GREEDO CHIMERAS
*Now, we should be able to get out of here quietely,* he said calmly, looking at Martel once more. He whistled. *Nice,* he said in a provocative tone.
One by one the other chimeras escaped their cell. They stood outside, watching Greedo carefully. *What now?* Loa asked.
*We'll say goodbye to this place, which was only a prison to us! Follow me!* He went into the darkness....

Martel was embaressed as she felt a slight blush come onto her face. But she quickly ran after Greed. Hopefully this would be the last she'd see of this prison.

As he strolled through the corridors, opening various doors to various rooms - searching for either somebody to tell him where some of the greater animals were kept or the rooms with the animals themselves.
Wondering about powerful chimera combinations, he pushes open some doors to some office, without even noticing they were already opened a crack and scans the room through his repaired glasses.
He notices something just at the boundary of light cast into the room through the open door from the corridor - it is furry and he grins in satisfaction at finally finding something. He approaches it with caution, but notes, that the thing is not moving. Finding a switch to a table lamp, he flicks it on and holds the lamp out to observe the animal on the floor.
The lamp crashes to the floor with an almost agonizingly loud crash to Tucker's silence accustomed ears, but the bulb does not break. It casts light upon the corpse of the Nina chimera - still fresh, blood oozing and the mush of brain shining wetly in the yellow light. Suddenly the smell of blood is overpowering - irritable copper stench, mixed with the odour of burned meat.
Tuckers senses reel. His universe narrows to the display cast over with yellowy light, the nauseating smell and the oppressive silence broken by a raspy: "Nina..."
Of course he recognized her. Of course he knew. Of course... he'd killed her.
Falling to his knees, he crawled towards the cooling corpse and grabbed hold of it, pulling it up and, even with its head blasted through, the features barely recognizable, he pressed it to his chest, squeezed it tightly, burying his fingers deep into the fur - into the fading warmth.
The rational part of him coldly announced in his head that his daughter was already dead, the part of the man felt great sorrow and even disgust at what was left of the girl now and the father threw his head back, screaming to the world his inextinguishable grief upon loosing his dear Nina.
He screamed, until he went hoarse and didn't stop. Only when the explosion sounded and all was cast into merciful darkness did he stop, his throat raw, his bruised face wet with tears. He turned to oblivion, clutching the remains of his daughter that he formed.
A voice tried to get to him through the thick fog in his head, but he did not want to listen, lest it be the same voice that nagged him before about killing his wife - he could just die on the spot for all that he cared now.
The voice was insistent. It was the voice of the alchemist that announced to him, with the hint of excitement all posses when thinking of BIG projects; With the current knowledge of human chimera transmutation I can be able to recreate her body and get Nina back. Yes, I can do that!
A whisper filled the room: "I will do that"
Tucker stood up, still holding the Nina Chimera tightly to his chest, just like a child might clutch at its teddy bear, not minding the blood, not minding the stench. He set out through the dark corridors, until falling upon a group of whomevers on his way to wherever.
He stopped, his breathing affected by carrying a heavy load in his arms and for the first time of his stay in this damned place, he was afraid for Nina, what was left of her and what he could again recreate to become Nina. He could not afford to loose her again. Oh nono. Never again, don't worry, darling. Continuing in a barely understandable whisper - all he can produce now with his raw throat: "Daddy will make this all right again and we will be very happy again and all will be fine, just don't you worry..."

Wrath obeyed her request of lighting the lamps before answering. With a flash of alchemy he lit the lamps and then turned back to her. "Master, it was that Elric boy who injured Mr. Tucker. He was really upset that Mr. Tucker used his daughter to make that chimera." That last part caused twinge of pain in his heart and he wasn't sure why. All he knew he couldn't tell his master what he felt so he didn't say anything more.

GREEDO CHIMERAS
*So, Martel, how did you get in here?* Greedo asked the pretty women next to him as they walked forward. *Why did you signed for this experiment? Wealth? Fame?* He chuckled. *Special abilities no human has?* His eyes glinted, it could be seen even through the sunglasses.
*Do you think we can trust this guy?* whispered Loa to Dorchet, as they went behind Greedo. *We know nothing about him.*
*I don't care who he is,* said Dorchet in a calm voice. *If he'll give my life a purpose, I'll follow him. I would follow anyone, who would free me from here!*

Tucker falls silent upon hearing voices and scurries behind a corner, but peeks out at the mention of freedom. He has no desire to stay here. The old hag frightens him to the core, even more than Basque Grant ever had. And not to mention this is the place where he failed his little Nina. He needs a change of air and takes a step forward, blocking the passage to the group and... not really sure what to say, stands there, clutching on to the beast in his arms.

Martel frowned. "None of us signed up" she told him. "We were working for the military and when we weren't useful....you can guess the rest".

