Wrath looked at his master with a terrified look. He didn't know what was in store. He knew he was supposed to be making sure Tucker did his job but he got distracted by Lust and Ed. It wasn't his fault Lust tricked him out of the building and away from his guard duty was it? "Yes, master." He followed her to Dr. Marcos.
Al: Al saw Lust take Ed and chased after them. "Lust, wait for me!"

He trembles at the sound of the woman's voice. His voice caught in his throat when she won't acknowledge his apologies, the prospect of ever returning to society... to that pack of dumb merciless creatures playing an act of living together in a harmonious sham. It always made Tucker sick. The bureaucracy behind it all, the darkness in people masked by their wealth. You could trust an animal to be frank with you to a greater extent than to trust the society of Amestris... acting... living through acting out the scenarios of 'right' and 'wrong' set by those in power... and those in power, were the military.
But Tucker will help them. poor creatures. Make them understand that there are better ways to be. A pack of chimeras holds more respect to Tucker than a pack of humans playing at a society.
Indeed... animals have their limitations... so... put humans and chimeras together into one... You gain the good of the animal and enhance it with the advanced of a human. Thus you can achieve a perfect equilibrium of the two and... and...
Tucker always rather thought about his work when he felt stressed. But he tended to get tangled in it. In his own fear. In his own doubts about himself. In his own uncertainties. And he failed to get around it and succeed.
End to that! As it was, he was far away from the eyes of the society that had always stressed him so much and demotivated him. Now, the threat of it brought new determination to Tucker and he picked himself up from the floor, wiped off the remaining blood and left the rest to flake off on its own accord. Squinting his eyes at the transmutation circle, he set off to find himself some good materials to create at least 20 bloodthirsty, flesh-craving chimeras. He grinned darkly - combinations already forming in his head.

Martel tensed as she heard the voices speaking. It was quiet and she couldn't understand, but she knew speaking when she heard it. She was able to relax when the voices ceased.
"What else can we do?" she asked, more hersef than anyone else but she did want the others to hear what she felt. "No one's going to let us out and they only come to feed us....hell I don't even know anymore. We're going to die in here, die like the damned rats we've become". A small hiss escaped from her lips. She couldn't help it; she was angry.

CHIMERAS
Loa just sat there, unable to move. The rest were also silent. They talked about this many times, never got to any conclusion, how they could get out. *Yes, we were betrayed,* said Dorchet in a calm voice. *But alas, we can do nothing about it.* He took a stone from the ground and threw in ion the opposite wall. it clicked slightly. *Well, but maybe they will let us out one day. They keep us here alive for some reason!*

"Yeah" Martel began softly. "To test on us and see how well their expirements are working. That's all we are to them- expirements and nothing else".

SCAR-SAN CHIMERAS GREEDO
*If that's the point of our life...* started Dorchet, but never finished. An giant explosion roared through the whole laboratory complex. The ground and the walls shaked. *What the...?!* shouted Loa, jumping to his feet. *That never occured before!*
He was right. It never did, because never before did Scar-san visit this place. In one of the corridors he encountered several animal chimeras, some kind of dogs and giant cats and they attacked him without hesitaion. Scar-san didn't have much time think, the beast were too fast to be let near him, therefore, he send the whole block exploding into dust, killing all chimeras, destroying several rooms, cells and floors. Then he moved fast. He knew that this explosion will alert every single being in the building. Yet he couldn't leave. Not now, not before he knew more.
The walls shook and cracked. The skull fell from the middle of the transmutation circle. The transmutation stopped. The figure lying on the floor tighted with ropes opened its eyes. The ropes bursted as easy as a cob-web. Greedo stood up, laughing as a maniac. He grinned, showing his white teeth. *Free at last! How long it has been? 130 years? 170? 250? No matter...*
Then it was easy to escape his chamber. Now he had to leave quickly.

Martel jumped a little. "What the hell was that?"" she asked the others, though she was sure they didn't know.

GREEDO
He walked past the holding cells, where the chimeras, including Martel, Dorchet and Loa were hold. He turned his head, and looked on them as if scientist was observing an experiment. *Well, well, well, what do we have here?* He knew what they were, that was easy to guess. And he knew much about Amestris military and their sick experiments they held. He knew that these subjects holt little love to their creators. *Do you want to stay here and rot? Or do you wish to come with me and wreck havoc outside? Chose quickly!*

Martel smiled a little. She wasn't sure if she should trust him, but it was a way to freedom at least. "I'm in" she told Greed, looking at the others. "I'm sure they are too".

CHIMERAS GREEDO
Greedo just grinned, he clutched his fist and smashed the lock on the rail to pieces. The way to freedom was opened.
Dorchet stared at him in amazement. *Who are you?*
*I am your rescuer. But the question is, who are you? A sort of failed human chimera experiment? Are you capable at least?* He moved closer to them, observing them all, slowly measuring them with eyes from heads to feet.

Martel hissed under her breath. It was like when the expirements were first complete. In a fit of anger she threw out her arms, stretching them as she did. She grabbed Greed's ankle and pulled back, sending him to the ground.

