Physical Description: Weighing in at approximately 135 pounds, Scarrlet has a rather slim form for his height. Despite his scrawny limbs and thin body, he has immense strength, stamina, willpower and battle power. His hair drapes about down to his lower back and is not worn in a style of any kind and is parted down the center of his forehead, covering his ears. Scarrlet wears three military dog-tags around his neck, two of which have his personal information on it, the third nobody has ever seen. It is rumored that it has a photo of a transmutation circle on it, but this has not been proven. A tattoo of a Sound Control array was placed on both his palms to amplify his alchemic powers. In his pocket, he carries a small snare drum, large enough to bat two fingers upon. This is also used for alchemy. His skin tone is a tanned shade, about the shade of a basic cork board, but a little brighter. He has a large scar on his chest, stretching from his left shoulder to the bottom of the right side of his ribs. This was given to him during a fight with a powerful alchemist.

Background Information-
Personality: A rather happy person, but incredibly viscous when angered. Usually see's the brighter side of a situation and can figure a way out of nearly any problem. Can play nearly all musical instruments fluently without any practice at all. Has a high pain tolerance.
History: With his father working as a state alchemist, Scarrlet got exposed to a lot of violence and weaponry through alchemy as a child. As most children his age though, he wanted to be just like his father. His mother stayed at home all day making pottery to sell at the family shop and rarely paid mind to Scarrlet. Because of this, he learned to fend for himself by making his own meals, toys and other such things. It wasn't until he was age 8 that he began to study alchemy. His entire life he had been in love with music, so by instinct, he studied the way sound particles moved through the air and how they were affected by certain things in the environment he was in. At age 10, he had mastered the basic's of alchemy. He could transmute baking ingredients into cakes and fix broken pieces of pottery his mother made, and so on and so forth. Almost a year later, he had returned to his studies upon sound waves and how to manipulate them. He began learning about the human body as well and where certain sounds came from, such as his voice or his knuckles cracking. His father showed him that if he drew certain types of circles on himself, he could use them to do alchemy with a circle, but faster than drawing one. Of course, Scarrlet took a firm grasp of this concept and draw a custom transmutation array on his hands that would create a loud crack, equaling that of thunder, from his hands if he clapped. He tried to surprise his dad with this be sneaking up behind him one day and clapping behind his head. The force of the sound waves literally split his skull in half, leaving him dead. This event caused Scarr to change.. He now knew the real dangers of alchemy. But when he attempted to wash away the remains of the drawing on his hands, he couldn't. It was embedded in his skin. At the last moment, he grabbed his fathers lighter and burned the skin off where the drawing was, leaving both his hands in immense pain. At the age of 15, his mother died of food poisoning at the dinner table, leaving Scarrlet alone in the world. A year later, he decided to embrace the workings of what he had done to his own life and redrew the symbols on his hands and neck. He then went outside his house, clapped and screamed at the top of his lungs, causing an incredible shock wave that nearly disintegrated his home. A month later, he applied for position of State Alchemist and was accepted in after defeating every other applicant in a duel to the near-death. He was given the name "Shattered Sound" due to his power over sound.

Other: Went missing for half of a year when he turned 17, returning back to central with the third dog-tag added to the chain of two that were gifted to him by his father. He had burned the metal of the necklace into the back of his neck, making it and it's tags, a part of him.
Random Info: Has never smoked, drank or drugged himself in his life. He has also never eaten an enchilada or owned a poodle.

No swordsmanship skills of any kind but, Scarr is an incredibly skilled martial artist. Also, his little drum is used as a weapon. Yeah. A tiny drum.
10. Your character may have arrays tattooed on their body, but it may only be on one part of the body (i.e. hands, feet, one arm, one leg, etc.)
He's got the same one on both his palms.. Does that count as one thing?
11. All alchemy powers must be original. No copying canon character powers (e.g. only Scar can blow people's brains up and only Kimblee can turn people into bombs)
I don't think anyone in canon ever even THOUGHT of doing what Scarr does~
12. The military may have swords. However, when on duty, they may not use their swords. They must use military weaponry.
Scarr is against firearms in his own possession, because if he shot one, it would counteract with his circles and explode. He doesn't mind other using them though.
13. Alchemy MUST be with a physical element and must fit within alchemy laws. (I didn't think I had to put this since everyone has seen the show and it's a rule of the show)
Without air, there is no sound. With air, sound is created. It's all a matter of knowing how to use it.

The suns heat blazed down through a cloudless sky, making Scarrlet sweat like a madman. "Gods.. It only figures that the weather would be this hot the day they send me on duty at the Ishvalen Ruins.."
Scarr was on patrol there today, scouting for any potential traps or ambushes in the area, as a large shipment to a nearby town to the Ruins would be coming through here from Central.
"Place looks pretty clear to me.." Scarrlet said to himself, looking around once more before crossing his arms in completion.
"Yep! Looks pretty darn good to me!" And with that, he began to trudge his way through the heat back towards a small tent he was to stay in during the nights.
He arrived at his tent and plopped himself down in a foldout chair, contently sighing.
"Well.. I'm stuck here for another night.. May as well have some f--"
His sentence was cut off by a blow to the back of the head with a blunt object.
