Rose quickly bolted up, nudging Isto in the ribs as she moved. 'Oh Father, I was looking...' she said as she stood up and brushed her dress back into place. She looked at him, he had his usually smile on his face. 'For you' she said looking down to the ground, she was so ashamed that she was caught this way. She felt her cheeks redden, 'Im sorry Father' she said quitely.

Isto stood up, shocked, and spoke hastily to Cornello. *Father... really... it's not as it may seem! You know...* He has lost his words and opened his mouth several times. After a while, he continued. *We just talked! Yeah, we're friends, you see? We're...*
Father Cornello was still smiling. He stepped forward. *Isto,* he said in a calm voice. *And Rose. There is nothing to be ashamed for. Our Goddess Leto wouldn't wish for anything more than for more love to spread through this world. But you made love at the holy place.*
Isto looked at Rose, blushing. *I'm sorry Rose... I didn't know what I was doing, I was...*
Cornello stoped him. *Therefore,* he continued. *your love shall be sacred aswell. You have my blessing children.*

Rose was quite shocked at how calmly Father was taking this, she for a second truly beleived that he was sent by Leto to protect the town of Lior. Still blushing she looked at Isto and smiled, she didnt regret what had happened, as long as he didnt. She shook those thoughts from her head there were still things she didnt understand. 'Father' she said looking at Cornello. 'Where have you been, we tried to look for you but the gaurds said your weren't here' she moved closer to him. 'I did bring the Military with me like you asked' she whispered 'but i dont know where they are now, and more than expected came'

*Rose,* said Cornello with a smile. *I was talking to our beloved Goddess, and know of everything that has happened and you have done. And you have done truly well, I am proud of you, and Leto smiles at you at this very moment.* He paused for a moment, staring somewhere behind Rose, thinking. *I have a question for you, Rose. I know you are a popular person in Lior and know a lot of people. Do you, by any chance, know anyone who practices the art called alchemy?*

'Alchemy' Rose thought, 'No one in Lior knew of that art form' She thought long about Fathers question then she remembered that woman right before she left for Lior she had asked about the Elric brothers, they were the only people Rose knew of who knew alchemy.
She looked up at Cornello, 'Father, i dont know anyone in Lior who knows of such and art form, they all believe in the miricals that you bless us with, I did no two alchemsits a while back but they left Lior a while ago.'

*Two alchemist? And they went away?* asked Father Cornello curiously and sat down. *Tell me more Rose, were those alchemist from here? Where did they go? What were their names? Or...* he suddenly stood up. *Do you mean the Elric brothers?*

'They came here a while back, they wanted to know about something to help them. I cant remeber what it was they were looking for. Need less to say they didnt find it here and carried on to the next town...' Rose had started to say when Father Cornello lept to his feet 'Why did everyone want to know about the Elric brothers,' she thought 'I hope Ed and Al are okay'
'Yes Father it was them, and the woman in your office wanted to know that aswell' she asked with a confused look in her eyes

'No one in Lior knows anything about Alchemy Father, I thought you would have know this.' she asked, she didnt understand what Cornello was talking about, why did he want to find an alchemist so bad?

Father Cornello looked a bit suprised. *There is none?* he whispered. *That cannot be...* Then he said loudly: *Our noble goddess Leto has told me, that there are some alchemists, that live in our town. They MUST be here. And I would like to meet them.*
Suddently, Isto hold up his hand. *Father, I may know somebody you look for. I saw this girl, drawing some strange circles all over, light flashing, shapes changing. I thought that was because I was drunk. *He blushed a bit. *But it was real! Her name is Assira, and she lives a few blocks away from here. Should I bring her here?*
*Yes, Isto, that would be really helpfull,* nodded father Cornello. *And keep her safe! We don't need any more casulties this day.*
As Isto left the church, Cornello turned to Rose. *You have done well, for today, Rose. Our goddess Leto is pleased with you, and so am I.* He smiled at her encouragely. *And that boy, Isto... keep with him. For he is noble and brave.* 'Sure he is!' though Envy to himself. 'Oh, when this all is finished, I will enjoy this!'