Dante lead him to a pair of mahogany doors a good distance away from the laboratories. She opened the doors, revealing the expansive office that once belonged to the former director of Laboratory 5—Doctor Tim Marcoh, The Crystal Alchemist. The old woman sauntered over to the rectangular desk at the back of the office and took a seat, brown eyes resting on Wrath. She motioned for him to take a seat, an affable smile on her face. Oddly enough, she didn't seem angry with him in the least!
Compared to the rest of the dark and dangerous laboratory, Marco's office seemed completely out-of-place; an air of pleasantness and comfort surrounded it. The pleasant fragrance of fresh flowers filled the room, contrasting with the disgusting stench of dirt and blood that filled the rest of the lab. Bookshelves lined the crimson walls, stocked with all sorts of alchemical texts. The entire room, unlike the rest of the building, was well-lit and had working electricity.
Considering that Dante adopted it as her office after Marco's departure, it only made sense that it would be kept in outstanding condition. After all, the Shepherd of Sins deserved the best of the best, right?
"Sweetheart, relax—I'm not angry with you. I'm sure you did your best to ensure that Mister Tucker did his job, and that's all that matters. As they say, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink," she said graciously, doing her best to put Wrath at ease. Actually, she believed that he failed miserably and was nothing more than an incompetent brat, but she couldn't let him know that, now could she? Indeed, she had to treat him with motherly kindness and love.
"But there is something that's troubling me, dear: Why was Mister Tucker wounded? Surely you weren't responsible, seeing as you were paralyzed with shock when I arrived. I didn't get a good look at his bruises, but I know that they weren't caused by chimeras; after all, he only made one, and I'm sure that it wouldn't have attacked him, seeing as it was partly his daughter. So what happened?"
Before she could get an answer, however, a loud explosion rang through the entire laboratory. The electricity in Dr. Marco's office went out almost instantaneously, casting the room into pure darkness. The entire room shook from the sheer magnitude of the explosion. Once everything settled down, Dante swiftly rose from her seat and stared blankly at the set of double doors. She clutched her chest in pain, the sudden surprise too much for her to take.
"..Wrath," she began, sounding a bit tense and feeble, "there's several oil lamps on a table to your right. Would you please light then for me with your alchemy? ...And lock the doors, while you're at it."
She cursed inwardly, overcome with pain and anger. Some intruder—and most likely a powerful one, at that—probably set off one of the bombs and took out a portion of the lab. And considering the state that her body was in, there was no way that she could fight him off. And she doubted that Wrath would be much of a help.
But that wasn't her main concern...

GREEDO
The Martel's attack took him in suprise, but that was not enough. As his leg was being grabbed, he managed to commit a salto backwards, landing safely on his feet.
*Impressive,* he sniggered as the saw Martel's arm return to normal legth. So you seem to be capable. He though hardly. Surely, Dante will soon hear of his excape, and as he knew her, it wouldn't take long for her to sent her henchmen on him. He alone was no match for Envy and Gluttony, and he didn't know how many more sins she managed to gather. He'll need information, hideout, but most importantly allies or loyal servants. And these chimeras seemed nearly broken in their mind, full of hatred againts their creators. It shouldn't be too hard to gain their trust.
*I see you are strong. Maybe those, that created you have underestimated you. I am not that foolish. I am here to set you free, if you'll join me. Not that you have much to live for anzway, and I doubt that you want to rot here forever. What do you say?*

Martel smiled slightly and said, "I'm in". She walked to the now unlocked door of the cage, pulling it open. She walked out and stepped in front of Greed. "By the way" Martel said looking at her liberator, "What should I call you?"

GREEDO CHIMERAS
Dorchet stepped forward. *Anything to let us free!* The other chimeras roared in agree.
*Yes, that should be fine for now,* Greedo took his sunglasses and put them on his eyes, slowly, enjoying the movement. *Now that's better!* He faced Martel and winked. *My name is not important, but you can call me Greed. Yeesss.... That was how it sounded. Greed...* He put his left hand in his pocket. *Yes, call me Greed. And who are you, my preety lady?* He slowly touched Martel's cheek.

Martel blushed slightly at the touch, partly in anger and partly in surprise. "Greed...interesting name" she said stepping back. "My name's Martel" she said to Greed.

GREEDO
*Martel,* whispered Greed in excitement. *I see the snake venom in your veins. If you're all the same sort, we'll work out fine. Now, let's move out!* he ordered them. Standing aside the door. *You are fugitives, as I am. We need a hiding place, and I know what we may use...*

Martel rose an eyebrow as she stepped towards him. "I mean no disrespect, Greed" she began, "But where can you hide over a dozen chimeras?" They weren't the most....quiet group in the world. That was for sure.

GREEDO
*I know an exact place. It existed for centuries and I used it several times. You know, there is a thief guild in Eastern city, where you can hide and nobody will be able to find you. Nobody even know it exists. The Thiefs of Darkness make sure of that.* He scratched his head, his grimace darkened. *I only hope it still exists, althouth it should. There is an other hiding place I know, here in Central, and I would like remain away... at least for now.* Yes, there was a possibility of running to Dante, and he was not prepared to do that now. Later, he'll find, pay her a visit and make her beg, make her crawl. Maybe he should kill her if he'll have the chance.
Little he knew that his former lover was much closer than he expected, faint, weak.

Martel nodded and began to exit. She froze when she was next to Greed and gave him a small smile. "Thanks" she said, quietly. It was all she could say; the only way she could express her gratitude.
