Martel froze when Kimblee started talking. For some reason his voice made her blood run cold...pun not intended.

GREEDO
He came closer to the cell and examined the prisoner closely. There was something disturbing in his eyes, but Greedo didn't worry about that for the time being. *No time for bartering!* he snapped. *You want to get free I pressume? You had enough of this could cell?* He came even closer and examined the lock. *Did you see her or not? Tell. Me. NOW!*

Wordlessly, Martel walked closer to Greed. When she was almost right behind him, she stopped. Something about this prisoner made her uneasy, like he couldn't be trusted. The fact that this room felt much colder than the corridors didn't help matters either. Martel shivered slightly, partly from cold and partly from fear.

Kimblee gave another cold, yet inspiring smirk. As he stepped away from the door, eyes filled with malice, he "presented" the cage bars to Greed, his tongue not flapping a word.

GREEDO
It was only a matter of time. He clutched his fist and smashed the lock to pieces. then he kicked open the cage door. He looked at Kimbley, his eyes piercing him. *Now. Did you see her?*

Her fear beginning to take over, Martel finally spoke. "Greed" she hissed, "We can't trust him!"

GREEDO
*I need to know where Dante is!* Greedo snapped at her. Everything was now irrelevant, if there was a possibility of finding her now, he will use it.

Martel stepped back at the tone of his voice. It was so much like the way her commandering officiers had spoken to her. She stared at the prisoner, watching to see what he would do now that he was free.

Kimblee brushed his hair back, away from his eyes, as he spoke slowly. "Indeed, I saw some old witch in here earlier." Stepping onto the broken gate and pushing back a few prisoners, he continues. "She and her little friend, perhaps her grandchild, seemed to be in a rush to get out of here, though. She headed out th--"
One prisoner decided to pull on Kimblee's hair in an attempt to move him out of the way. This was met with a forceful punch to the gut, and as Kimblee turned around, clapping his hands together, the darkness and silence were both broken for a second as the prisoner's body suddenly combusted, taking down several other prisoners with him. Zolf turned back around to his... "saviors," and brushed his hair back again. "Ahem... she came through that locked door," as he pointed to one just behind Martel, "and left again that direction," as he pointed down the hallway. "You missed her by perhaps... 15 minutes."

GREEDO
*Missed her?* Greedo was furious. This could not be happening. He had a chance to move her out of the way forever, and failed. This means that he will have to go according to the first plan. Allies, hideout and information.
Then he looked at Kimbley once more. He did kill the prisoner, made him explode, merily just by clapping hands. This could only mean... *Are you an alchemist?* he asked him. If he could manage to get another alchemist join his cause... He has to use this chance that came upon him.

Martel glared at Kimblee as he denotated the other prisoner. "State Alchemist" she hissed angrily. She had a deep hatred for the military, State Alchemists in particular. But with what the military had done to her and her comrades...who could blame her?

Kimblee's tone lightened up a bit as he spoke, although the air of hostility never left. "Why yes, I am..." and on receiving a vibe of hatred from Martel, he decided to leave out the part of his ex-state alchemist title. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe it was that old hag that imprisoned me in the first place, no?"

Martel glanced at Greed, wondering what he would say or do. Kimblee was dangerous and uncontrolable, she could tell that much. But she also trusted Greed and would deal with whatever descision he made.

GREEDO
*Now that is interesting. And yes, it was her doing, she locked you up. Dante is her name.* Greedo observed Kimbley curiously. *I don't know what was your crime and I don't even care. But you seem pretty capable to me. As a prisoner, I doubt you have somewere to go, but I intend to find her and put her down. Fell free to join.* A dozen of human chimeras and two alchemists! Having these followers would be a good start, but only a start. He was greedy after all. The only question was, if Kimbley would accept.

Martel released a soft sigh and looked at Kimblee. The look in her eyes was one of distrusted and hatred. This man made her blood boil, and since she was spliced with a cold-blooded snake, this was saying something.
She looked behind her and called to Tucker, "Do you know this guy?"

Kimblee felt somewhat compelled to comply with Greed's wishes. After all, what was there to lose? With a few allies on his side it would make the hunt for his old captor far easier. A demonic grin took over Zolf's face. "Yes, yes I do believe you are right. I think it would benefit both of us if we were to unite," he said as he turned to Martel, "Don't you agree, miss?"

Martel turned back to Kimblee, glaring. "Just stay away from me, State Alchemist" she warned him, clenching her fist. "And my name's Martel". As she introduced herself, her voice was far from friendly, though she honestly didn't give a damn.

Lying was always one of Zolf's strong points, and in this case he had no second thoughts. "Miss... Martel. Honestly, how would you know that I was a STATE Alchemist? I never said I was, after all."

"You wouldn't be here if you weren't" she hissed at him, venom dripping from her every word. "And let's just say I can tell a dog of the military when I see one".

Obviously, this tactic wouldn't work, but but to perhaps put a twist on it. "You are, in fact, slightly mistaken, actually." He kicked a ragged shirt up from the floor to put over his body. "I am here because I'm no longer a state alchemist."
