'Yeah' she muttered as she grabbed the kettle and filled it with water, she remembered all the times that her and Isto had spent together when they were kids. She smiled to herself. The kettle began to whistle and Rose picked it up without thinking, the kettle was boling hot, and it burnt her. 'OWW' she shouted dropping the kettle on the floor as she held her freshly burnt hand

He was standing in the living room, looking at old photos, then he heard the Rose's scream. He imediatelly jumped into kitchen. *Rose??? What happened?* He saw the burned hand. He was stunned *Good Leto, are you alright Rose? Stupid question, of course you aren't!* He took her hand carefully, and placed it into the sink, which he filled with cold water. He felt a jolt by the heart as their hands connected. *Wait here, I'll get the bandage!* He run of and returned immidietelly. He salved the burned place with a healing salve and gently bandaged her hand. He felt this feeling again, as they connected. They were standing close together. *Is it alright now?* he asked.

Rose felt a lump in her throat, Isto was so kind and gentle he really wanted to lookafter her. She watched him badage her hand then looked up into his eyes. 'Thanks' she said bearly above a whisper, the pain in her hand was replaced but the nervousness in the pit of her stomach and the banging of her heart in her ears was all she could hear. Rose had rasied her hand and had layed it on top of Isto's. Her fingers curled with his. The were standing extremely close to each other, 'Thank you Isto, you have always been there for me havent you'

*I was, Rose... I always was. First as your friend and now...* Silence fell down. It was just like before. Before they started kissing in the church. Before they made love in the closet. He could feel her body, so close to his. He was not going to let this chance go away, not after what happened, and certainly not, because of what he felt to her.
*Rose... what happened before, in the church... I don't know what you think, but I don't see it as a mistake. For I... I love you. Oh, and only Leto knows how much I love you and...* Before he even knew it, he was kissing her wrapping her in a tight hug.

Rose was shocked as Isto lips touched her's, 'he loves me' her head was screaming! 'He actually loves me, so it wasnt a mistake, he wanted it to happen!' she thought to herself then leaving all other thoughts behind she grabbed the back of his neck with her arms and pulled him in closer, holding him closer as the kiss became more intense.

They kissed once again, this time, both in the knowledge, that this is nothing wrong. After a while, which seemed like thousands of years, their lips broke. *Rose... I love you so much. Rose stood there still wrapped in Isto's arms, she was scared of her feelings for him, they had been friends for years and now that all seemed to be leaving her, they stood for a while. Then coming to her senses, Rose took a step back , it was cold without Istos arms around her but this needed to be said 'Isto, we have know each other for years since we were kids, I dont want to loose that...by falling in love with you to' she said smiling

Rose looked up at him, he was scared, she knew he was just by looking in his eyes. She was too, she didnt want to ruin what was once a perfect friendship by moving on and crossing the boundary between friends and lovers. She also wanted it to happen, he had been so kind to her. She did love him...she did, she really did,. She gripped his hands back, 'I love you' she blurted out. 'I love you too'

He stood there, as a motionless statue. 'I love you too!' Those words were repeated over and over again in his mind. And this feeling,it was something strange. It was similar to the feeling hew had, when he kissed her, when he made out with her, but it was still different. Those three magical words: "I love you," made him shake in utter touch of extreme happiness and joy. *Rose, I want to stand by yourside, forever, till the death take us. I knew you for so long, but now, I feel like two pieces finally came together. I feel this was ment to happen.* He hugged her tightly.

Rose felt like she had been hugging Isto for years as they stood in her living room, she didnt want to move she felt comortable, and secure in his arms like nothing could go wrong, or no one could do her anyharm. She evntally moved and looked in to his eyes, 'Isto' she whispered...she didnt know what else to say, she just wanted to gaze into his eyes.

For the first time in his life, he felt the ultimate happiness flow into his life. And love into his heart. But eventually he let go of her and kissed her slightly. *You sit down, Rose, I'll go do the tea.* He kissed her once more and went to the kitchen. As soon as he was in, he started dancing in joy. 'I'm in love!' he thought in extreme happiness. He took the kettle and poured hot water into two cups with tea. Black tea with two sugars as Rose loved it. In a while, he brought it into the living room, handing one tea to Rose. *Here, you go.*

Rose took hold of the tea, 'Thanks' she said, sitting down on the chair. It was a hot night in Lior and a cool breeze came in through the open windows. 'Isto' Rose asked looking up from her tea. 'Why did Father want you to watch over me?'

