Personality: Cristina is a fairly headstrong person and uses her alchemy to help out people. She can be angry at times and quiet at others, but for the most part, she's loud about her opinions and has to make them heard or she gets annoying and loud. Chris will get solemn sometimes when thinking of her worried parents, as she is worried about what they'd think when she left. Chris can get emotional fairly easily, much to the anger of herself. However, she's very tomboyish and will get angry if anyone says she should be doing girly things or wearing girly clothes like dresses and the such.
Physical Description: She has a slim body and she doesn't work out much, even though she's a good distance runner and a runner in short bursts of speed. She has light purple hair which hangs off her head in a bob style, and Chris wears a red shirt and, sometimes, black gloves. She also wears red bracers and blue pants. She wears blue boots, and her eyes are blue. Christina wears a frilly ribbon through her hair, despite her tomboyish self.
Likes: Helping out people in need, anything sweet or sugary, people who understand her, learning about alchemy.
Dislikes: People who think they are better than her, people who act cool, the military, being told anything about being a child (She likes to think of her as an adult most of the time, but she doesn't overreact. She just gets a little angry and usually filters her anger.), people who try to show they're better than her, war, battles, fights.
History: Born on a small farm in the countryside of Risembool, she grew as her parents lived off the crops and animals they grew and raised. She was a pretty big handful of a baby, but as she grew, she became a bit more independent. At two, she would walk around the farm on her own and usually go missing on "adventures" in the pigpen and in the crop fields. Growing to five, she started helping out her mother with house duties -- much to her own disliking, as she wanted to help her father out in the fields.
Chris helped her mother out with house chores for another year until she was allowed to help her father out with the dirty work, much to her mother's disliking. She would, in the night of one day on her seventh birthday, leave her house via the road, looking for homes. She would move from home to home, silently in the night, stealing an alchemy book or two if they had any. She would, after five days, come back with a sack of them and hide them in a hole in the ground, far away from the home. Though her parents were very unhappy with her running from home, after awhile they calmed down, if only slightly. Chris would usually, instead of work, dig up the alchemy books and read from them, learning about alchemy and testing out alchemy on the crops.
This same pattern of work, read, work, go home went on for years, until she was thirteen years old. At that point, she left the house after telling her parents that she learned alchemy. Of course, her parents didn't quite want her going out of the profession of a farmer, but she ran away from home, leaving a note that she wanted to help the public with her alchemy. So far, she's just staying in hiding and looking around for anyone in need of help with alchemy. Her knowledge of alchemy is fairly little, as she hasn't had a teacher yet, but she understands enough to do basic transmutations.
Alchemic Ability: She uses Alchemy in a strange fashion. She goes through the first two steps, understanding, and decomposition, however holds it there. When she decomposes the item, for instance, an apple, she keeps the image of the apple in her head. As long as it's in her conscious mind from the point of using the first two alchemic steps to the point of reconstructing, she can finish the alchemy and reconstruct the apple as the same item it was transmuted as -- an apple. Also, she can use equivalent exchange to, for instance, change the apple into a banana but she must have the banana in her head between the first two steps in that case. In simpler terms, she takes and apple and transmutes it: Nothing left behind of the apple. She thinks about the apple and reconstructs the apple later. Another note, she can walk and talk and run and stuff after she's transmuted the item, but as long as she's had it in her conscious mind, she can finish the alchemy at any time. Chris needs to use the alchemic array for the initial transmutation and the last part of the transmutation.
Other: Chris also holds a few drawings of alchemic arrays on paper in her pocket, and usually folded. She sometimes wears fingerless gloves, colored black, which usually have folded transmutation circles inside the glove.
