((OOC: Seeing as I don't know where to put this, I'm just posting it here. This letter is from Dante to the boys, obviously, but she's pretending to be Izumi for her own reasons. It is delivered to them by a messenger boy shortly after they arrive in Lior, and was typed on a typewriter in order to avoid any handwriting discrepancies.))
Edward and Alphonse,
I hope this letter reaches you without much difficulty. With you boys always moving from one place to another, it probably went through the hands of more than a few messengers before it reached you. It is next to impossible for me to know anything except from stories I hear every now and then, but I hope you boys have been staying out of trouble. Should I find out otherwise, I assure you that you both can expect a boot up the ass, understood? Good.
Anyway, to the main point: I would like for you two to come to Dubilith as soon as possible. Not for a visit, no; the reason is one you might be happy about. You both know full well that I do not approve of your search for the Philosopher's Stone or that you have become dogs of the military, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate your dedication. Though I might have not expressed it as well as I wanted to the last time we met, I want nothing more than to see your bodies restored.
My former teacher Dante possesses a great deal of knowledge of the Philosopher's Stone, but, like me, considers it a fairy tale and does not believe it exists. That doesn't mean she wouldn't be willing to find an alternative method to restore your bodies, however. She did much research on it while working with a renowned alchemist in her younger years, and undoubtedly knows how to make something that could come close to being considered one.
I would like for you to spend about two weeks studying with her, alright? You boys need to take a break from your hectic life. You'll have warm beds to sleep in and good food to eat (her cooking surpasses mine, I must admit.) And from what I've heard, her new apprentice is an old friend of yours and looks forward to seeing you both again.
Unfortunately, I will be out with Sig for quite some time soon, so I doubt I'll be able to see you boys. If I find out you're snooping around my house without me there, you will regret it.
