if Al gets hurt.
4.) Likes -- His brother, Winry, everything he can learn about alchemy.
5.) Dislikes -- Roy, hoenheim, most homunculus and milk.
6.) History of the character -- ed was never very docile to begin with. but over time ed has grown in responsibility and maturity. after there mother dies they turn to learning alchemy and while studying they come across Hoenheims research. When they learn that there would be a way to recreate their mom they start to work almost immediately. but becuase they are severely uneducated on the subject of human transmutation, the plan fails and al disappears along with eds left leg. ed find himself in front of the gate of truth were he learns about the nature of alchemy and becomes able to transmute by lapping his hands. he is then returned to the basement to find that his brother is gone, taken as a sacrifice for the failed transmutation. sacrificing his right arm he attaches his brothers soul to a suit of armor (why did they have ARMOR in there BASEMENT for crying out loud!) and al carries him to the neighbor who is an auto mail engineer. she gives him a leg and an arm, (HOW DID THEY PAY FOR IT?
?) and it takes a whole year for him to recover. when he is finally recovered he sets of to become a state alchemist and find the philosophers stone.

1.) Why do you want to be this character? well two reasons really... i totally enjoy eds personality and i have always liked how he hold himself moraly responsible for his brither. also WE NEED HIM SO WE CAN START UP AGAIN.
2.) How far are you into the Anime? I killed brotherhood in three days.
3.) How far are you into the Manga? i have read the entire manga.

Edward was coming in and out of consciousness when the pain hit him like a train. it felt like a hot iron was being pressed into his right shoulder. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
sitting upright he felt a weight on his shoulder that did nothing to ease the pain. looking down at his right shoulder he saw the shiny metal and now the pain started to recede. it had been four months now and the only pain he felt in his shoulder or leg was a throbbing sensation in the morning. he had been reliving the operation on his shoulder and leg for almost two months now. "Hey Al! can i have some water please..."
Ed looked at his hand for the millionth time, flexing his fingers. even though he knew they were flexing he couldn't feel them... they weren't there as far as his brain was concerned. it was the same with is toes. this would take some getting used to...
Ed swung his legs off the bed and stood up, it was kinda akward at first not feeling the foot he was standing on, but now it was the norm. "Whats for breakfast Winry!" he shouted as he threw a shirt on and walked down the stairs in his pajama bottoms...