Dante's lips slowly drooped into a frown at the mention of his child. That was something she certainly hadn't anticipated. The Fullmetal Alchemist was always supposed to be under heavy surveillance, be it by her own homunculi minions or the State. So why wasn't she informed that he was dabbling in Lab Five business, or that he was in Central in the first place? Something just didn't add up.
Resting her forehead against her clasped hands, she made an effort to recollect who was supposed to be keeping tabs on the Elric brothers. Envy was masquerading as that obese priest in Lior, so it obviously wasn't his responsibility. Pride was busy with running the country and preparing for the invasion of Lior, and Sloth was assisting him. It didn't take a genius to know that Gluttony was either eating some poor soul out of house and home or following Lust around like a lost puppy...
Lust.
The pieces were finally falling into place - it made perfect sense! That insubordinate wench had finally betrayed her. How else could Edward and Alphonse have escaped the watchful eyes of the Shepherd of Sins? Indeed, Dante had expected that Lust would eventually go against her - but not so soon! An error of judgment on her behalf, she admitted to herself. With Greed most likely free and Lust against her, she was in a bad position...
No, she wasn't. Everything was proceeding according to her design - well, for the most part, anyway. Worst case scenario: Greed and Lust would ally themselves with the Elrics and fight against her. No, Greed wouldn't commit himself to a cause - it would be very unbecoming of him. Regardless, both of them would have to be neutralized.
Dante realized that she was getting ahead of herself. After all, she didn't really know for sure if Lust had betrayed her or not. Perhaps Wrath would know? Judging by the jaw-dropping incompetence he had been showing her recently, she doubted it.
"...Wrath," she addressed the homunculus of her student's child, eyes perusing over the flames dancing in the oil lamps, "...Did Lust lead the Elric boys here?"

"How are we getting there, Greed" Martel asked him as they walked in the dark. She wasn't scared, but a bit nervous. If the military caught them....who knows what could happen?

GREEDO
*Oh, yes, I know what you're talking about...* he sniggered. *State experiments. Outlaws. Mutants. Just like me. We should stick together you know,* he said in his neutral calm voice, still sniggering. *Are there any more of you around here somewhere?* He had to get as much followers as possible. He had to keep initiative on his side.
((I'll just get Tucker following the group, without them noticing him. Since Carduus is away, the conversation will wait, till he returns))

Martel shrugged. "As far as I know, we're the only ones" she told him. She made sure to stay next to him, but she didn't know why. Still walking she turned looked back to face Dorochette and Roa. "Are you guys okay?" she asked them.

GREEDO
*Well, we'll see about that,* he whispered. Then they stopped. They were at a crossroad. Greedo turned his head around and scratched his back of head. *Now, now, now... this place has chaged for the last few decades.* But he didn't forget anything. His memory was full, even of those he wished to forget. *No need to rush. This way!* he ordered and turned right.
*And by the way, pretty lady, what's that tattoo you have on your face?* he asked Martel suddenly.

Martel's eye widened and she touched her tatoo, following Greed still. "It was a way for the military to keep an eye on me" she said to him. "I ran off a lot during training and it'd take them hours to find me. So they gave me this; to make me more noticable". She suddenly looked at him, with a slightly confused look. "Why do you keep calling me that?"

GREEDO
*A bit of troublemaker, eh?* He stopped and looked directly into Martel's face. *Why do I call you that? You can guess.* He smiled and grabbed her chin with two fingers. Yes, she was definitally pretty, but for Greed, who was more than hundred years sealed in a prison, she seemed as a godess of beauty. *How could you end in such a place, with such a pretty face, I wonder...*

Martel blushed a little bit. It was embaressing. She used to be a solider and here she was acting like a teenage girl. "We were in the military, soliders who didn't actually exists. While we were on assignment....well let's just say we lost our worth. So they did these experiments on us and locked us in those damned cells" she explained to him, her tone getting harsher with each word, until it sounding like she was hissing.

"Yes she did." He answered gaining a little more confidence. "She tricked me into leaving on diffrent orders while she let the Elric boys head into the house. When I tried to stop them she got in my way.

GREEDO
*And would you like to take a revenge on them?* he asked her, with a trail of curiosity in his voice. 'Ah, what's better than a band of angry and extremely frustrated chimeras?' he thought to himself. He just needed to aim their anger the right direction.

"Hell yes" she said softly. There wasn't anything she'd rather do than get her revenge on the people who made her this way. "There's nothing that I want to do more".

*Then we have a common enemy,* he said simply, letting her go and moving forward again. *Yes... Dante, how many more enemies you managed to make?* he whispered afterwards.

Martel nodded a little and followed him. "What the hell is wrong with me?" she asked herself softly. She didn't know why but she...liked being next to Greed.
