"Winry Rockbell?Didn't she move away from Risembool?You would have to wait a pretty long time to get your arm fixed if you stayed here until she came back."Sora pointed out.

Risembool. A nice little piece of farmland. Livestock of different sorts, farms and even a few hills. It was quiet, it wasn't too hot or too cold, and the air even seemed to be happy. This was a good place, a place he could see his friend River moving too. As he looked around, he just had the question of where was she. With the gear he had on, anyone could tell he was in the military, and maybe even that he was a State Alchemist. It wasn't to hard to figure out anyway.
As the dark piece of metal shined in the light, Joseph Olden sighed once more. How was he supposed to find someone when knocking on doors got no answer from anyone. Within a few moments his eyes spotted two people together in the distance and he smiled. Moving toward them, he waved and smiled, taking off the long blue over-coat and dropping it to the ground before sitting down, the red long-sleeve shirt hiding all of his gear. "Hey... can you two help me or are you two just as lost as I am?"

Joseph looked at the two and listened as he heard that at least one of them had automail, and after actual looking, he saw it and then listened, nodding his head. "If you go to Rush Valley, tell them Joseph Olden sent you for repairs... they should help you out." He said, smiling at the one with the automail arm. "Speaking of which... I should get my own checked out soon..." Joseph mumbled.
"You can say that... more like I have no idea what house I am looking for... I came to try and find a friend of mine but I have no idea where to start..." Joseph chuckled, rubbing the back of his head, making clanking sounds as he moved. "All I know is that she moved her a few years back and her name is River. But we haven't kept in contact since the accident."

Joseph looked at the girl, hoping for some good lead and he waited for her answer. He was getting a little warm and the sweater he had on was only on because he thought it would be cool. "Really? That good... what about her?" Joseph wondered, pulling of the red sweatshirt. Of course, now the metal that covered his hands and arms that connected to his back was exposed to both of them.
When she spoke loudly Joseph jumped slightly before staring at her with wide eyes. She mentioned something about an Alchemist with the title of "Raging Water". Could it be that River had become a state alchemist? It would be an amazing thing that both had become a State Alchemist, but for some reason he couldn't be sure. "Raging Water? Well... if that is her do you know where I could find her?"

"Raging Water Alchemist, that name does ring a bell. Last time I saw her was when she was in Central, but that was a few Weeks ago."
He said as he gripped his automail with his human arm.
"So you have Automail to, huh? What happened to you?"

Joseph looked over at the man with the automail arm and he nodded his head. "So she was in Central a few weeks ago... I wonder if she is still there or out on a mission..." He said, smiling softly and sighing. "Its never easy finding one person in this world."
When the question was asked, Joseph looked at them and turned around, removing the arm armor, showing his entire back. "Most of my spine is automail, most of the skin on my back, the back and right part of my neck... and even a few of my ribs are metal." He said before he turned back and faced them.
Putting his chin in his hand he looked at the two. "It was one full year before I could move normally. Luckily, as a resident of Rush Valley, a lot of the people liked me and helped me out..." Joseph said. "Your story?" He asked, pointing to the automail arm.

It took me three months to move my arm again. Now I'm just glad it's functional" |

Joseph blinked and chuckled at the story of the other's automail arm and he rubbed his chin. "I've gotten a few scrapes and scratches from my alchemy, but to have your arm completely ripped off by it... that has got to really suck... must of been awake for a lot of the pain..."
He said, rubbing his chin. "Most of my recovery year is blank, the pain so much I was basically numb... all I know is that River moved away that year." Joseph said, looking at them. "In order to pay the automail makers back I joined the Military as a State Alchemist." He said, smiling before asking, "Your bills must be pretty high as well... how do you pay?"

Sora bit her lip,she didn't like hearing sad stories,especially about injuries.Even though she was a tad freaked out by this topic,she did her best to stay calm,in hope someone would lighten the mood a bit.

"Ahh... you get your stuff for free... my debt is huge to Rush Valley right now... even after being in the military for two years... its not easy paying them back for the detail and skills they used." Joseph said, wondering what life would be like if he could use all 100% of his paycheck, instead of just 20% of it. But as he sat here, it occured that he couldn't keep thinking of them as girl and boy with automail.
Joseph smiled and looked at them. "The name is Joseph Olden. How about you two, and if you don't mind answering, what type of alchemy do you excel with?" Joseph asked, offering his hands to them for them to shake if they wanted. Being to interested in finding River then asking about the automail, he forgot to be a gentleman. Pulling his hands back, he toyed with a small carving of a turtle on a necklace.

"I'm Aster Kamaki, The Construct Alchemist. As you could probably tell by name, I create stuff with my alchemy. From Weaponry to small childrens toys you name it. "I'm Sora Hokiboshi,the Day Dreamy Alchemist.It's sort of a mocking title,but it relates to my style of alchemy as well.What alchemy do I excel with?Nightmare alchemy,I take peoples dreams and my thoughts,and then use alchemy to switch them.My thoughts become your worst nightmare.It only works when people are sleeping though . . ."Sora said,and smiled with relief that weren't getting into deatails about automail.

"Nice to meet you Aster, nice to meet you Sora." He said with a smile before thinking about the titles they have been given. Construct and Day Dreamy. Both interesting titles indeed, sometimes he wondered about the titles given to people. So one was skilled with making all types of stuff, but what Sora used or did with her alchemy, he wasn't sure, but the thing of it working when one was sleeping was interesting.
"Interesting Construct Alchemist and Day Dreamy Alchemist. I am the Shining Armor Alchemist. My own Alchemy works purely with metal. That's why I wear this armor and why my coat has metal plates all through it." Joseph said, smiling at them. "Although a few said my skills are a bit... barbaric... no art to it, just force."
