All right. the aim of this game is similar to the dragon ball z world martial arts tournement. anyone who wants to join just post you name here and ill make a roster of fights between too people or maybe battle royals( if i have enough people join) alchemy is restricted to weapon making only, and only in weapon fighting rounds. Sign up and ill start the prelims as soon as i can. none of my characters will compete. good luck!

we need three more contestants but for now ill give you the rules rping is a must. you have to have quality posts: "scar swung his fist at havocs face." will not work. any posts like that will earn a deduction of 5 health points. starting out with 35 health points, so the matches will last awhile. here's the combat system: (im going to use shorts "posts" to represent attacks. these kind of posts wont be accepted in the competition.)
'scar swung his fist at havocs face' is the post, so to tell if scar hits i have devise a numeric guessing game, that way i can be impartial as to the outcome. for punches i will use five digits(0-1)
lets say that scar punches at havoc. he would then put a selection of 1's and 0's trying to duplicat a set that i already have
scars set: 10101 my set :01001
the red numbers represent 2 numbers out of 5 he got right, so the punch landed, doing 2 damage. the damage increases with however many numbers you get right and if you get them all right the damage doubles.
the technique is the same for kicks but instead of five digits you use seven, requiring three correct digits to land the kick, causing 3 damage, with each right number after the necessary 3 adding one point to the damage. like punches if you get all number right it doubles the damage given, but unlike punches it will also give the opponent the choice of taking fall damage(three points) or giving up the ability to counter or dodge on you next turn. which brings us to the next part of the rules.
dodging is simple and uses only three digits. here's an example: havoc rolled below the punch.
dodge: 110: havoc 101: arythe the announcer
havoc failed the dodge number set and suffered plus three damage for falling into the punch.
now onto the more comical techique. countering uses a set of ten digits. 4 successful digit matches get you a non detailed counter attack, like: havoc counters the attack. 1110011011: havoc's counter 1001010101:arythe the announcer
Havoc brushes aside scars punch and knees him in the kidney.
counter attack damage is decided by the number of correct digits you get right and if you get all digits in a counter attack right it halves the health points of your opponent. (note: "hammerspace", aka: "pulling a hammer out of nowhere and knocking someone out" is a key element of aime humor and is allowed only on massive damage counter attacks.)
also, fame points will be given for good posts and beat downs if you are defeated in this bracket of fights then if you have enough fame points you can fight in the runner up bracket. every one will have an entrance post of no less than 100 words, so "scar walks into the ring" just wont cut the mustard. a good entrence post increases your fame and your chances of a second chance if you should be defeated.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL ANY CHARACTER KILL ANYONE ELSE"S CHARACTER. if you post something like that then t your character will automatically forfeit.
NOW LETS HAVE SOME FUN. (still need three more people though)

also, if you successfully dodge you have the opportunity to attack back if you get all 3 numbers right. the turns are setup like this
Scars entrance/ Havocs entrance/
then the two of them give a set of seven digits(0-1), the person who has more digits correct will start first. lets say scar got more right.
Scar attacks/ Havoc defends/ or havoc could dodge or counter
to defend you must get more numbers right than your opponent out of a set of 7 digits(0-1). lets say havoc defended successfully(yea right) he then would go onto
Punch/ Kick/ or special attack
a person only has 3 special attacks per fight and if they fail you are left dazed for 2 rounds(you get -3 on all your scores). lets say scar wanted to do Special attack: bitch slap from hell.
scar would then decide on a series of 15 numbers and pm that series to me. lets say he decided on 110011100010100. if havoc wanted to defend he would have to 6 out of fifteen right to defend. you can doge a special attack but if your dodge fails than the damage is doubled. the damage of special attacks is decided by however many the person gets wrong. if you fail a defend against a special attack then you cannot attack that round. special attacks cannot be used one after the other. keep signing up. the fun is near. if you have any trouble with the rules just pm me and ill explain better.
um this is to whoever plays hoenheim. hoenheim is way to powerful to compete so either ill control him as the assistant narrator or he'll do the commentary with me.
