If anyone wants to read about the language from the end of world, this is the topic for him! So: Dzień dobry means "good morning/good afternoon" Cześć means "hi/hello" Nazywam się means "I'm called" Nazywać means "to call" Nazywać się means "to be called" Now the example of the verb "to be"- być Ja(I) jestem Ty(you) jesteś On/ona/ono(he/she/it) jest My(we) jesteśmy Wy(you) jesteście Oni/one(they) są And some verbs: być- to be mieć- to have strzec- to guard biec- to run rozmawiać- to speak Also: how to read the polish letters ć- ch softer(like "chi", but soft, soft...) dż- g or j fr example Polish will read jackass and dżakass in the same way ż- longer "dż" sz- sh ł- it's like "w", for example in "wall" ś- longer "ć" ń- say soft "ni" ę- from "ae" to the speaking by nose(geez, I don't know how to say; like in "m" air comes by nose, sory, it's not in dictionary ) ą- like in "ę" but coming from "o" ó- it's like "u" in for example "Utah" but without "i" in saying the world to practise, try to say "gżegżółka"(it's a bird) Now something interestong: Zamek means "clock" and "castle", czapa- "cap or death". Strange? Don't worry- we've got much much more. Polish is a hard language, as you can see it's got the specific letters. I hope they will be able to show up on your computers, Firefox has got a packet of polish letters, for example to read :]