She smiled as Father was talking about Isto, she hoped that he felt the same way she did about him. 'Father is there anything else you would like me to do for you?' she asked, she couldnt descuse the fact that she was tried and just wanted to go home and sleep, but she wanted to help Father.

*No, my dear child, you have done enough,* Cornello's smile was nearly as wide as his shoulders. *Though, I am afraid for your safety, Lior is very dangerous place now. So if you want to stay here, I would be glad to give you accomodation. Isto could stay here as well,* he gave Rose a small wink.

Rose went five different shades of red when Cornello suggested that. She tried to stop the huge grin that was started to appear across her face. 'Thank you Father but, I also need a change of clothes, I think it would be best if I went home and got some sleep there' she said as she truned to walk out the door. 'Ill come back tomorrow'

Rose smiled, and walked out the door waving Father Cornello good-bye. She shut the door behind her and walked down the stairs of the church, she couldnt believe the past events, but she was glad to be going home.
She walked out on to the streets and she wanted nothing more than to run back inside the church the streets were lined with dead bodies and blood stained the floor. Rose tred carefully as to not step on the bloods of drying up blood. Rose didnt feel like crying this time, she knew that Father was back and that everything would be fine. She made a list of things to do when she got in, then she remember Cornellos words about sending Isto over. Rose couldnt hide the smile on her face...she was falling for him.

Isto returned as fast as he could. He opened the door in haste and stood before father Cornello, breathing heavily. *Father... I have been to Assira's home, but she is not present yet. Yet she will arrive in the morning, I made sure for that.*
Cornello nodded and smiled. *You have done well, Isto. Yet, I have another task for you.*
Isto looked straight at Cornello. *Anything for you and our goddess.*
*Go to Rose and ensure her safety. I would not like to lose her,* said Cornello with a wicked smile.
Isto blushed immediatelly. *Like... you mean to her house, father?* He looked really unsure. Rose was his dear friend, he was at her house hundreds of time, but after what happened today, he wasn't sure about anything anymore.
*Oh yes! And spent the night with her and protect her from all harm,* said Cornello and pushed Isto out of the door. *Come tomorow with her, and have a pleasant night.*
SLAM! The door closed. Isto stood helplessly in front of them. Then he went outside. Several guards greeted him, reporting him of the enemy activity. He then wandered into the streets, aiming for the house of Rose. *Dammit, what is going on?* asked Isto himself. *Fine, Isto, you can do it!* He coughed. *Oh, my beloved Rose, my love to you is greater than then my belief in our goddess. For I see the light in you, the light of my life and...* he stopped. and looked on the Rose's house. *I'm here so soon? This is really crazy* he whispered and knocked nervously on her door.

Rose was shocked she had just arrived home about five minutes before there was someone at the door. Rose was hesistant to answer as it was getting dark outside and after Fathers words about the streets not being safe, she was unsure.
Never the less she answered the door, to an embarassed looking Isto, Roses face lit up she had wanted to see him again. 'Isto' she said a little bit to enthusatically. 'What are you doing here? Come in'

*Rose...* he couldn't even speak properly. *Rose... hem... I've been sent... Father Cornello-sama sent me here, to.... to ensure your safety.* He moved inside, looking around. *Nothing had changed, eh?* But then he looked at his feet. *Or has it?* He than lifted his head and looked straight into her eyes, blushing a little.

'Oh so you came here because Father Cornello sent you?' she asked, she had hoped that he ha come here to see her, maybe she was wrong. Had before been a mistake aswell, she didnt want to think like that. She looked him in the eyes, he was blushing but then again so was she, she coludnt get the words he whispered to her out of her head. 'Do you want something to drink' she said quitely

He blinked when she mentioned drinks. *Oh, hmm... yeah. Tea... tea would be nice, if you mind.* He stood there, looked at her, thinking what he should do. His mind screamed a thousands of possibilities, but yet, he was struggling about what to do. *Oh yes, the mint tea. Do you remember when we did drink itm when we were kids...? Those were the times.* He tried to smile, but didn't succeed much.
