Character name: Edward Elric
Character Bio: Edward Elric is the oldest of the Elric brothers. He And his brother left home after their mom died. He is a State Alchemist under the name FullMetal. Edward is determined to get his brother back to normal and can sometimes... Well most of the time is stubborn. He doesn't like to hurt people and values everyones lives. He hates to be called short.
Relationships:
Alphonse Elric- is Edwards younger brother. They are inseparable and Ed would do anything for him. He never wants Al to get hurt
Winry- Childhood friend. Ed doesn't want her to get involved in his dangerous adventures so sometimes he hides thing from her, only because he cares about her.
Hughes- a trusted and respected collueage in the military. Ed sometimes finds him annoying but he looks up to Hughes.
Likes: Alchemy, Food
Dislikes: Milk, Death, his father, people who kill other people, being called short
History: Ed tried to bring his mother back but failed losing his arm and leg. He and his brother left to become state alchemists. They stayed at Tucker's house to train for the State Alchemy Exam. He passed with flying colors. He's been around helping people and looking for the Philosophers Stone
Why do you want to be this character?
Ed is a cool character. He's the main character and I find him hilarious! He is determined to get through to his goal and I admire that
How far are you into the Anime?
I saw the whole FMA series and I'm partly into FMA Brotherhood

Writing Sample:
Ed's ego was very low from his encounter with yet another state officer who thought Al, his LITTLE brother, was the FullMetal Alchemist. He should be used to it by now but it still made him at least a little upset each time. Edward sighed then kicked a stone that was laying on the ground in the alley he was walking through. "WHY AM I SO DAMN SHORT!?!?!" he shouted filled with anger while kicking a few more stones. He took a deep breath and regained himself. " Being tall isn't everything.... Sometimes being short is a good thing... Like in hide and seek and, and......" he muttered to himself trying to get back his confidence. Ed sighed. "WHO AM I KIDDING BEING SHORT AS A BEAN IS TERRIBLE!!!" he screamed, kicking another stone as hard as he could. It hit the wall and bounced off clobbering him in the forehead. Ed fell backwards and passed out.
