Jean slowed down his sprint when he was certain he was a good distance from the Führer's office. Leaning against a wall, catching his breath, he peered around the corner he'd just come by. Good, noone was following him.
He did note the odd looks he received from his colleagues, realising that all the running probably wasn't such a good idea. Suddenly felling like an idiot, he contiuned towards Mustang's office with a brisk walk.
He was called over by a few same ranked officers, yet waved them off as he rounded into the corridor that held the door to his boss' office.
He stood outside said door, taking a deep breath to collect his thoughts, before knocking. He honestly wanted to just burst in and scream out his encounter, but for all he knew, the Führer could be in there, or perhaps someone else that was in on his plan. Whatever that may be.

Mustang stood from his seat, wondering who was knocking. He walked over to the door and openned it. "Havoc! What the hell happened to you?" he asked seeing his sweaty lieutenant. Havoc was never this excited, unless he had a date or something was horribly wrong. Mustang was certain it was the latter.

"Boss." Jean had worry etched over his face, yet felt somewhat relieved that the man was actually in and thankfully alone. He looked behind him quickly, pushing his boss into this own office and closing the door behind him, with one last look.
He must have seemed paranoid. But now was no time to correct such minor things. "I-I was at the Führer's office just now. And.." He shook his head, it was just too much, discovering vital intel and having a near death experience. He ran a hand through his hair, feeling the need to light a cigarette, yet he resisted and cleared his throat, trying again. "I was at his office, but he wasn't in. Colonel Douglas was. And there were other people but I couldn't see them." He frowned, racking his brain for next happening. It was important to tell it all from the top, save you miss something in the rush of the more important details. "She was eager to have me gone, I didn't trust it, so when I left, I hung by the door and, god I couldn't believe it!" His eyes were wide, quickly scanning the room for possible eaves droppers " Douglas is a Homunculus. And so is King Bradley. I know it sounds crazy, but you gotta believe me Roy!"
He was begging him to trust his word, to believe his unlikely story. "She killed someone. Almost me, but I hid. She found someone else. I'm sure whoever it was is dead. Dammit!" He was rambling, but he didn't care, as he punched the wall in frustration. That poor soldier, dieing for no good reason other than being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Havoc.....are you saying that our leader is a creature that doesn't even exist? How is that possible?" Roy asked Jean, raising an eyebrow angrily.

Jean saw the look on his face and instantly wished he'd thought this whole thing through a bit more. "I don't know. But some woman referred to Douglas as Sloth. And they were talking about the Führer as Pride. Then they started going on about Hohenheim and red stones and skipping to something."He shook his head. if Mustang didn't believe him, who would.
Not that it matter, he figured. With the way he'd been running and the fact he'd been regarding Douglas suspiciously during their conversation, he'd probably be figured out. And then killed. Shit.
He glanced at Mustang. It was obvious where he'd go. "Listen, even if you don't believe me. Don't tell anyone what I told you. In fact deny that I came here." He hesitated for a moment, trying to think of what to do now. Check with Fuery about anyone missing. Right. He made his way to the door. He couldn't let him get killed.

Mustang sighed, then walked after Jean. "Havoc" he said, "I need you to come with me as back-up. I heard signs of a struggle earlier".

Jean paused instantly, turning to look at the raven-haired man. "Boss?" He asked inquiring more details.
Maybe he'd heard Douglas, no Sloth, attack her unlucky victim? He nodded, agreeing that he was going, no matter the circumstances

Mustang began to walk towards Bradley's office. As he walked, he glanced to Jean. "I heard some voice upstairs a few moments ago. One of them sounded rather distressed. We should see what's going on, don't you think?" he asked, smirking slightly.

Jean only needed to blink twice before he matched Mustang's grin. "It's our duty boss." He said with a patriotic air, following his superior through the corridors.
He was glad though. His boss, friend, believed him. He wouldn't say it, in case Jean did get placed as the lurker, but he could tell. And it relieved him greatly.

As they walked towards the stairs, Mustang turned to Jean. "I have the feeling that a young woman was injured in the struggle. I intend to see what happened".

Jean bit his lip slightly as Mustang mentioned a possible injury. His mind instantly jumped to the person who'd come across Sloth. Was there another victim to the soulless creature? "Lead the way chief."He nodded.

They reached the floor where the Fuhrer's office was. "Come on Liuetenant" Mustang demanded, slipping on his gloves as they walked towards Bradley's office.

Jean watched as Mustang 'armed' himself, quickly slipping his gun out of it's holster. Flicking the safety off, he held the gun low, in case someone was to walk by.
"Ready." He gave him a quick glance as the door neared.
