(Im back and im ready! So im would like Maes as a permanent character)
---Character Information---
1.) Character Name -- Maes Hughes
2.) Character Bio – Though normally he seems very annoying and distracted he really is a very hard worker and will get the job done excellently. He is also quite intelligent and a good friend. He relies on family and friends the most and mainly lives for them.
3.) Relationships with people –
Edward- a colleague and they are friends. They speak to each other as friends and he is also working to find the philosophers stone. Ed and Al were invited to celebrate Ed's birthday at The Hughes house too.
Roy- His best friend. He speaks to him with level headedness and patience. He may be one of the only one listens to.
Gracia- His wife. He interacts with her like any husband would. Lovingly but does keep secrets.
Elicia- His daughter. He loves her and again, talks to her like any father would. To others he brags and says she’s just adorable
Alphonse- He is friends with him. Not quite as close as Ed but sill friends.
Winry- Does not speak to her much. When he does its nothing special just idlechit chat.
Envy- Know of him as a homunculus. He finds out a huge secret (about Julia Douglas/Sloth) and goes to investigate it then envy and him fight. At first he is rather aggressive then envy turns into Maes' wife and shoots him while Maes is in shock. (but I guess he isn’t dead yet since im rping him)
Sheska- Originally he sees her as just a co-worker but then they find out she has a photographic memory and she works for him. He works her hard but he means well for her.
4.) Likes – Family and friends, talking
5.) Dislikes – war, homunculus, the philosophers stone
6.) History of the character -- He started out as a becoming father as he is first seen talking to Roy on a train about Gracia and what to do about her and if she suddenly has a baby. During this he completely disregards his post while talking to Roy. Then he worked on the laboratory 5 case. It is later learned that he was with Roy though most of Roy's freak outs and was there when he tried to commit suicide, seeing a more serious side of Maes. Then he dies at the hands of envy (explained in interactions, envy)

1.) Why do you want to be this character? He is just such a great character. I cried when he died. He is amazingly portrayed.
2.) How far are you into the Anime? Im finished with FMA, starting with FMA Brotherhood, and trying to find the movie
3.) How far are you into the Manga? Book 11

Maes walked down the halls of Central. He smiled and nodded with courteous detachment as people waved and said hello. He walked to the door with the silver plate that said Hughes on it. He opened the door and sat down behind his chair. He looked at the picture on his desk. It was a picture of Gracia and Elisia. He smiled and sighed. He began to work on various papers strewn across his desk. He did this for about an hour. Then he looked up as he heard a knock on his door. “Come in,” He said as the door opened. Roy Mustang walked in with his hair a mess, his jacket falling off, and look in his eye that said something was truly wrong.