He was watching her closely, sinking in his thoughts, that he almost misheard her question. *Hmm?* he asked staring at her. Then he shook his head. *What? Oh.... father Cornello-sama? Why did he sent me here? It was... he said it was for your protection. Lior is dangerous place these days, and he probably wanted to ensure, you wil be fine. As I will ensure aswell!* he added hastily.

Rose smiled, she wasnt used to having someone care so much about her, she had lived alone since Kain had died, and she didnt think she was capable of letting anyone else in after that. She sipped some of her tea, and pondered Isto answer. 'I wonder where Father had been, he seemed to have been gone for a while before he came and back and...urm...found us' she went bright red as she remembered there encounter.

*Yes... I wondered that too,* Isto said to himself. *His office seemed so empty, so deserted. Like nobody was there for days. But he said something, like he was talking to our goddess, so I wouldn't worry about it. More importantly, I wanted to ask you about those guys from that you said will help us. I know that they are from the military, I recognized the Mustang guy. Why are they here?* he asked urgently.

Rose had totally forgotten about Mustang and the others she was to busy trying to keep her dignity in tack, after being found in the cupboard by Father Cornello. 'Oh yeah they came with me' she said 'I went to Father before all this choas happened and he asked me to get them but he only asked for Mustang and Hawkeye, the woman with him. I dont know why the others came, and i dont know where they have gone to either...I hope they are okay' she said looking out of the window.
HAVOC
Havoc and the others had arrived at the hotel, after trawling round the city looking for a place with single beds, 'What is it with this place?' he thought to himself 'You have to be a couple just to get a room?!' The others where thinking the same. After they arrived they all went to their seperate rooms and got ready for bed. Havoc, who had been told to not smoke in the rooms, had his head hanging out one of the windows trying to suck the nicotine out of his last cig. He knew he should have brought more, 'How am I going to last' he thought. When he was finished he got in to bed and switched off the light...it was soon before he and the others where fast asleep.

*Help us? The military? And father Cornello-sama asked you for this?* Isto couldn't believe what he was hearing. *But he always despised the military! He always had said, that they are nothing but a band of murderes and conquerors, led by that dictator of theirs. What happened that he changed his mind?* Isto seemed angry. *The situation is not yet that serious, that we need help from THEM!* He then stopped and looked at Rose carefully. *Did they promise any kind of help?*

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Riza, Roy and their reinforcements arrived. Riza knew immediately it would be a mad scramble to find Rose and her companion.
She shouted over the noise, "Everyone! Split up into pairs! Help who you can, but on the look out for one particular girl. She answers to Rose. She has long brown hair with pink highlights at her bangs. If you find her send up some sort of signal and meet up at that if you see it. We need her immediately, so make her your priority! Understood?!"
A cacophony of "yes, Ma'am"'s rose above the noise and everyone split. Of course, Riza did her duty by staying with her colonel and running for the old church.
(GAH! I have no idea where Rose is, so I'm sending up flares if we find her! hahahah!)

Havoc woke up to the sound of Breda screaming, 'most probably a dog again' Havoc sighed, as he got his uniform on and stepped out of his room. Breda was climbing half way up the wall trying the best he could to get away from the tiny poodle, who was looking at him with sweet, glossy eyes. 'What is it now Breda' Havoc, reaching into his pocket to grab his cigs. 'Its huge, its, its, its a giant monster' Brada stuttered.
Havoc went up to the dog and shooed it away. The dog ran down the hall way to its master's room and walked in. 'Breda, you have got to stop this it's embarassing!' Havoc dug in his pockets for his cigs, then realised he didnt have any left. Breda had, by this time, composed himself. 'Havoc' he said handing him a worn out box of cigs 'I saved these for you, last time you said you were going to quit'
Havoc was about to thank him when Fuery and Falman came running up the stairs, they were out of breath and sweating like crazy. 'Lt Hawkeye and the Colonel are back, and they have alot of reinforcements.' Falman stated between deep breaths. 'Well then we better go and see what she wants us to do' Havoc exclaimed leading them out the door and to where Fuery and Falman had seen the Lt.
Walking up to Hawkeye, Havoc, Fuery, Falman and Brada saluted. 'Sir' they exclaimed. 'What do you want us to do?' asked Havoc
